When (if ever) do you think we'll start to see American Alpha towels for sale? Cena's "never give up" towel banner thing is on wwe shop, so It looks like they're no stranger to making towels. Thought it'd be a cool item to bring to the basketball court or the gym..or something. Am i the only person that would buy this?? lol

Give it time. I am sure the "Ready Willing Gable" type towels will be out once they connect with the WWE Universe.
I am sure Vince just wants to make sure the fans take to them. Even though the NXT fans did, I am sure Vince is still disgruntle about NXT talent coming up to the WWE world and getting over with that crowd.

Vince is not a dummy, he's probably stoked about the quality of stars that his developmental territory is producing especially the ones that didn't necessarily have indie experience. He's clearly over the moon with Finn Balor. The deeper and better his roster the deeper his pockets.

But guys like Adam Rose and Tyler Breeze were mega over in NXT, and once they came up to the main roster were not well received by the fans. So I can understand Vince being hesitant when new stars from NXT come up to the main roster in case they do flop.

I'm sure the marketing department already has something cooked up.

What I don't understand is that NXT fans are WWE fans so if you go to an NXT show and cheer for a guy why give the same guy a silent reaction when they're on a WWE show? Take Baron Corbin for example he got a huge pop when he won the Andre battle royal at WM32 but now he enters to a silence arena.

When he does the arm thing to that part of his theme song, and the NXT crowd would all join in. But on Raw, about 50% of the audience did it. I noticed a lot of fans just standing or sitting during his entrance. Maybe some fans really don't watch NXT. I guess it is possible that they only watch Raw or Smackdown.

Rose had the videos, but once he debuted you mostly got JBL complaining, especially with the bunny. Very little of what was fun seemed to transfer over in how they presented it. Breeze was brought in with little fanfare and after one short feud and a couple of good matches was relegated to the background and C shows. Guys won't do as well on the main roster if not given the same chance to shine. I'm just hoping Breeze's teaming with Fandango will work out in his favor. Somebody apparently sees something in them as they're getting more screen time, and not just in comedy bits.

I honestly though the crowd would go crazy for Balor and I was disappointed myself when hardly anyone did his arm pose. It would've been awesome to see the entire Raw audience do it. I remember last April I went to a UK WWE live event and Finn Balor was in the opening match. I didn't really watch NXT at the time and had no idea who he was but his entrance was dead and I don't think he even got a reaction from the crowd. Then last month I was at the NXT UK tour and at that Balor recieved a Stone Cold style reaction. It's confusing because it seems that most people don't watch NXT but at the same time the entire Raw audience knew Enzo and Cass's catchphrases.

Val Venis protested towel sales heavily, leading to a boycott of WWF-themed towels. This of course opened up a huge black market for unlicensed WWF towels. This lead to.

Because a large percentage of the people that attend NXT also watch Raw and Smackdown but a much smaller percentage of people that attend RAW and Smackdown watch NXT. It's why people thought Enzo and Cass weren't going to work on the main roster, it's why I'm pretty sure the Vaudevillains are gonna flop on the main roster and it's the reason the Ascension flopped on the main roster. For some reason what translates to a smaller audience doesn't necessarily translate well to the bigger crowds. If your someone like Balor though there's nothing stopping you from climbing to the top it's just a matter of when. Breeze is a weird one, I thought he'd be huge or at least Ziggler level.

Ascension flopped because they changed pretty much everything about them and made it known that they were a Road Warriors ripoff. Vaudevillains looked like they were catching on around Money In The Bank time. Bálor will be fine.

I'm surprised these weren't released whilst they were still in NXT. Also I wonder if WWE release Cesaro arm sleeves similar to Finn's Demon arm sleeves.

I get so frustrated when people don't watch NXT, or at the very least, take the time to check out who people are.
Finn Balor was drafted in the first round last week. That's a big deal. His name was called before Orton, Cena, Lesnar and Reigns. Why has a large portion of that Raw audience not googled him. There's no excuse anymore, we aren't living in the days when a tape needed to be sent in the post for you to get to know a new guy, you can youtube him on the phone in your pocket.

Who says Vince is going to let Gable use the towel on SmackDown? Wouldn't shock me in the least to see him say "John Cena has a similar towel gimmick in his entrance on this very show - that's gotta go".

this really boils down to gimmicks.
Adam Rose's party animal/lemon shtick is nice with a small audience where his entourage looks like a big massive party, but it's very awkward in an audience of thousands to see a dozen people jamming down the ramp. Likwise Tyler's selfie-stick gimmick suffers from being dated. Honestly how many people you see today walking around with selfie sticks really? It is a fad and it goes away. Narcissist Lex Luger had the original selfie stick.
I don't blame people for not watching NXT. Between RAW and SD alone that's 5 hours of wrestling a week, not to mention Main Event and Experience, and then there's this little thing called the WWE Network. Add on Lucha Underground and ROH with weekly televised shows (oops forgot about TNA!) and we really do have a glut of shows in any given week. I love NXT, but I can definitely see why the casual WWE Universe fan wouldn't care.

like other people said NXT's fan base is smaller its more for die hard fans, casual fans probably dont have the network thus dont watch NXT theres a load of people in the audience who are there beacuse theyve taken their childern to the show or a friend has taken them people who dont watch NXT, and the kids wont have watched NXT. I think its a good idea to debut NXT guy in "wrestling cities" the smark audiences that do know NXT and recognise the talent, so next week people know their deal know what to chant and when etc.
Soon as Jordan and Gable are over with the audience, which I dont think is gonna be a problem for them at all, there probably will be a towel and t-shirts etc
