ECW Hardcore TV 7/19/98
*After the opening video which is the theme music playing over highlights for Night One. It transitions to the ring, Sandmans music laying he's already standing on the guardrail, the crowd cheering, he has a kendo stick in hand, and a beer in the other. *
Styles: Welcome to ECW Hardcore TV live from The ECW Arena. Tonight is Night Two of The International Wrestling Summit. Tommy Dreamer, Rob Van Dam, and Taz all earned two points on Night One.
*Sandman has hopped off the guardrail and is posing in the ring. *.
Styles:They restocked the beer and The Sandman is warming up for his match.
*The camera pans to the entrance way. Mike Awesome power walks out and runs to the ring and slides in. Him and Sandman run at each other and Awesome Big Boots Sandman. He picks him up and Powerbombs him. *
Styles: Mike Awesome was mere milliseconds away from winning against Taz on Night 1, and if you can't tell, he's not too happy about it.
*Awesome pulls Sandman to his feet and then hits the ropes and hits a Running Elbow. He pulls Sandman to his feet again. Awesome trash talks him before hitting the ropes again. This time Sandman reverses Awesome by low blowing him with a kick. The crowd pop. *
*Sandman grabs him and DDTs him. Sandman lays next to him for a bit before rolling up to his feet slowly. He heads towards the ropes and leans out and picks his kendo stick up off the apron and holds it in the air. The crowd cheer, Awesome is halfway to his feet, dazed. Sandman swings the stick and hits him in the stomach with it. Awesome barely flinches before standing up. Sandman hits him in the ribs, again Awesome barely reacts. Sandman backs up and hits him in the ribs again. Still no reaction. He backs up and goes to swing again but Awesome Big Boots him. Sandman staggers backwards and falls again the ropes. Awesome grabs him and Irish Whips him, hitting the ropes as Sandman does. When the two meet in the middle, Awesome hits him with a Small Jumping Shoulder Block. Awesome pulls him up and Powerbombs him. He looks around before picking him up and Powerbombs him again. He poses and repositions Sandman. He climbs to the top rope and jumps landing on The Sandman with The Awesome Splash. He covers him for the three. The crowd cheer, Awesome gets up and immediately gets out of the ring and storms off to the back, pushing photographers aside as he does. The ref checks on Sandman. *
Styles: …I'm speechless.
*The table appears on screen, showing that Awesome earned two points. The static screen transition appears and comes back on the ring. The crowd pops Sabus music hits. The camera focuses on the entrance way as Sabu walks out, his chair in hand. He slides into the ring as he's introduced. He points to the sky, and RVDs music hits, the cheering getting louder. *
Styles: The ECW World Tag Team Champions are about to go head-to-head. One on one. RVD already has two points in this tournament, Sabu came close but lost to Tommy Dreamer.
*RVD gets into the ring and goes face-to-face with his tag team partner as RVD is introduced. The crowd are cheering loud, the two shake hands. The bell rings and RVD slaps Sabu hard. The crowd ooh. Sabu puts his hand to his mouth. He looks at RVD. RVD slaps him again and Sabu immediately dives at RVDs legs and takes him down to the mat. He punches RVD a few times before standing up and stomping on him. He grabs the top rope and jumps onto and off the middle rope and turns mid-air Leg Dropping RVD. He punches RVD again before standing up and grabbing his chair. RVD rolls onto his stomach, holding his jaw. Sabu hits him across the back with the chair three times before tossing it out of the ring. *
Styles: Jesus, Sabu is pissed!
*RVD is arched in pain on the mat. He rolls halfway up and Sabu grabs him by the hair and tosses him through the middle rope to the floor. Sabu follows and goes to the side of the ring and grabs his chair. RVD is on his feet, groggy. Sabu thrusts the chair into his gut. RVD jumps back holding his gut, falling to one knee. Sabu sets up his chair and grabs RVD by the hair. He drags him and throws him into, back first into the guardrail. Sabu punches him once and then goes to the chair and repositions it. He backs up and jumps off the chair towards RVD. RVD moves out of the way and Sabu crashes into the guardrail ribs first. The crowd ooh. *
Styles: Damn! Sabu could be looking at broken ribs.
*RVD grabs him and pulls him away from the guardrail only to throw him back into it, ribs first. Sabu squats holding his ribs. RVD grabs him by the hair and pulls him to his feet and rolls him into the ring. RVD slides in and covers Sabu for a two count. RVD slowly stands, his hands on Sabus chest. He jumps and spins in mid-air Leg Dropping Sabu. He covers him again and only gets a two count again. He pulls Sabu up but Sabu punches him in the gut and pushes him into the ropes. RVD bounces kicking Sabu in the chest. Sabu falls from one knee to his back. RVD stands at his side and taunts before hitting a Standing Moonsault. He doesn't cover him though. *
Styles: Impressive Standing Moonsault by Rob Van Dam.
*RVD moves Sabu towards the middle of the ring and this the ropes. He hits a Rolling Thunder and covers Sabu only getting a two. *

Styles: RVD getting slightly annoyed he hasn't been able to get a three yet.
*RVD picks Sabu by his hair. He holds Sabus chin and trash talks him before slapping him. Sabu turns his head to the side briefly before punching RVD in the jaw. RVD grabs his jaw and staggers back against the ropes. Sabu kicks him in the gut then Irish Whips him. He hits the ropes himself and hits RVD with a Jumping Clothesline in the middle of the ring. He quickly roll to his feet and stomps on him a few times. He grabs the top rope and pulls himself up no drops his leg against the rope and Moonsaults onto RVD for a two count. Sabu jumps up and Legdrops RVD gut and covers him again for a two and a half count. *
Styles: Quick covers from both men. Damn it we have to take a commercial break.
*It goes to commercial and it comes back on Sabu ducking a Clothesline and jumping onto the second rope. He turns mid-air and hits RVD with a Tornado DDT, the crowd oohs. Sabu rolls RVD onto his back and covers again for another two and a half count. Sabu looks up at the ref, slightly pissed. He stands up and stomps on RVDs gut a few times. He goes to the ropes and again jumps off the middle rope and tries for a Spiral Leg Drop but RVD rolls out of the way. Sabu leans back on the mat, hold his legs up in pain. RVD catches his breath on all fours. When he gets up, Sabu puts his legs down and RVD hits the ropes and hits a Rolling Thunder Splash but he doesn't cover him. He pulls Sabu up and throws him into the corner. He kicks him three times and then hits a Jumping Back Kick into his gut. Sabu slumps down a little, holding his ribs. *
*He pulls Sabu to his feet and turns him around. He locks his arms around his waist. Sabu elbows him twice and RVD lets go. Sabu runs and jumps onto the second rope then the top rope. He jumps, turning, but is Dropkicked by RVD. The crowd ooh as both men lay in the mat. *
Styles: What a Dropkick!
*RVD slowly pushes himself up. Sabu rolls towards the ropes and uses them to pull himself up, slowly. When he's on his feet, RVD locks his arms around Sabus waist and hits a Bridging German Suplex for a close two count. RVD pounds on the mat before standing up. He repositions Sabu and climbs to the top rope. He looks around before trying for The Five Star Frog Splah. Sabu gets his knees and as RVD lands on his knees, he rolls off and rolls closer to the turnbuckle, holding his ribs and kicking his feet a little. RVD stretches out laying on the mat. Sabu pulls himself up and runs. He jumps off of RVDs back, which causes him to roll onto his back, to the top rope and then Moonsaults onto RVD. He covers for a very close two count. The crowd oohs as RVD kicks out. *
Styles: The always innovative Sabu using RVD as a springboard.
*Sabu rolls onto his back, putting his hand over his eyes. RVD rolls onto his stomach, panting. Sabu pulls himself using the ropes. He goes over to RVD and tries to lock in The Camel Clutch. RVD crawls backwards, between Sabus legs. He stands up quickly and pushes Sabu into the ropes. As Sabu bounces off and moves forward a little, RVD Superkicks him, knocking him to the mat. RVD goes out onto the Aron and takes a moment to catch his breath. He slowly climbs onto the second rope. Sabu pulls himself under the ropes onto the apron. He slowly stands up and climbs to the second rope and punches RVD. RVD punches him back, Sabu punches him back and RVD staggers a little, and grabs the ropes to steady himself. RVD kicks Sabu in the shoulder. Sabu grabs his shoulder. He kicks him in the shoulder agin and Sabu flips back inside the ring. RVD climb to the top rope and hits The Five Star Frog Splash and gets the three count. The fans cheer as RVD is announced as the winner. *
Styles: A hell of an effort from both but RVD once again pulls out the win and earns another two points.
*RVD rolls out of the ring, holding his ribs as he walks to the back. The show cuts to commercial before coming back on Taz already in the ring with a mic in hand. *
Taz: Just get your ass out here Dreamer so I can choke you out.
*He throws the mic down and the ref hand it to the ring announcer. The camera cuts to the entrance way as Tommy Dreamer comes out. He suddenly speeds up because Taz left the ring and started running up the ramp. The two meet halfway and start trading fists, the crowd cheering. Tommy wins and Taz leans against the guardrail. Dreamer tries to Irish Whip into the parallel guardrail but Taz reverses. Dreamer hits the guardrail and arches in pain. Taz quickly grabs and drags him a little before tossing him shoulder first into another section of the guardrail. Dreamer slumps down holding his shoulder. Taz kicks him in the other shoulder and Dreamer clinches his teeth in pain. Taz pulls Dreamer up by the arm and rolls him into the ring. He follows and covers Dreamer for a one count. He quickly puts Dreamer in a Cross Armbreaker, blocking the nearest ropes. *
Styles: Taz looking for a quick tap out victory.
*Dreamer eventually squirms and gets his foot on the bottom rope. Taz lets go and rolls to his feet and pulls Dreamer to the middle of the ring. He locks in another Cross Armbreaker, but Dreamer locks his hands together. Taz tries to fully apply the submission but Dreamer keeps his hands locked together. He slowly gets to his feet, pinning Tazs shoulders to the mat. He only gets a one count, before Taz pushes him back to the mat. Dreamers hand separate as he lands on the mat. Dreamer starts to squirm to the ropes again but Taz applies pressure on the hold. *
Styles: Who's our sub if Taz injures Dreamer?
*Taz lets go of the hold but not the arm. He pulls Dreamer to his feet and Hammerlcoks his arm and then Belly-to-Back Suplexs him. Dreamer sits up, grimacing and holding his arm. Taz pushes him to the mat and covers him for a two. Dreamer rolls away, holding his arm. Taz goes to pick him up again but Dreamer Low Blows, the crowd ooh. Taz backs up and goes to one knee, holding his balls. Dreamer rolls out of the ring and goes under the ring, his legs sticking out. *
Styles: Here we go…
*Dreamer comes back up with a chair and tosses it in the ring. He pulls another chair out and tosses it in the ring as well. He stands up and goes to the side of the ring and clears off the ringside table and pushes it into the ring. He goes back under the ring again. *
Styles: Now what's he looking?!
*Dreamer pulls a ladder out and slides it into the ring. *
Styles: Who the hell left that under there?
*He gets into the ring. Taz is back on his feet in the corner, catching his breath. Dreamer picks up the ladder and runs forward, driving it into Tazs ribs. The crowd ooh. He lets the ladder drop and goes to the other corner and starts to set up the table. As he's setting it up in the corner, Taz German Suplexs him. He then picks up a chair and hits Dreamer across the back. Dreamer rolls around in pain. Taz throws the chair out of the ring to the floor. He pulls Dreamer up. He stands him up and T-Bone Suplexs him. He rolls to his feet and picks the ladder up. *
Styles: So about that substitute?
*He stands the ladder before throwing down onto Dreamers ribs, the crowd ooh. He goes to the other side and picks up and slams down the ladder a few times. The crowd oohing with each one. He pushes the ladder away and covers him for a two count. The crowd pop when Dreamer kicks out. He says “” and then stands up and pushes the table out of the ring. Dreamer slowly starts to crawl towards the other chair. Taz grabs him by the waistband of his pants and pulls him to his knees. Dreamer throws his elbow back into Tazs ribs a few and quickly gets to his feet and hits him with an Ace Crusher. He rolls Taz onto his back and covers for a two and a half count. *
Styles: Tommy Dreamer was mere seconds away from earning another two points.
*He rolls into a seated position catching his breath before pulling himself up, using the ropes. He has his back turned to Taz. The crowd pops when Taz rolls right up and crosses his arms. Dreamer turns around and jumps a little. The two stare down before Dreamer goes for a punch but Taz ducks it and hits the ropes hitting Dreamer with an Angry Mans Clothesline. Dreamer rolls right back onto his feet. Taz hits the ropes again and hits another Clothesline. Dreamer slowly rolls back to his feet. Taz tries for another Clothesline but Dreamer ducks and locks Taz in The Tazmission, the crowd pop huge. *
Styles: He's got Taz locked in his own submission move! Could he actually make Taz tap to his own hold?!
*Taz struggles towards the ropes. After a minute or so, Dreamer puts a leg around his waist trying to pull him to the mat. Taz uses his free arm to pick up Dreamers other and runs and he jumps, trying in mid-air and drives Dreamer and himself through the table in the corner. The crowd pop huger then before. *
Styles: …Oh my God!
*The ref checks on both men. After a few seconds, Taz rolls to the side and slowly pulls himself using the ropes. He drags Dreamer away from the corner and covers him for the three. The crowd cheer as he's announced as the winner. *
Styles: Taz has earned another two points but more importantly, can we get a medic to check on Tommy please?!
*Taz poses in the ring as Joey Styles throws to the end of the show and thanks the fans for tuning in. Taz leans against the ropes with his head down on his forearms as the show ends. *

He then picks up a chair and hits Dreamer across the back. Dreamer rolls around in pain. Taz throws the chair out of the ring to the floor. He pulls Dreamer up. He stands him up and T-Bone Suplexs him. He rolls to his feet and picks the ladder up. *
Styles: So about that substitute?
*He stands the ladder before throwing down onto Dreamers ribs, the crowd ooh. He goes to the other side and picks up and slams down the ladder a few times. The crowd oohing with each one. He pushes the ladder away and covers him for a two count. The crowd pop when Dreamer kicks out. He says “
” and then stands up and pushes the table out of the ring. Dreamer slowly starts to crawl towards the other chair. Taz grabs him by the waistband of his pants and pulls him to his knees. Dreamer throws his elbow back into Tazs ribs a few and quickly gets to his feet and hits him with an Ace Crusher. He rolls Taz onto his back and covers for a two and a half count. *Styles: Tommy Dreamer was mere seconds away from earning another two points.
*He rolls into a seated position catching his breath before pulling himself up, using the ropes. He has his back turned to Taz. The crowd pops when Taz rolls right up and crosses his arms. Dreamer turns around and jumps a little. The two stare down before Dreamer goes for a punch but Taz ducks it and hits the ropes hitting Dreamer with an Angry Mans Clothesline. Dreamer rolls right back onto his feet. Taz hits the ropes again and hits another Clothesline. Dreamer slowly rolls back to his feet. Taz tries for another Clothesline but Dreamer ducks and locks Taz in The Tazmission, the crowd pop huge. *
Styles: He's got Taz locked in his own submission move! Could he actually make Taz tap to his own hold?!
*Taz struggles towards the ropes. After a minute or so, Dreamer puts a leg around his waist trying to pull him to the mat. Taz uses his free arm to pick up Dreamers other and runs and he jumps, trying in mid-air and drives Dreamer and himself through the table in the corner. The crowd pop huger then before. *
Styles: …Oh my God!
*The ref checks on both men. After a few seconds, Taz rolls to the side and slowly pulls himself using the ropes. He drags Dreamer away from the corner and covers him for the three. The crowd cheer as he's announced as the winner. *
Styles: Taz has earned another two points but more importantly, can we get a medic to check on Tommy please?!
*Taz poses in the ring as Joey Styles throws to the end of the show and thanks the fans for tuning in. Taz leans against the ropes with his head down on his forearms as the show ends. *
