still dont understand why people will bitch about Reigns beating Rusev but they want a 47 year old wrestler who hasn't been in the WWE since 2006 and had like 8 neck surgeries, and is CLEARLY past his "past his prime" years to beat Rusev for the US title because Angle was in the Olympics and stuff Because that segment was written for Angle. They just  ed with our emotions. Tbh even a promo between the 2 would be enough for me |

Sad but if they ran Reigns-Rusev in 2015 for Mania 31 hed probably be over as a babyface by now

Agree. This doesn't boost the value of the title either IMO. It basically looks (kayfabe) like Reigns has said 'ah well, I'm not in the WWE championship match.. may as well go take the US title.' I disagree. A 3 time WWE Champ holding a mid-card belt boosts its prestige a lot. Meh. Cena had it a few months back. People are smart enough to realise it's just transitional. What would boost the prestige of the title is a solid mid-card division of people vying for the title, good promos and high quality matches. Not Reigns stepping down to take it for a few months until he's out of the doghouse. |

Tonight feels like a bit of regression in terms of the positive changes made last week. We're also starting to see the depth issue show up a little bit the way it did on Smackdown. I feel the same way. In what ways are you seeing the regression? Feels a lot like the old format. Long opening promo leading into the opener (which filled a lot of time), a couple real quick matches, hour reset promo, more involvement from the GMs. Just feels a lot more like old Raw. It's not an outright bad show but they're starting to fall back on some of their old tricks. |

The promo tonight made people mad because everything Rusev said pointed to Kurt and then of all people Reigns comes out. Typical WWE trying to be clever. |

They just ed with our emotions. ok but again whats the end game? so Angle's music hits....half the crowd loses their chit, the internet blows up ZOMG ANGLE the rest of the crowd has no idea who he is because they werent even watching the WWE when he was around then he stares down Rusev and I guess we get a match at Summerslam then Angle wins so we have one of the guys who should be a cornerstone of the show. A solid heel built up properly and established. gets beat by a "legend" who hated the company for YEARS and is only back because payday and he has nothing better to do i loved Kurt Angle....during that era he was amazing. one of the all time greatest potentially but his time is just WAAAAAY passed beyond a "theme pop" |
