To be honest, Reigns holding the US title may actually boost its values Also, as long as Reigns isn't being pushed down our throats as the top guy, I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be vying for the US title nah....Cena and Rollins had it....and then as soon as they didn't...ppl didn't care about the belt again maybe the brand split will help. Because having 2 mid card belts for the last couple years was pretty stupid |

Tonight feels like a bit of regression in terms of the positive changes made last week. We're also starting to see the depth issue show up a little bit the way it did on Smackdown.
Not really a fan of Reigns potentially taking the US title, either. Unless he's gonna do the open challenge thing or something. He's just too far gone as a babyface. He didn't necessarily need a demotion, he needed a turn.

pros- it keeps reigns from the main events cons- nothing because it keeps reigns from the main events pro - the match should be good con - Rusev, one of the best performers of the past year, is about to drop his title Reigns as a babyface is just not working and they're trying again |

We got a pro-Russian speech out of Rusev and Roman came out like the Communist Heel Superman, and all the stars aligned only for Vince to yell Face Roman, Hahaha FACE ROMAN, YEA SUPERMAN PUNCH!! Yeah yeah YEAHHHH PUNCH!!!
We could have just had a Duo of Rusev and Roman as a traitor.

There needs to be at least a SMALL chase by Reigns for that belt....that will make it more important and more tolerable.

Rusev needs to retain at least ONCE during this feud
and then I'm fine with Reigns taking that belt. it's supposed to be the 2nd most important thing on RAW now....remember the IC title is on Smackdown
so the US title isn't just a random chitty worthless belt anymore

Poor Rusev, man. First he gets the US Title only to get fed to Cena, now he's going to get fed to Roman. I'm not the biggest Rusev fan, but he deserves better. Agree. This doesn't boost the value of the title either IMO. It basically looks (kayfabe) like Reigns has said 'ah well, I'm not in the WWE championship match.. may as well go take the US title.' I disagree. A 3 time WWE Champ holding a mid-card belt boosts its prestige a lot. |
