How did Playmates get the WWE license even if this is more of a TMNT line?

How did Playmates get the WWE license even if this is more of a TMNT line? Probably the same way Bandai Tamashii Nations or Funko acquired the rights to make their figures.

Maybe just me, but I just don't see the appeal in these, even being a TMNT and WWE fan...

I just realized no April is listed. Who should it be? Becky Lynch maybe?

I'm shocked that no pics of these have leaked. Someone has to have sneaked a picture.

When I first started collecting and only had 4 figures I used to use TMNT figs as a 4 person stable of vigilantes with my WWE collection, and I like TMNT & WWE so I'm excited to see these.
Also with them being released in November I will be able to give my dad a great Christmas gift as his favorite turtle is Donatello and his favorite WWE star is Undertaker and I think he will love the crossover of them.

They will be available at Wal-Mart first in November 2016, then everywhere else in Spring 2017.

As someone who collects both WWE Mattel and the TMNT toys this is a dream come true. Though, those who also collect TMNT via Playmates know that the protos are usually much, much more detailed than the final product, so I assume they're giving up articulation for better painting. Regardless, I'll buy all four and any others they make because I buy pretty much all of the new TMNT figures they put out there for me.
For fans of TMNT12- The Wyatt Family Dream Beavers would be stuff of legends for me.
Also, I have to wait until Q2 next year for Muckman?? LAME.

True. No matter how good the protos look they will likely be missing details in the paint in the final product. It's sad really. Playmates was ahead of pretty much every company with the original Turtles series. Yeah, they were missing a lot of paint apps on the final figures, but their sculpting detail was insane. Now, they look like glorified Happy Meal toys.
