Dammit, they broke up the Wyatts. Why did they even let them be separate draft picks in the first place oh well at least we only lost strowmen

I just read the new commentating teams for RAW and Smackdown. Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves will commentate RAW while Mauro Ranallo, JBL and David Otunga commentate Smackdown. Poor Ranallo

Typical as expected wwe draft. Only disappointment is ok you breakup the Wyatt Family in 2014 only to bring them back together plus one in 2015 only o split them back up in 2016 smh. They Wyatts are the best thing on wwe tv right now.

Well I don't think it was that great. No Bayley, Eva getting called back, breaking up the Club and Wyatts, and no explanation how the championship will be handled.

I liked the Draft. I thought it was really great. I knew Balor, Jax, an American Alpha were going to be drafted. Bliss, and Carmella were a surprise. I had a feeling Mojo was going to get drafted or at least called up to team with Ryder. I'm surprised Bayley wasn't picked, but I think she is going to debut sunday. Thought it was weird that Slater wasn't drafted. Interesting that Strowman was drafted to Raw, I'm interested on what they do with him. When Harper returns they'll probably put him on Smackdown to be with Wyatt and Rowan. I'm sure once they get the Crusierweight division up an running we'll see more call ups. all in all Great draft.

I knew for one that Bayley wouldn't get drafted. She and Asuka are gonna be the two top draws for the NXT Women's division for the time being until they build up new stars. So Bayley kind of needs to remain in NXT for a while longer.
Some of the draft picks that were being picked live on Smackdown made no sense.
Like for example, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn being drafted to the same show. One should have went to Smackdown, so then this Sunday would be their last encounter together for a long time. But no, they are both on Raw, thus probably gonna keep feuding.
Randy Orton being drafted to Smackdown was just to make the Lesnar vs. Orton match at SummerSlam seem bigger now than it needs to be, with a Smackdown vs. Raw type match happening.
The Heath Slater stuff should be entertaining. I have a feeling he is gonna be showing up on each show, trying to get a job for a while.
It was weird that Paige wasn't one of the girls that got picked in the draft during Smackdown. Kind of goes to show how low she has fallen when it comes to the ladies of the WWE.
Putting Braun Strowman on his own on Raw just screams disaster. He needs Bray Wyatt and the rest of the group. His weaknesses are gonna shine huge now with nobody there to protect him.
Breaking up The Club seems dumb. Even if Balor was to take over the group on Raw, fans don't want to boo Balor. But knowing WWE, they won't even acknowledge the history of Balor, Gallows and Anderson.
I gotta feeling though AJ Styles will turn face eventually and be the star of Smackdown.
Seeing Roman Reigns get picked 4th over all for Raw I believe it was, is some what funny. Goes to show that Vince maybe isn't as high on him as he was before.
But all in all, I am sure that come the next few weeks, people will either find reasons to love how the draft worked out, or absolutely hate it with a passion.

You Know how Steve Austin and Triple H were the biggest Free Agents in 2002? Well that, make way for future U.S. Champion Heath Slater.....why are you laughing they gave the I.C. to Ryder for a day, and a Ho won the hardcore title not to mention Santino Marella. So no it's not "impossible".

Had no intention of watching two full length shows a week as putting up with Raw is sometimes a chore. So I'm very happy they kept most of the newer and up and coming stars on Raw. Only pick I'm upset about is AJ being on SD although it was to be expected.
Someone trade him for the Dudleyz and Booker T lol

I enjoyed the draft. Most of the superstars I find boring were drafted to Raw, so I'm happy about that. I was rooting for SmackDown, much like the original brand extension, and am happy with its roster. The NXT selections were terrible, minus Finn Balor and American Alpha. How does Mojo Rawley still have a job? He looks like an bunghole that would work at Taco Bell. And Eva Marie being called up before Bayley makes me sick. Ugh.

I'd be 100% all-in on Smackdown if they had Cesaro instead of Cena. As it is, I think the rosters are pretty balanced.

...am I missing something here? How on earth were the likes of Mojo Rawley, Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss picked over Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe and Asuka?

I think it's quality, personally.
Hard to pick one over the other.

Team Smackdown for me. Everyone realizes though that Smackdown is only 2 hours right? Of course their roster is gonna be slimmer but I think they have the overall better roster. Instead of jumping to conclusions about how splitting up the women and tag teams is stupid and bad, let's just see what happens next week. We could be getting the tag team titles split again like they used to be and a new womens title. Last night was only the draft. It wasn't the first official Smackdown of the new Live Era. If having AJ Styles, Cena, Orton, Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, American Alpha isn't a must watch, than I don't what is. Plus it's filled with guys who got lost in the shuffle that can now be brought back to life like Corbin, The Ascension, Breeze, Ziggler, Del Rio, The Vaudvillains. It's a great opportunity for a lot of guys. Where as on Raw your only star power is New Day, Rollins, Reigns, Balor, Charlotte, Owens, Zayn, Jericho, and Cesaro followed by Titus, Axel, Dallas, Swagger, Dudleyz, Mark Henry, etc. which nobody really cares about anymore who will have to take a back seat with no effort put in and be your lower-card on the show now. At FIRST glance, you think Raw did better. If you really look at it, Smackdown came out on top.
Quality over Quantity and Smackdown has the Quality from their main eventers even down to the low-carders.

SD is very top heavy with main eventers while Raw is very heavy in the upper midcard department. If Cena and Orton go down or take time off SD is in trouble.
I feel Raw is still gonna be portrayed as the A show. Had Rusev and Zayne gone to SD id see them on more even footing. Hell had they put Aries and Joe on SD it would have at least made the midcard worth watching.

I think Smackdown actually got the better picks on the Network. Raw got a lot of filler on the Network while Smackdown got some exciting guys like Kalisto, Crews, Breezango, Vaudevillains and Bliss

Did Cesaro do something to piss them off? He was one of the last people drafted and he lost cleanly to Jericho. Then he was clearly unhappy in his backstage interview... Just seemed like a weird night for him

...am I missing something here? How on earth were the likes of Mojo Rawley, Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss picked over Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe and Asuka? Because the WWE doesn't look at NXT as developmental anymore, they look at it as a third brand, mostly thanks to the fans being so supportive of it. If they brought up all the major stars from NXT to the Raw and Smackdown brand, then NXT would be losing all their main event talent. So stars like Joe, Aries, Nakamura, Asuka, Bayley have to stay in NXT while they build up new stars.
