I can't see how an HBK/Warrior match would've been any good. Warrior would've been gassed by the time the match started and Michaels would've mostly been wrestling himself.

That would've been horrible.
A guy who can't wrestle his way out of a wet paper sack and who would've been gassed from his entrance alone
Vs
A guy who was tough to deal with at the time but was an exceptional wrestler and needed a good dance partner
Ultimate Warrior was never a good dance partner

Warrior vs HBK sounds atrocious exactly what I was thinking. I'm not exactly the biggest HBK guy, but Warrior could never match what Shawn could bring to the ring. Shawn would have to lower himself and still carry most of the load. |

Warrior really didn't do much in that 96 run. Beat Triple H at Mania, beat Yankem on Raw, had that weird match with Goldust at IYH in April, beat Owen Hart at the MSG "Kliq Farewell" show, beat The King at King of the Ring, and wrestled Owen Hart on Raw before leaving the company again. I really don't know why Warrior even agreed to come back for that run. Oh hbkbigdaddycool, didn't you know?
