use the RKO as a finisher in OVW? Was he a Randy Orton wannabe or something? Because he always struck me as one. For an average wrestler, he sure was full of himself.
He was extremely overrated in my opinion, I have no idea what anyone saw in him.

the RK-Doane haha i kinda liked Kenny, that leg drop was insane. i guess his youth and athletiscm was what appealed but clearly had a bad attitude and didn't he slag of Cena for something ?
but its crazy those spirit squad guys went from nobodies to wrestling Triple H & Shawn Michaels, Big Show & Kane, Flair & Piper. Kenny had a title match with Cena too i think. not many superstars can say they've had matches with all those guys but apart from ziggler where are any of them now ?

I read somewhere, and not sure if this is true, but he was gonna join Randy Orton as another 'legend killer' so he started using it with that in mind but then just kept it... But not sure if that's legit haha.. Although didn't they tease him joining rated RKO at one point ? Can't remember, but if not it's probably just he thought he could do it better than orton or maybe orton had heat with someone down in OVW who told Doane to use it. |

The announcers even called it the RKO as well, and the person above said, it became the "RK-Doane". It's obvious that they were adamant he was using "Randy Orton's finisher" and it made him look like a complete wannabe. |

Maybe to take a shot at Orton? Orton has said in an interview that while at a bar, he slapped the hell out of Kenny. Back in 2002, DDP asked Randy to use the Diamond Cutter as a finisher though. |
