I thought I would get some feedback here.
I have a LOT of old wrestling t-shirts, dating back to 1997. Most of which no longer fit (& no, I won't give them to you.)
I've been told I'm impossible to buy gifts for. But my sister came up with the idea of turning my old shirts into one of those T-Shirt quilts for my birthday. I like the idea & it would put them to use. But there's a part of me that feels sick to my stomach to cut these shirts up.
Thoughts? Opinions?

You cant wear them.... and you obviously don't want to get rid of them. You'll be putting them to good use.

I'd want the wrestling shirt quilt, that would be a great use for them.

Eh, I'm not into the quilt idea. Why not just keep the shirts? They're not hurting anything.

I seen those quilts. Guy had one done of all of his old Slayer shirts. It looked cool, but the quality's not the best. If you're planning on hanging the quilt for deco, go for it. For actual warmth use? Pass on it. Or if you know anyone who can sew, ask them to cut out the front/backs of the shirts for a tapestry collage that you can hang up when complete.

Instead of cutting them up, maybe a size swap with someone that has your size, would be good...if you still want to wear any. Other than that, maybe a youtube giveaway (if you have a channel) or do a make a wish kind of thing with them. VPV

My girlfriend is in the process of doing this now with a lot of my old band/whatever tshirts. Its a great idea. Hold onto something you cant get rid of, but giving it a use instead of being packed away. Had too many shirts so shes making two Heres the begining of her process working on a layout. Id say do it
