I complain that they don't make enough attitude era figures ? What's wrong with that? I like the attitude era and I want more figures from it? When they release people I don't want I'll complain.Your life must really suck if you have nothing better to do than complain about people complaining But I guess your another one of those laid back chilled out loving life everything's cool man I complain about nothing type wankers. Other than a small handful of wrestlers I am not a fan of the attitude era, but when they release tnem I don't complain about it because I know there are those who want them. But to complain because they are making figures others like comes off as pretty selfish. If I had my way it would mainly be all 80's - mid 90's WWE and mid 80's NWA - '98 WCW with a few attitude era guys mixed in. But I know I am not their only customer so if they make a bunch of wrestlers I want great if not that is fine also. I will get the ones that interest me. well I don't care what other people want. I don't collect for other People I collect for myself. If I see a figure like tugboat released im gonna complain because that could of been an attitude Era flashback figure instead. What's wrong with that? It's just toys and I want what I want... Is not like I'm saying Ahhh aslong as I have water and food I don't care about poverty countries... Now That would be selfish.... Wanting to improve my TOY collection is harmless complaining, which I'm entitled too as i pay money to this company. I have no problem with people complaining at all, even if someone complained against attitude era figures I'd respect that. So please don't call me selfish when you know nothing about me as a human being. |

I actually tried to suggest a better way I make voting polls and maybe if we stop bashing people whos job is to produce cool eactionfigures maybe they may actually fight for certain figures to be made. Instead of i hate Mattel, liars, terrible hope they get fired ect. Hate

Oh, and I complain, because I don't suffer fools gladly, I'm not willing to accept that the same products can decline significantly in quality for the same or higher price, and I'm not going to be MUGGED in pursuit of one of my many hobbies.

We can go overboard big time on complaints to the point of attacking Bill personally (Since Bill is the only name we know to hurl those insults at). It's childish and stupid. But actually voicing concerns about the quality of a product is a way yo generate conversation.
This board seems to be two types of people. People who defend complaints and people who don't. And we never convince each other to change each other's minds, so a thread like this isn't useful. When we stop talking about figures and make things personal, that is where the problem lies. Want to talk about personal things? PM, Lounge, and Banter are all open.

Why shouldn't people complain if they're not happy with a product though? Are wrestling figures suddenly immune to criticism and should only ever be heaped with praise? "They're only plastic toys" or "they're only $20" is such a weak argument... at the moment, I buy all the Elite figures - which, at around £18 each and 7 sets per-year, works out at £756 ( about $1000 USD). And that's NOT counting all the other figures I buy too (like RSC exclusives, the HOF series and various Basics and Battlepacks). So... if I'm not happy with a figure or its' quality, can't I say so? It doesn't happen very often and I know Mattel and Bill try their best, but - just as I'm allowed to heap praise on the great figures - l think I should be able to say if something's poor or sub-standard. Especially on a freaking forum all about... wrestling figures. It's just toys why wouldn't I want what I want? It's not hurtful or vicious complaining it's just annoyance when I don't see the era of figures I want. I'm not angry or aggressive towards people getting what they want, I just complain that there's not more of the ones I want, which is perfectly acceptable. So F-U man. We should not take note of other people. But given that we are part of a mini community of sorts, it can be grating. Especially when you see some of the collections and you know how much time and money were put it. I know a few guys on here, 2 work for finance firms and 1 is a villa fan :-p. so...diverse!!! And no sorry @ingram, already lack room hence the figure sell off, the spare room is for make up and hair!!! Some people really get b*tthurt over figures. I dont have a problem with criticism but some take it to heart and start offending other people. Nobody knows how anybody lives on this forum unless you know them personally. As for Bill I think is very cool of him to even come to the boards and interact when he doesnt have to.
