I only play the occasional matches with pre-Attitude flashbacks, and since I've watched all of those guys thousands of times, I can pretty well remember how they wrestle. I don't really worry about how I'm going to start the match or move by move psychology. I do my matches more like a highlight reel most of the time. When I get stumped on what to do next, I just "skip" to the next highlight. Also, I typically do matches with basics and I don't really have an issue with the limited articulation, I suppose because it never bothered me with LJN's or Hasbros back in the day. I let my imagination fill in the gaps. Taking the time to pose my dolls perfectly to make a suplex look authentic just sounds tedious to me, unless I'm taking photos. please tell me you didnt call them dolls Yes, my wrestling dolls. Well, back to brushing Undertaker's hair...

Technically every action figure is a doll
But not every doll is an action figure
So as these dolls can be used for action
They HAVE to be called action figures only
Because 'dolls' is to broad and could give uneducated people the impression that these cant be used for action, when they can
......
All murderes are people
But not all people are murderes
But we don't call murderes people we call them murderers

I draw a blank mid match all the time. Usually when I do a match its because I saw a cool spot or sequence I want to try and add my own twists to. Or I've come up with something a I want to see how it works.
I've found I keep doing the same finish over and over. 1st guy attempts his finisher to get countered into the other guys finisher. Trying to get away from that.

Yeah lol. Alot of body slams, powerbombs and body drops. Cesaro is basically uppercuts plus Swing into sharpshooter.

playing with figures properly is a high level art form, its way harder than something like writing a song... especially when your supposed to be a grown adult man and you know your parents can hear you pretending to be Michael Cole, but constructing a good free flowing memorable high quality match... that is a real talent, talent that people outside the figure world will never appreciate sadly

Anyone else find it hard remembering what moves most wrestlers do when putting on figure matches? Like I was having a match with Sami Zayn and Finn Balor and I kept stopping because I couldn't actually remember many moves that either do, I went blank lol like i know there finishers and set up moves but despite never missing a Zayn or Balor match since they came to WWE I don't actually remember the majority of there moves when I'm playing LOL and I don't wanna do moves that they don't actually do so I just overthink and go blank it's Obvs even worse with wrestlers from before my time, I really struggle to put on matches with those guys,Cena matches are always my best haha but we all know his move set so well Anyone else have this problem ? Or am I just stupid Yes, and its funny you mention Zayn and Finn, because in our fed, my brother can make those 2 fight forever. I have a few that I can do really long matches with, because I know all of their moves. Undertaker, Cena, Lesnar, Kurt Angle. Usually bigger guys are easier because they just do power moves, and smaller guys are easier because they're all about speed. I often struggle with Sting, just because I didn't watch a lot of him until recently. And as weird as this sounds, since he's probably my second favorite of all time, I often pause during Shawn Michaels matches lol

When you can't think off a move, always go to the outside and brawl at ringside haha that's what I used to do anyway! So tempted to start a fig fed again since being on these forums! Haha but just curious is there any over 21- 30 players on here ? And how do you keep the buzz going when your supposed to be doing adult things like getting married etc haha That stupid 'your too old' voice in the back of my head keeps holding me back starting up again I'm 23, my brother is 16, and we still take a day or 2 out of the week to play, and I'm engaged and have a 2 month old lol. My fiancé is cool with it because she's a nerd too, and my parents are happy to have me visit them so often, so it all works out. We work it around our respective schedules and what not. Sometimes I feel too old, but its still fun to me, and there's worse I could be doing lol

I want to always be absorbing new moves and trying them on figures. Watching LU and NJPW has helped me diversify a lot, though I still had to watch a few youtube videos to figure out how to do a phoenix splash right.

It's a tough one, because when I play i don't like to know what's gonna happen haha I like to swerve myself, but I do think a little research and planning is needed to put on solid free flowing matches hahaha

When it's just me I can keep it organic and feel out the finish that works for the match I've done. I do think about beginnings a lot though; a collar and elbow tie up is fine for a a regular match but when guys are in a blood feud I try to give it a hot start.

Yeah I normally know whose gonna win but I'm always open to change, I just thinks there's no point doing too much planning or your basically just sat there recreating what you already know haha but yeah I often start the big grudge matches outside the ring on the ramp attitude era style lol

All the time. Especially in my fed. And with Mania coming up I'm probably going to spend a lot of time studying matches of everyone involved.

For me, most matches happen during bath time. Only problem is, soap gets all over the place, and in my figures' eyes... I always bring anew extra wash rag for their eyes. Helps during bash at the beach.

You guys talking about playing with your figures in the tub reminds me of my action figure fed when I was a kid. I had a board that I put across the tub like a desk in front of me and had a ringless Royal Rumble on the platform. Elimination by knocking the opponent into the water! Fun stuff.
