Mattel's WWE reveals for 2016 have been absolutely amazing.
But with all the exclusives and sublines (TNF, Network Spotlights, HOF, waves having A and B, waves with .5).....Its going to be tough keeping up with my collection as someone who lives outside America.

Now I'm starting to notice those new elbows on a ton of my newer basic figs. Didn't even realize BP D-Von had them til just now. Damn Those new elbows seem hazardous to children. Not only because they are really pointy and jagged, but because they will cause pinching on playing kids fingers. Parents are gonna be complaining like crazy about these. Better just switch them back before it's too late :/ Will someone please think of the children?!! The new elbows are here to stay because Mattel is looking for ways to save money and keep things within budget. It is less about keeping kids safe and more about being displease with the change up. The Create A Superstar series is where things are heading. Better start praying for elites keeping the ab crunch. |

Will Alexa still include her hand jewelry?
Will The Ascension have WWE Superstars packaging since that's the only show they've been relevant on in 2016?

I'll be getting Team Madness Macho Man for sure. I'm loving the new head scan for sure. Kane and Pillman aren't definite pick ups but I'll most likely pick them up on impulse when they hit retail. The Ascension looks cool and I'll probably get them at retail too. I'm happy they put them in their updated ring gear color combo.

Wonder what the TNF 2 combos will be, I guess; Macho/Adam Rose, Zayn/Sabu, Earthquake/Big Show, Typhoon/Sin Cara. /jokepost I really don't have much to say besides, they great and I hope to plastic god retail makes room for all this stuff, I know Walmart's gonna be ecstatic with the sales the TNF elites and New Age Hasbros bring in. I'm glad Mattel's really honing in on the "must buy" figures from what we've seen at SDCC and STC, could use a bit more Surfer Sting though. Also, I'm just kidding, but to me Sami looks like Robert DeNiro and Pillman looks like rock n' roll Rick Moranis and The Ascension look even more like Buzz and Woody(*whispers* why didn't Ryback ever get that torsooooo.._) |
