After watching the video they mention these won't be out until 2017. I find that so hard to believe based off the simplicity of the figures.. and to be walmart exclusives it's almost mind boggling. These will be hot items and they're being treated like those molded t shirt figures. Is it possible to push a release date closer based off the demand of the figure? If enough people made noise, think we could get them before christmas?

Lol as true as that is. Theyre missing out on a huge profit.. so many random people will buy these just because their kid likes wrestling and they don't know any better. It would fly off the shelves. More so than any other date. And as perfect as these are, they don't need six more months of production stages. Unless someone can elaborate on why it takes so long for this.

Really wish these weren't Walmart exclusives... they deserve a full release!

Probably by the time they do these and set the factories up to make them and all it's the soonest.

The problem with Walmart exclusives is that they appear so sporadically, and randomly, or not at all.....
There are four Walmarts within a reasonable driving distance to me, and they've all gotten the exclusive figures at different times, and in different amounts - some never got them at all..... I only saw the Paul Bearer figures at one of them, and never saw the Neville - so I never even had a real shot at building Paul Bearer (at that point I chose not to try).
I at least wish it was a Target exclusive so we could use the Tracking website, which I find very helpful..... I don't especially enjoy driving around endlessly checking Walmarts & finding stock from 2015 still clogging up the shelves.
If they're going to do exclusives, they should make them available through the retailers websites. That rarely seems to happen, and if it does they sell out quickly.

Wal-Mart has the TNF series, the BAF line, and now the Hasbro line on top of stocking regular elites, basics, DMs, battlepacks, create a superstars, rings, belts, etc. All of their exclusives can not come out at once. There is only so much shelf space they can use for WWE toys.

Any word on the carding for these? If they make the carding like the old hasbro carding I'll be getting 2 of each, I'm hoping for a $7.99 price point

I think these will bring the little kids back to wrestling even more, fair priced they will out sell the mattels basic and elites, these will be in more demand then anything else mattel makes. getting them before Christmas would be awesome.

i really hope it is retro packaging too, with the body shaped blister packaging like hasbro did, its a shame they will be walmart exclusives but lets hope that is just for the first series, there are huge possibilities for this line, i am really looking forward to the release (hate that it is next year though)

Watching old content on youtube and the network you see kids all the time with LJN and Hasbro figures in the audience. Has anyone ever seen a child in the crowd holding a Jakks or Mattel figure of their favorite wrestler?

This is definitely the most anticipated figure line Mattel has released, in my opinion. I just hope Mattel doesn't drop the ball with this one. These can blow up so big.
