DM "Ultimate Maniacs" Ultimate Warrior ?! I picked it up today, actually surprised that my Wal-Mart even had anything past DM Undertaker, but they had 3 of them. The other 2 paint apps were awful, so I carefully looked over this one and decided to buy it. I wasn't really that big on it at first, but after getting it in hand and seeing it in person, it's pretty freaking sweet ! However, it IS stupid that the matching Savage isn't a DM to display them together, but what can you do. Here are some pics of mine : While I wish that it wasn't a DM, it's still a niche figure that's pretty well done. Glad I added it to the collection. Thanks for looking and may your wallets be as sad as mine, after seeing what Mattel has already revealed so far, at this years SDCC ! Happy collecting 🤑

I think it's a great figure, I don't get the hate.

It's an awesome figure... BUT I think the hate is because it shouldn't really be in the DM line - it doesn't really warrant the extra money and the look isn't really an iconic Warrior look. Add to that, that the Ultimate Maniacs Savage is in the standard Elite line (with different packaging) - and you can see why some people aren't too happy.

It doesn't warrant the DM price. Plus the attire isn't very iconic at all.

Also, it's essentially a repaint of a figure that clogged shelves -- and still does to this day at Kmarts.

I just hate that we keep getting Warriors, Cenas and Savages and no Hogan for obvious reasons but I still hate it.

I think they did a great job on it. But I just wasn't a fan of Warrior in singlets.

What can you do? Geez i don't know, maybe Mattel could've made them both flashbacks or both DM's Dunno, simple solution. No one has said the figure is bad, the DM price and lack of accessories is what everyone was upset about

Mostly its placement in the DM line -- it isn't a Defining Moment of his career, and it's very iffy at the price point considering the lack of accessories.

I mean I understand all that about the price point and everything, but I'm talking about just the figure itself.
I know it is'nt the most iconic attire ever and certainly doesn't justify the price point or honestly be considered a defining moment, but I think it's pretty damn sweet.

No hate from me, it's already released there is nothing any of us can do about it. Once I see it in person I'm sure I'll love it.

I think it looks great, but agree on the lack of accessories needed as compared to Savage.

There's nothing wrong with the figure itself. The reason I dislike it is because I was never a fan of Warrior's singlets. Still - it could've been worse - it could've been the "naked" singlet.

Great figure... Great get.... and I don't think it should have been in the DM line but it's still an amazing figure

Figure is awesome and I picked it up a few weeks ago but a pair of glasses doesnt warrant the DM price. Also some of the hate stems from: the packaging doesnt match Savages, no accessories (standard elites come with way more) and it isnt a defining moment in either of their careers. They had 1 match on a pay per view warm up show and Warrior didnt even make it to Survivor Series and had to be replaced by Mr Perfect.

Love the figure. Just picked it up on Thursday. Only thing that bugs me is the painted torso. The singlet has such an intricate design, sunglasses have a good design, new arm bands and wrist guards, seems like people think the budget for that comes outta no where. Either way I can't wait for Macho so I can display them together.

It's a really awesome figure. And one I've wanted for a long time. I don't care what box it came in, although that looks sweet too, I don't care how much i had to pay to get it, I'm just glad I could. However, I am disappointed it's in a different box to Randy and the SLIGHTLY different tone on the torso, 2 super small complaints as I got a good one, looks like you did too, and I'll be displaying him and Randy loose with Mean Gene so stuff the box.

It's not that it's a bad figure it's just that this was definitely not a "defining moment" in his career. Also, sunglasses as an accessory doesn't justify a close to $30 price tag after sales tax.
I would've been on the fence about buying this if it was a regular Elite but it's an easy pass as a DM.
I think some better choices would've been a battle damaged WM 6 Warrior with 2 belts , a WWE 96 Comeback with long duster or a WCW OWN Warrior with long duster.

Its a great figure. the hate i dont think is for the figure itself. its perfectly detailed and very cool looking. its the fact you paid $24.99 + tax for an ultimate warrior with a tiny pair of sunglasses
look at the new elite Finn Balor and tell me there isn't more "paint detail" on that than on the DM Warrior. Hell the Elite 16 Warrior had more paint detail and those are regular elite line figures. It was just a poor choice for a Defining Moment
