I loved the draft last night still buzzing now and can't wait for what happens next!... but just scrolling through to see the reaction and some are absolutely embraressing
Spoilt kids, Seriously are you incapable of 'letting things play out' just be patient ? The world isn't ending tomorrow, we want stuff to make us watch every week... Not everything needs to happen in 1 night, for example there obviously gonna sort the titles out but let's see what happens at battleground first
And just because your favourites were drafted below people you think the whole thing sucked ? So what ? Big show is a legend to most people he's a known wrestler it makes sense for him to go high...same could of been said for Kane but he went low, where as Finn balor probably Unknown to a portion of fans went high.. So it evens itself out...Tom Brady was a 6th round draft pick... It's not about where your drafted it's about what you do next
Also splitting up teams, and ? Makes it more exciting, we needed a fresh start, a new beginning, let's see where it goes, what people do next... not just things carry on the same which most people complain about anyway
I really don't understand why people can't just be patient and enjoy watching things play out, imagine if Star Wars or Lord of the rings was all crammed into 1 movie ? Haha
I cannot wait for Sunday Monday and Tuesday now! So excited to see what happens next. It's making me want to tune in which is what makes a good show!

Yeah I agree! I loved it. I watched it on TV and had draft central on my iPad and it was incredible haha It felt real and legit last night, the superstar interviews were shoots? and it definitely feels like there starting again, and i can't wait to see what happens next. I have PATIENCE so I'm cool to watch it play out, so exciting!!!
Anyone who's moaning needs to just leave wrestling for good, if you found a way to complain about last night I really don't get what you're doing here anymore haha

I agree. I'm still antsy to see potential new stages. I have a feeling the whole presentation will be new from the ground up. Smackdown will be the little engine that could. They had some really amazing late draft picks that will benefit huge from this. Alexa Bliss, Zack Ryder, The Ascension, Carmella and Apollo Crews are ones to look out for. This brand split will make huge stars out of some who were accused of "floating into obscurity". Titles will be born. I'm almost certain.

Having patience is good, but they failed to write halfway decent shows with all the talent as one big roster.
I'm holding out hope tho

I'm holding out hope tho Well now there competiting and trying to out do each other you've gotta expect better shows but it wont happen over night, so patience is a must really, I'm guessing one reason for the draft was for that exact reason that the shows weren't great and they needed something fresh and exciting to get it going, gotta give them credit because they could easily of played it safe and continued doing what they were doing and just found a way to survive as they were but they wanna get ratings up and wanna try and get it booming again

I think shrinking the rosters actually helps the writing. It gives the writers less people to find a purpose for. They aren't forcing guys into spots just to have them work and they can focus more on guys they have on their respective brands.
That being said I think there were some definite missteps in the draft. - How does Big Show get drafted in the top 30? He's barely ever there and he's basically irrelevant at this point in his career. - How does Mojo Rawley get drafted at all? He's awful and doesn't even belong in NXT. - Nia Jax shouldn't have been drafted. I don't see her being ready for the main roster. - I don't see the point of separating Strowman from the Wyatts. If you're gonna split anyone from that group it should be Bray. Strowman isn't ready to be out on his own. - Kalisto should have been on RAW. With RAW having the cruiser weight division, how do they not see big money in Kalisto. - Not a huge fan of breaking up the Club this soon. Putting them with Balor now would be dumb and make them look like they always need a leader. - If the rule was that only 6 NXT acts could be drafted, how does Eva Marie get drafted? She's the 7th NXT act.

I trust triple h haha and she's unique and might be better in the watered downed WWE than the more competitive NXT high quality women's division... How do you know the club Will be with balor ? How do you know stroman can't go at it alone? They might re package him now he's on his own for example ...You have to give it a chance to see With Kalisto, well maybe they do see big money in him and wanna make him a main star on Smackdown (like rey mysterio) instead of just being another cruiserweight on raw ? Big show, well he's still a big star in wrestling, probably should of gone lower but maybe he's gonna be back full time now ? If he is and used properly he can still be an important star on raw Eva Marie, probably considered both as she's been on WWE and NXT, only a minor thing Mojo, could put him with Ryder on Smackdown to reform the hype bros, but he had nothing left to do in NXT so just probably called up as a low card guy, you can't just have a roster full of main eventers I don't expect people to be positive and happy about every thing WWE does, but just be open, have some patience and give this fresh start a chance, and I promise you will actually enjoy the show way more than if you go in negative before anythings even happened haha

Last night a lot of people were being overly negative. IMOA there were draft picks that did not make sense. The only one I'm not willing to accept was Carmella being drafted to a brand opposite of Enzo and Big Cass. Even though some people drafted on RAW are better off on Smackdown, i want to see what happens next before i completely crap on it

Going with the "just be patient" response huh? Never heard that one before...
The draft itself was a terrible show. The post show from 10-11pm was even more painful. Are there some intriguing scenarios? Yes, mostly on Smackdown. That doesn't change the fact that the draft felt like it was sorted out 10 minutes before it happened. Which, judging by everything we've heard about WWE and the creative process, is probably how it went down.

He could be THE cruiser weight. His US title run was a dud so why go there again so soon? Doing the Hype Bros is basically a demotion for Ryder. Rawley has nothing left to do in NXT because he's 1 dimensional and he's not good. I just find him extremely annoying. I'm all for waiting for things to play out but I've also been watching 25 years, and especially in the last few years WWE has been really lacking creatively. If they do have plans for all these guys they have already failed to lay the foundation to make it work. It's already an uphill battle.

The only one I'm not willing to accept was Carmella being drafted to a brand opposite of Enzo and Big Cass. Even though some people drafted on RAW are better off on Smackdown, i want to see what happens next before i completely crap on it Yeah carmella was a weird one but who knows she might play a heel for example so wouldn't fit with Enzo and cass. She's been ok on her own in NXT so Gotta wait to see what happens But yeah, the whole point of this was to mix it up and a fresh start, if they went with 'predictable picks that make sense' then it just seems fake and your gonna get bored and maybe they had to leave some better stars for the later rounds to make you keep watching I guess hahaha maybe... but No ones complaining about the balor pick but would you really pick him above Cena ?! No but it was cool and exciting... you keep everything the same all the teams the same all the rivalries the same then what's the point of the draft really it would just be like raw part 1 raw part 2 And IMO You can't really start again if everything is the same as the week before. And most the people complaining will complain either way, they just seem to think hating on WWE makes them a better fan, because there not a sheep like the rest of us or whatever Hahaha I don't get it I wanna be positive and give it a chance because I love WWE!!!

What's wrong with being patient, if you've heard it before then maybe you need to start listening to it haha could the show of been better yeah course, probably should of just been a standalone draft show without matches getting in the way but it's done now and the rosters are set so that's ultimately all what matters. But you can't build a brand without patience the same way you can't build a star without patience... NXT wasn't what it is now at first... but today's fanbase just needs instant success or it sucks, they can't wait for anything which actually effects WWE because they rush stuff instead of letting things grow

Carmella has been floating on her own in NXT without Enzo and Cass. It's one thing to draft Alexa Bliss without Blake and Murphy, primarily because she was the only reason BAMF was any good and has an identity without them, but Carmella without Enzo and Cass is just Bayley's best friend who can't win a match. Carmella adds to the Enzo and Cass dynamic, and she can certainly go her own way down the road.
Honestly, how many times do we have to see teams and stables split apart and fail, either to be less entertaining or all out released, before people get the hint.

Three hours Raws were nearly impossible to sit through before. So now that guys like Ambrose, Styles, and Cena are gone I don't know how they'll pull it off. Well your not forced to sit through it haha I agree it will be tough tho but with the bigger roster than Smackdown and cruiserweight division coming, and guys like cesaro, Owens and Zayn ready to step up a level and as Charlotte was drafted high maybe women getting a bigger role on the show I'm excited for RAW

If love WWE... always have, always will. But I didn't like the brand-split much the first time - and I don't think I'm going to like it this time.
I'll give it a chance though.

Which, judging by everything we've heard about WWE and the creative process, is probably how it went down. Yep. There's a difference between being patient and being naive. It would be naive to say WWE had Smackdown's best interest in mind last night. They had Stephanie McMahon and Raw in mind, the way they always have and always will. It's hard to be patient when we have years and years and dozens upon dozens of examples of WWE failing to write competent shows with or without the split. It would've been one thing if the draft came off positively, but it didn't. It played out, like punksnotdead said, like they wrote it ten minutes before they went to air and started to panic the moment Smackdown got anything remotely resembling an edge. The balance of power was shifted before they even began. It was a piss poor show that proved a lot of people on this board, and elsewhere, right. If people need any clarification regarding Smackdown's firmly rooted status as the B-Show, look no further than House Show line ups. John Cena doesn't work house shows anymore, save the special events like MSG. Randy Orton has had a limited house show schedule for years, and that's unlikely to change. You have Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles up against Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Rusev, and all the attraction the women's division has to offer.

He didnt need to be repackaged before the draft he as just a Wyatt, there's no rush is there he's not needed as a top star on raw straight away Nia has worked with asuka and Bayley, And played the monster heel well for me so I'll give her a chance I agree I would of liked Kalisto as the star of the cruiserweights but maybe they see him as a bigger star than that division I don't know we'll have to wait and see. if he's in main events/ upper mid card feuds then yeah he could be like rey mysterio on Smackdown, if he's in low and mid card then he's on the wrong brand, be we don't know yet! Well Im not a huge mojo fan but he was a late pick and probably just a low card guy, if he sucks then he will just be on main event or whatever They don't need to lay foundations imo, it's a new start next week, that's how I'm seeing it anyway, so they can start building from then, this is the point you don't need stuff to happen immediately just let it play out then judge, it's not really a new start if everything is the same and already laid out People seem to think they know what's gonna happen and know things will suck before they've even happened haha I don't get it
