I get pretty sad thinking Hot Rod is gone. I've been obsessed with wrestling my whole life, so he was a huge part of my life. Even though he was a heel and I was only 2 in 85, I'd run around the house saying roddy roddy(I thought that was his name lol). I lost my mom a few months after he passed, she was pretty upset when she heard the news about him passing. So she went online and paid ridiculous prices for his figs, not knowing any better. I've attached a pic of Hot Rod and I eating Wendy's at midnight after a night of shenanigans. One of the best weekends of my life! So lucky to of been able to spend real time with him.

Cant believe its been that long already. Truly one of a kind and left a massive mark in pro wrestling. From the interviews, the angles and fights. He could do it all!

Despite many memorable matches and angles (like the Flower Shop destruction), this is the segment that always comes to mind when I think about Roddy. Despite being the #1 villain in the WWE, especially in the eyes of pre-teens like me at the time, this skit had me rolling.

Always loved when Piper would called someone a ''Son of an unnamed goat''.
