WCW 2000? LOL I remember in 2000 we got lots of new guys like Vampiro, Jarrett, Kanyon, Dennis Rodman etc. Now WWE 2000 was a different story. Everyone was remade nearly that entire year in TTL form. I believe the Hardyz were the only 2 new guys released that year.
As for your post about Mattel well I'm 50/50. We've got lots of new wrestlers and great headscans but lots of things are lacking. Look at the Mattel legends series that is a disgrace and apart from Magmum everyone has been re released instead of getting new attires. Wheres WM14 Undertaker and DX IYH Shawn Michaels?
Also where are Elite Ric Flairs? Are Mattel avoiding them because of his robe and look at Macho Man so many of them lack his upper body.

To me they might be a problem here and there but not worth my time to worry about it. I collect for fun and if there is a slight issue w/ the figure...so be it. There are more important things in life than..OMG, my toys aren't painted correctly or if they don't look perfectly accurate.
Just saying, a lot of new heads aren't bad. Like that Charlotte one, which is way better than her first one. But you overexaggerate a lot, because there are few figures Mattel actually does bad on, yet apparently Mattel sucks and Jakks should return because one bad Lana head or something.
I'm gonna disagree with you on that 2nd Charlotte headscan. I made a short list in a previous thread of all the headscans I was very disappointed in that have come out or will soon. How many original headscans Mattel makes in 1 calendar is a fraction of the total amount of new figures they make for elites/basics. So over the last 6-7 months from what I have seen for every good original headscans they seem to be cranking out a bad one as well. That to me is really not good to me. So if this continues I think wwe should look elsewhere.

I'd say Mattel's more like WWE in 2002.
Incredible roster. One side of things, some formulas are getting tired, and you can see the cracks starting to form. On the other side, there's fresh, exciting superstars people are craving. Everybody can't wait til this one legend returns to the fold and uh, I guess HLA's desperate cry for attention = Zombies line.

There is a fine line between constructive criticism and cry baby BS. This falls more into the latter.

I think Bill does a great job and the only complaint I have has nothing to do with him or Mattel but I just wish WWE would try harder at getting the rights to a lot of legends that would make cool figures.
The Bezerker The Warlord Nailz Gangrel - I know they can't use that name so just call him the brood Repo Man Kurt Angle Bastion Booger Giant Gonzalez Skinner The Mountie Bam Bam Bigalow Jeff Jarret

I'll be so pissed if Mattels deal ends early, or they don't resign after 2019.. The though of having to start over AGAIN, with another toy company makes me feel sick.

It wouldn't surprise me if WWE and Mattel split up after 2019. I'm sure some a company like Wicked Cool Toys or Funko would be drooling to have the exclusive rights to make WWE figures. But overall I think Mattel is still doing a great job and the thought of starting over is pretty crazy.
