I honestly think it has to do with the robe. Of course, I would love to see what Mattel could do with a rubber Flair robe, but I know I'm in the minority.

Pull the DiBiase Jr / E4 Jericho little color variation with him. Maybe the green/yellow combo then half light purple/dark purple short haired Nitro era look. Don't expect a robe in the Elite line, nor a World title. ...the recent Elite Rick Rude had a cloth robe though - so why not Flair? It doesn't have to be as detailed/fancy as his WM24 one... things like that could be saved for the DM line or RSC exclusives. I'm sure they could do a Basic/nice-looking cloth robe in the Elite line though... I mean, only TWO Elite Flairs - and only one robe? Come on Mattel...

Compared to the number of Warriors and Macho Mans they've made, the numbers speak for themselves. I am not trying to ruffle the feathers of those who can't get enough Macho Man and Warrior figures, but some of us want some more variety opposed to more of those two characters. Flair is a perfect example.

We really need some more elite Flairs, with all the Warriors, Savages and even Hogans we should have just as many Flairs.

Wishful thinking, I would really love an Armageddon 2003 Evolution four pack with all the belts perhaps.

I completely forgot that Rick Rude came with a cloth robe.

They recently did Rude in his robe, so I'd have to think a less extravagant robe (like his red one) could be realistic for the Elite line. Flair has a lot less deco than Rude, too.
I'm really wanting a WCW purple robed Flair with the purple trunks and light purple boots.

I'm hoping we get an elite flashback Ric Flair before the end of the year. If the robe is anywhere near as good as the ones that Goldust and Regal had, I'll be overjoyed.

I've wondered this myself. So many possibilities with all the different robes.

yes, the flair DM is on the TRU site.
why does every thread turn to people bashing mattel about their figures. You would think we were collecting some little girls toys w/ all the whining and crying going on.
ok back on topic...do we really need more flairs? maybe just one w/ him in a suit. and even that can be made via custom

if they do another.....it should have the blue robe and baby blue boots...so i can make my DM Ric Flair accurate I guess for now if you buy another horseman flair body you can put the dm head on it plus red boots and knee pads from the old man battlepack. Then just the dm head and red boots are sticking out from the rob making it look like a diff flair. Then put the old man head on the dm body for the blue tights. 3 flairs that way (including the original horseface, er horseman flair).

If we get an Evolution era Flair Elite, it could come with the RAW tag belt. Perfect way to get it back in to the line.
