After a few years break I'm back (I lost my email etc so I have a new account). You could look at the older diaries like: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/262477/hulk-andre-bigger-badder-feudNote: Lex not winning the title at SummerSlam 1993 was seen one of the strangest finishes in WWF history. Just imagine a huge push and fans actually behind it...only to see no title change and the most ridiculous celebration of a count-out EVER? After this the momentum of the "Lex Express" started to fade. Some expected to see a title win at Wrestlemania X, but once again it didn't happen as Bret Hart was chosen to carry the company as the better choice.
We find out years later that the reason for the title not changing hands at SummerSlam was likely because some "Superstars" were threatening Vince that they would quit if it would happen. Others speculate it was the PPV buy (it was just fine based on what others have said, just not huge) or the reason for the weird finish is that Vince wanted to prolong the Lex-Yoko feud to Wrestlemania, though Lex Luger in a shoot mentioned that Vince told him months prior to Wrestlemania X that he won't be champion (Vince still tested the possibility before Wrestlemania).
Now what if Vince went ahead with the title win? What happens at Wrestlemania X and after? Let's take a look at an alternate history... Quick Backstory: After Yokozuna defeated Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship at King of the Ring '93, on July 4th, a bodyslam challenge took place where Lex Luger would fly in from a helicopter at the end of the event, push Bobby Heenan - his manager - aside (as he was the Narcissist character beforehand) and was able to bodyslam Yokozuna. Lex would become an instant babyface and travel on a bus called the "Lex Express" to campaign for a title shot. Lex was on several talk shows, you had thousands line up to meet him at a Toys R' Us...you get the picture. A title shot is offered for SummerSlam 1993 with the condition being that it's Lex's only title shot and he has to cover his so-called "steel-plated forearm".

Ludvig Borga def. PJ Walker (Justin Credible). Borga hits the diving elbow drop and the Torture Rack for the finish. King: Did you see how he finished him off like that? WWF Monday Night Raw Oct. 4th, 1993 New Haven, Connecticut Commentators: Vince McMahon, Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and Randy "Macho Man" Savage.Vince: Tonight we got a great show for you starting with the 20-man battle royal to determine who would win the WWF Intercontinental Championship. And for the main event, we have WWF Champion Lex Luger who will placing the title on the line against Rick Martel. 20-man Battle Royal Winner - Razor Ramon and New WWF Intercontinental ChampionMain event: Lex Luger vs. Rick Martel for the WWF Heavyweight Championship
Lex comes in to a huge pop and holds the title high. Rick Martel however quickly attacks Luger from behind who drops the belt as the ref takes it away. Luger is hurt as Martel capitalizes. Ludvig Borga walks out to some heat and walks around the ring shouting at fans as Vince complains as to what he's doing here. Martel takes advantage of Luger and throws him out of the ring. Borga stands in front of Lex who stands as Borga viciously attacks Luger with liver punches back and forth and takes off Lex's infamous armband (he continues to wear it from now). Randy says that he's angry at what is happening and somebody should stop this. The referee is near the ten count till Borga throws Luger back in the ring. Martel starts to kick Luger on the ground and has his hands high as though he is the victor to some heat. Lex slowly gets up and jumps towards Martel with his so-called "steel-plated" forearm. Martel is unconscious on the mat as Lex goes for the pin. At two Borga grabs a hold of the referee and takes him out of the ring and throws him to the railing. Lex gets angry as Borga runs into the ring and they brawl it out. Heenan says that both men are crazy and Vince calls for some officials to get into the ring. Babyfaces and heels make it out to the ring to stop both men. Borga doesn't care and attacks some of the faces and heels as a "tough anti-American". He runs out as Martel realizes what happens and gets angry. Winner: No ContestPost-match interview with Todd Pettengill: Todd: Unbelievable what has transpired here... [Ludvig walks in] Mr. Borga if you could give me a chance... Borga: I am sick of you Americans (pushes Todd aside)... Todd: Whoa please...(Borga leaves) Vince: This guy should be committed!

WWF Monday Night Raw Oct. 11th, 1993 New Haven, Connecticut Commentators: Vince McMahon, Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and Randy "Macho Man" Savage.
Vince starts off the show in the center of the ring with a mic and says he wishes to get some answers about the attack on Lex Luger [footage shown] and other superstars and the referee. He introduces Borga with much heat. Borga enters with an angry look. Vince: Ludvig Borga the world wants to know what was in your mind when you attacked a referee and attacked Lex Luger. Borga: What kind of question is that? You're just another dumb American. Everyone knows what I want, I want the World Championship. Vince: After what transpired at the main event, it seems me you have no friends left here in the World Wrestling Federation [fans continue to chant USA]. Borga: You all want to know what USA stands for? U Suck Alot (cheesy but gets some heat). Vince: Hey hey you should apologize to all these fans out here. Borga: Why should I apologize when I tell the truth? America is a filthy polluted country that is filled with garbage. Lex Luger should turn his Lex Express bus into a garbage truck and pick up trash if he wants to be an American hero. But he won't because he's garbage himself. Randy (on commentary): This guy is making me sick. Borga: (fans continue chanting USA) I have a question for you Mr. McMahon...Ever since Lex Luger has won the WWF Championship why has he only had one match? You people are giving him special treatment. Vince: Lex Luger has worked very hard to get here and he will defend the title at any time against anyone. Borga: So are you his mouthpiece? Let me tell you something Lex Luger (looks at the camera), let's be honest, you had just one match, one match enough to meet the rule books. You're a paper champion and nothing more. Lex Luger walks out to a big pop
Lex: Let me tell you something Ludvig Borga...I am sick of your anti-American tirade because when I look at you, I look at someone who is in the middle of this ring picking up a paycheck in the good old US of A (fans chant USA). Look at all these fans here, they are patriotic of their country. They have pride and respect it. Borga: You have to earn respect from where I come from. Lex: No one cares where you come from (gets a pop and USA chant). You're standing here in the United States of America, the greatest country in the world and you are standing in front of the World's Champion, the WWF Champion. You don't deserve a shot because in this country, you have to earn a shot. [fans chant USA loudly, Borga shakes his head, has a grin and quickly leaves ringside for the back as Vince and Lex look confused] Randy (on commentary): What in the world? Borga left, maybe he is a coward. [After commercial break Vince is on commentary] Randy: Don't you find it strange that Ludvig Borga left like that? Vince: It looks like he couldn't handle the pride of the American spirit. Heenan: Something is up with that guy, I just know it.

WWF Monday Night Raw Oct. 18th, 1993 Manhattan Center, New York City, New York Announcers: Vince McMahon, Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and Randy "Macho Man" Savage.
The show begins with Yokozuna, Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette entering the ring. Cornette says that Yokozuna was cheated out of the WWF Championship at SummerSlam and that Lex Luger should give Yokozuna a rematch. Ludvig Borga walks out to much heat and USA chants. Borga: Mr. Cornette, I came out here because there is no better challenger for the WWF title than me so I want you to help me get Lex Luger to sign a contract for a match. Cornette: Well if you want my services, if you want a guaranteed title shot than you need to prove yourself first. Borga: I want to prove my self right now. Cornette: If you want to prove it now challenge anyone in the back and I mean anyone and you have to win. It could be Bret Hart, Razor Ramon, Diesel or the camera guy anyone! Borga: Very well, then I challenge anyone tonight in the back anyone to a match. I don't care who it is. Anyone who thinks they can take me on [Yokozuna and Fuji walk out of the ring till Tatanka walks out to a huge pop, Borga looks concerned]. Vince (on commentary): Unbelievable! Tatanka has been undefeated for two years there is no way Ludvig Borga can win this one! Better luck next time (laughs)! Ludvig Borga vs. Tatanka in Singles CompetitionTatanka runs in the ring and starts to attack Borga, but Borga starts to punch back as they go at it. Tatanka runs to the ropes and hits a running chop till Borga runs out at ringside taunting the fans. He gets back in and Tatanka goes for the ropes but meets a massive clothesline from Borga and falls. Borga picks up Tatanka and goes for the Torture Rack. For a whole minute in Tatanka doesn't give up, Borga gets frustrated and drops him. He starts to kick Tatanka continously and drags his body to a corner as Yokozuna, Cornette and Mr. Fuji watch on at ringside. Borga looks to go for a spear to the corner and near impact, Tatanka gets out of the way for Borga to make impact on the ringpost. Tatanka whips Borga to the ropes and hits the Samoan drop for the pin to two. Tatanka is shocked that Borga kicked out of his finisher. Vince says it was too early. Tatanka starts to shout at Yokozuna who is at ringside, till Borga kicks Tatanka's back for him to fall outside. Borga distracts the referee till Yokozuna decides to hit a legdrop outside of the ring on Tatanka. Yokozuna grabs Tatanka and drops him in the ring. Tatanka struggles to get up as Borga does the Torture Rack a second time. With Tatanka unconcious and no response, the referee ends the match. Winner: Ludvig Borga via Submission Vince: I can't believe it! Randy: This is unbelievable! Heenan: Tatanka's undefeated streak is over! I knew it! I knew this guy was up to something and he proved tonight that he is the number one contender for the WWF Championship. Cornette congratulates Borga and they leave the ring together along with Yokozuna and Fuji.

WWF Monday Night Raw Nov. 1st, 1993 Manhattan Center, New York City, New York Announcers: Vince McMahon, Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and Randy "Macho Man" Savage.
WWF Superstars on October 30th, showed a match between Ludvig Borga vs. Tatanka with Borga winning by DQ. Highlights are shown on RAW. Jim Cornette makes his way out with Yokozuna and the Quebecers and gets on the mic.
Cornette: I would like all of you fans to pay attention because as I stand here with the 580 pound Yokozuna and the Tag Team Champions the Quebecers, we are ready for the upcoming Survivor Series to become the best team to survive. And now I would like to introduce to you the leader of this new team and the next World Wrestling Federation Champion, Ludvig Borga. Borga: (walks out to some heat and chants of USA) Thank you and since the all-American coward won't step in the ring with me for the championship, I ask you Lex Luger, do you have what it takes to challenge this alliance of the Anti-Americans? [Lex Luger walks out to a big pop] Luger: Well well, you got yourself some new friends. Well let me tell you something Ludvig Borga, if you have a problem with America, than I got some bad news for you because I've already assembled a team of All-Americans and I would like to bring them out... [Steiner Brothers music is played as Tatanka walks out with the tag team] Luger: So if you gotta a problem... Cornette: What I have is the best assembled Superstars from around the world, your team should be called the All-American losers I mean lets face it, the Steiner Brothers lost the WWF Tag Team championship and Tatanka lost his undefeated streak to the next World Champ (laughs), you call this a team? Luger: (gets in Cornette's face, but Ludvig pushes Cornette aside to get in Luger's face) So it settles it, the All-Americans take on your...Foreign Fanatics, because that's what you are a bunch of no good fanatics who don't deserve to be here in the greatest country... Ludvig attacks Luger, Tatanka goes after Yokozuna, Steiner Brothers attack the Quebecers as all they all go at it Randy: I don't believe this this is crazy! Heenan: Luger's the one who started this. Vince: Unbelievable, someone stop this madness! WWF Officials start to run in trying to hold everyone back, but Lex Luger and Ludvig Borga still manage to push everyone aside and attack each other.Randy: Enough of this (drops the mic and walks in the ring to a pop) Savage pushes Borga back and tells Lex to calm down. The Anti-Americans or "Foreign Fanatics" leave ringside as they talk trash to the All-Americans. Vince: Unbelievable! I can't believe we just saw such mayhem there is no question about it that Survivor Series is going to be chaotic! After a commercial break Randy Savage is still in the middle of the ring with two officials as the the All-Americans finally leave ring side with other officials, suddenly from the crowd Crush makes his return with a bit of a pop and walks down the steps, crosses the railings and enters the ring behind Randy. Randy looks behind him and is in shock and wants to shake Crush's hand, Crush suddenly attacks Randy and does the Cranium Crush on Randy.
Vince: What is going on! Why would Crush do this? His best friend! Why! Heenan: I have to say this is just wrong on so many levels, Crush has no business being out here. Vince: We'll get to the bottom of this all next week on Monday Night Raw! I can only imagine what the Survivor Series will be like!

WWF Monday Night Raw Nov. 8th, 1993 Manhattan Center, New York City, New York Announcers: Vince McMahon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan
[Highlights from last week] Vince: We would like to apologize that Randy Savage won't be on commentary tonight as he was viciously attacked last week by Crush. Tonight we have a great show for you as Ludvig Borga will be taking on Scott Steiner with Lex Luger on his side in singles competition.... Highlights shown again later in the show of Randy and Crush, Crush makes his way out to the ring and gets on the mic with Bobby Heenan after a commercial break.
Heenan: Welcome back Crush, we are glad you are cleared to compete, but the world wants to know why did you attack Randy Savage? Crush: You see months ago a so-called best friend told me to enter the bodyslam competition. I knew I could do it, I had the strength, but this friend knew I was sick that day and still forced me to do it. I nearly lifted Yokozuna, but couldn't do it. It humiliated me I should've been the one to slam him I mean look at me! To be fair Yokozuna as a great man he is gave me a title shot for the WWF Championship. Heenan: (smiles) Great man? Crush: let me continue...so what happened after that match? This best friend who was on ringside saw Yokozuna crushing my ribs to dust, 4 bonzai drops 4, injuring me to the point that my career was practically over and what did this friend do? Wait till I was just a carcass on the mat to make the save. And so I bought a ticket to see Monday Night RAW and guess what I saw? Heenan: What is that? Crush: (laughs) I saw Randy Savage get in the ring for Lex Luger who wasn't even in trouble. Lex Luger (laughs) give me a break, Lex has never been Randy's friend, Lex has never been there when Elizabeth left him (first time heard on WWF tv, it was only known through WWF magazine), Lex has never been there for anyone, I was Randy's best friend. I was there for everything until my eyes opened up to the truth last week. I finally saw it clearly for the first time. Randy is like everyone else, he makes friends who he sees benefits him, I mean who was there to congratulate Lex Luger on winning the WWF Championship? Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Well Randy you deserve more than what I did to you last week and as for you Lex Luger, you're a fluke, that's all you are. Heenan: Wow, I can't believe what I'm hearing, though I must say that Randy Savage still saved you from further bonzai drops and he wasn't just your best friend, but he was also your mentor. Crush: Mentor? You know what hurt the most? He didn't even wish me well! Didn't call, didn't send a letter or anything! Why? Cause he's only all in it for himself. Celebrating with Lex benefited him, because now he gets to be in the spotlight with a champion. Saving Lex benefited him, because the truth is that is what Randy wants. You think Randy wants to do commentary all his life? He just can't handle the New Generation. With the Hulk Hogans gone (note: Randy did a weird shoot on Hogan on RAW even this late in the year so using Hogan's name around this time is fine) and the Andre the Giants, the old generation is fading into history and I will be the one to finish it off after I'm done with Randy. So Macho Man...I want a match, you and me in the squared circle. The Old Generation vs. the New. Ludvig Borga vs. Scott Steiner (with Lex Luger) in Singles match.
Borga and Steiner go at it as Lex watches from ringside. Scott manages a frankensteiner during the match with a big pop and a pin to two. Scott whips Borga to a corner as Scott goes for a clothesline, Borga counters with a kick, swings Scott to the ropes and hits a gutbuster to the mat for the pin to two. Borga bodyslams Steiner and starts to talk trash to Lex. Lex laughs it out and calls for him to come out. Borga does and they both go at it at ringside. The referee counts Borga out. Winner: Scott Steiner via Countout.
Lex throws Borga in the ring and grabs a hold of his title belt. Scott holds Borga as Lex runs to the ropes to smash Borga with the belt for Borga to move for the belt making impact over Steiner's head. Borga hits a massive gorilla press gutbuster on Lex. He takes the WWF Championship belt and holds it up high as the night ends.

WWF Monday Night Raw Nov. 15th, 1993 Fernwood Resort, Bushkill, Pennsylvania Announcers: Vince McMahon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan. Special Guest announcer: Ludvig Borga
Vince: What a show we have for you tonight here on Monday Night RAW. Tonight we have the World Wrestling Federation title up for grabs as WWF Champion Lex Luger will be facing off against WWF Tag Team Champion Pierre of the Quebecers. Also we have Ludvig Borga who will be joining us for commentary during the match. But first Crush had this message to say to Macho Man Randy Savage and WWF Champion Lex Luger. Crush promo: "How does it feel Macho Man, when the New Generation of WWF Superstars are taking over. How does it feel to be betrayed, to be humiliated in the ring. Well this is a warning for you, if you get in my way you'll lose a lot more than your broadcasting job. And as for you Lex Luger, you may have won the bodyslam challenge, you may have won the WWF Championship, but you should meet me in the ring and I'll take it away from you."Main event: Lex Luger (c) vs. Pierre for the WWF Heavyweight Championship in Singles match
Ludvig Borga comes out first to some heat and USA chants, he sits beside Vince McMahon for commentary (with security guards behind them). Pierre comes out with the Quebec flag (without his belt) and swings it around in the ring as fans chant USA. Lex Luger comes out to a huge pop and with the American flag. They both swing it in the ring with USA chants exploding in the stadium and boos for the Quebec flag when it is swung. Pierre attacks Luger with the flag as the bell rings. Borga laughs about it. Borga: You silly Americans, can't you see how easy it is to pull a pearl harbor on you. Vince: Now be careful there, the United States of America would not tolerate that! Pierre continues to attack Lex. But Lex gets angry and lifts Pierre up and throws him to the corner. Vince: Look at the power of Lex Luger! Pierre tries to attack Luger but Lex punches him continuously as Pierre falls on the mat and gets up continously. Lex swings Pierre to the ropes and hits a flying forearm (it's padded) for the pin to two. Lex swings Pierre again who counters and has Lex in a front face lock. Lex lifts him and drops him to the corner. Luger goes for the old school ten punch from the top. Pierre falls flat on the mat for a pin at two. Borga gets up from his commentary booth to shout at Lex. Lex looks towards him and they talk trash. Pierre attacks Lex from behind and hits a piledriver for the pin to two. Pierre goes for a splash from the top rope but Lex moves and quickly manages a back body drop. He hits a powerslam for the pin to two. Lex goes for the forearm shot (he still has it padded) and knocks Pierre to the mat for the win. Winner: Lex Luger via Pinfall.Borga: Do you see how Luger cheats using that steel-plated forearm of his. Vince: Lex Luger still had the decency to use an armpad! Borga enters the ring as Lex is celebrating his title win. They are face to face till Yokozuna runs in and attacks Lex from behind. They drag Lex to a corner as Yokozuna is going to go for the bonzai drop but Tatanka makes his way out for the save. He attacks them both as Yokozuna and Borga leave the ring. Tatanka and Lex talk trash. Backstage footage is later shown with Tatanka on the floor unconscious outside of Lex Luger's locker room and he's bloodied up. Lex is going nuts. Officials try to help Tatanka. Lex starts screaming for Ludvig Borga asking several babyfaces where he is. Lex runs out of the area as a team of Paramedics are on the scene. Vince: What in the world is going on. Heenan: It must be the Foreign Fanatics. I have a feeling they were after Luger and wanted to finish him off, but instead attacked Tatanka. Vince: This just in from the dressing room, Tatanka's condition is stable, but he is badly injured it would seem. Heenan: What does this mean for Survivor Series? Vince: That remains to be seen! Stay tuned for the Survivor Series to find out!

Vince: Welcome to Survivor Series I'm your host Vince McMahon and with me is Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and tonight is going to be fulled with excitement! Heenan: That's right because tonight I got an order for a beautiful looking turkey for Thanksgiving, and it's gonna taste great! Vince: That sounds wonderful Brain but we got a lot of action tonight including the announcement of a Mystery Partner for the team All-Americans led by WWF Champion Lex Luger. Heenan: That's right, because after the Foreign Fanatics injured Tatanka, they're going to need a partner that isn't a bonifide loser. Vince: O give me a break Brain. Scheduled Event: The Heavenly Bodies (with Jim Cornette) def. Rock n' Roll Express for the SMW Tag Team Championship (part of the WWF-SMW deal back then)
Razor Ramon, Marty Jannetty, Billy Gunn and 1-2-3 Kid def. IRS, Diesel, Rick Martel and Adam Bomb
The Hart Family def. Jerry Lawler and His Knights (Owen turns on Bret Hart when he doesn't let Bret tag him and Lawler still did the show, but has time off because of his debt issues)
Bam Bam Bigelow's team (includes Bastion Booger, Headshrinkers) def. The Four Doinks (Bushwhackers and Men on a Mission)
Main Event: The All-Americans with Mystery Partner vs. the Foreign Fanatics (w/ Jim Cornette and Mr. Fuji)
Mystery partner is revealed to be the Undertaker who gets a huge pop when he enters the ring. Order of Elimination: Rick Steiner > Pierre > Jacques > Scott Steiner > Yokozuna and Undertaker (double DQ), Fuji and Cornette leave after they were attacked by the Undertaker Lex Luger and Ludvig Borga are finally face to face. They go at it as Borga goes for several liver punches. Luger grapples and uses his power to throw Borga to a corner. Borga can't believe it as Luger poses. Borga runs towards Luger who counters and smashes Borga's head to a turnbuckle. Lex does a powerslam and quick pin for two. He whips Borga to the ropes for the running forearm, but Borga ducks for the other side of the ropes as he goes for a flying clothesline for the pin to two. Borga gets frustrated and grabs a hold of Lex for the Torture Rack. As he does so he accidently knocks down the referee (Lex's legs make impact). Borga continues to hold Lex, but realizes the ref is down. He drops Lex and tries to get the referee up. Lex swings to the ropes and hits the running forearm for Borga to fall hard on the mat. He goes for a pin, but no referee. Lex is frustrated and lifts the referee up to a corner so he could wake him. Crush suddenly appears from the crowd and gets in the ring. Lex doesn't look and Crush uses the Cranium Crush on Lex. Luger is in alot of pain. Suddenly the Macho Man runs from the back to the ring and attacks Crush. Crush and Macho go at it in the crowd as they head up the stairs and out of sight. The referee is back up as Lex and Borga finally make it on their feet before the 10 count. Borga hits a gorilla press gutbuster for the pin to two. He can't believe that Lex kicked out and grabs a chair from the outside. He takes it in and smashes it over Lex's head for the DQ. Winner: Team All-Americans, Lex Luger as sole survivor.
Borga goes crazy and hits the chair on Lex's back twice before throwing it on the mat. He takes a mic and says: Look America, look at your backbone because I will break it. He goes for the camel clutch real hard and doesn't let go. The fans are booing and chanting USA. Lex is unconcious till WWF officials finally get Borga to stop. Borga leaves the ring, grabs the WWF Championship belt and walks to the back with it as Lex is on the mat. Vince: This is just sickening! I can't believe that Borga had the nerve to do this to Lex Luger. Why does he have the belt with him? He's not he champion! Heenan: I have to agree Vince, he's not. You don't win a championship like this. Lex finally gets up on his feet (with help), holds a thumb up high as the fans clap and chant USA as WWF officials try to walk him to the back. Vince: That is what you call a heart of a champion! Heenan: Lex Luger may be WWF Champion, but he doesn't even have his belt. And worst of all, he has yet to put the title on the line against Ludvig Borga. Vince: I have no doubt he'll get his belt back and challenge Ludvig Borga for the championship!

WWF Monday Night Raw Nov. 29th, 1993 Westchester Counter Centre, White Plains, New York Commentators: Vince McMahon, Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and Randy "Macho Man" Savage.Highlights shown for Survivor Series and backstage footage of what transpired between Randy Savage and Crush as they went on it in the stadium towards the public washrooms till WWF officials stop them both. Vince: Welcome to Monday Night RAW, I am Vince McMahon followed by Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and welcoming back on Monday Night RAW, Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Randy: It's great to be back here because if I was in the dressing room, I'd be all over Crush and the cameras will stop rolling out here in the ring yah! Ludvig Borga (with stolen title belt) (w/ Jim Cornette) def. Scott Taylor via pinfall. At the end of the match, Vince enters the Ring as Borga holds the WWF Championship up high with huge heat. Vince: Ludvig Borga, congratulations on your victory here, but I must say that championship belt does not belong to you. Borga: At Survivor Series I broke the back of America, If Lex Luger wants this belt back, if America wants it back (laughs)...America knows what I want. Cornette: That's right, Ludvig Borga deserves to be the WWF Champion so I'm calling out Lex Luger right now to accept a challenge and face off against Ludvig Borga. Because you know it and the world knows it, Ludvig Borga is the next best thing in wrestling and the only man to pin Tatanka and put him out of his misery (laughs). Lex Luger enters the ring with his shirt off and wrappings around his ribs and back.Lex: First of all, Ludvig Borga, I can ensure you my back is healing faster than you can imagine. You can try to hurt us, but we Americans keep coming back. So Mr. Cornette, that championship belt is mine, and if I have to take it by force I will. Cornette: And what about the title shot? Lex: Pass the championship belt over to me and you got it. Cornette: How many times have you disrespected this man (Borga), your days are numbered Lex. And I want you to be 100%, I want you beaten at your best. So how about we put that championship match into a contract (hands over the belt from Borga). Lex: You got a deal (takes the belt and places it over his shoulder). Cornette: I'll have my lawyers on it. Vince: Alright! (USA chants) There you have it folks Lex Luger will take on Ludvig Borga for the WWF Championship. Borga: Hold on just a moment. I've noticed that some of your friends like to interfere in matches like that Macho Man (Randy laughs on commentary saying that it was Crush that interfered first at Survivor Series). Just like America does around the world, interfere in everyone's business. So let's make it a Steel Cage Match at the Royal Rumble. Cornette: Whoa whoa what are you doing (tries to convince Borga it's not a good idea)... Lex: (angrily) You want a Steel Cage Match? I accept and I'll see you at the Royal Rumble.

WWF Monday Night Raw December 6th, 1993 Westchester Counter Centre, White Plains, New York Announcers: Vince McMahon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan. Crush def. Tony Roy in Singles competition.Crush takes the mic after the end of the match and says: Where is the Macho Man? Where is he? Vince: (shouts while on commentary) He's not here. Crush: That's what the Macho Man is, a coward cause he knew I would be here and he decides not to show up. And as for you Lex Luger, you don't deserve to be the WWF Champion. It took a Survivor Series match, a friend's injury and a stolen belt to finally convince you to put the title on the line. What kind of a joke is that? What kind of champion is that? A champion is someone who takes on all comers. You're no champion. Razor Ramon music starts and out comes the Intercontinental Champion to a pop. Razor: Hey yo chico man...you are all talk, you think Randy is afraid of you. No way chico. And you can't dis my friend Lex Luger like that. He is the W...W...F Champion man. He beat Yokozuna fair and square, while Yokozuna put you on the stretcher man. Crush: Who do you think you are (exaggerates the word) chico. Oooo the "bad guy", there ain't anything "bad" about you. You may have won the Intercontinental Championship, but you didn't earn it, you didn't take it from Shawn Michaels (who was actually suspended for steroid use, in this alternate timeline he'll continue to be suspended). Why don't you put it up for grabs, and we'll settle this like men. Razor: You got it, you and me man, mono a mono championship on the line. Vince (on commentary): Wow what a match that would be! Vince announces that next week on RAW the "Great American Debate" will take place between Lex Luger and Ludvig Borga when the contract is signed for their championship match at the Royal Rumble. Vince: Monday Night RAW is brought to you by WWF Rage in the Cage for the Sega CD releasing December 21st! What action and excitement! WWF SuperStars like Lex Luger, Randy Savage and Bret the Hitman Hart!

WWF Monday Night Raw December 13th, 1993 Mud-Hudson Civic Center, Poughkeepsie, New York Announcers: Vince McMahon and Jim Cornette.Vince McMahon announces that Bobby "the Brain" Heenan has asked for vacation time and may not be back for a long time, and wishes him the best (note: Heenan being kicked out of RAW didn't do it for me, thought I end it this way, the real story is that he was exhausted and had health issues). Vince announces that Jim Cornette will be by his side for commentary. Also Vince promises that Macho Man Randy Savage will return tonight for a Singles match after being out of the ring for so long. Randy "Macho Man" Savage def. Fatu via pinfall. He takes the mic and asks for Crush, but Crush doesn't appear. Later in the show Owen Hart shakes Bret Hart's hand after Bret apologizes to Owen about the Survivor Series. They decide to form a new Hart Foundation tag team. It's announced that Undertaker will be taking on Yokozuna at the Royal Rumble. Last portion of RAW has the ring covered with the Red White and Blue and American flag with a table/mic in the middle. WWF President Jack Tunney is in the middle of the ring. Ludvig Borga is already in the ring and sitting on the right side of the table (without Jim Cornette) as Lex Luger is announced to come out to a big pop. He comes in with the WWF belt folded as he enters the ring and places the belt on the table; sitting on the chair on the left side. Tunney: Alright gentlemen, we have the contract ready for both of you to sign. Mr. Cornette's lawyers have written this up. A signature is all that is needed from the both of you. Lex Luger you go first. Lex: (takes the pen) Ludvig Borga you've been on my back ever since I won the WWF Championship. Well I'm glad we've finally settled a place and time. I'm glad it's going to be a steel cage match (signs it) and it will be your last shot at the title because when I'm done with you; you won't want another title shot. Borga: (Lex hands over the contract to him) I have been waiting a long time for this one, paper champion (signs the contract). Tunney: Alright gentlemen. As part of this contract signing, the both of you have agreed to the "Great American debate" here on Monday Night RAW. Mr. Borga, you may proceed first on your case on why you feel the US of A is not the greatest country in the world. Borga: It doesn't even deserve to be called a country anymore. It's a washed up land where you pollute and destroy nature. Your corporations go around the world and spread the filth in other countries. Your military goes around the world and try to police it and when you tried to do it in Vietnam, ha! Pathetic. It's always your way or no way. This attitude...of American foreign policy, makes me sick. You disrespect other countries and your government treats your own people like dirt. The United States of America is crumbling on the world scene. Lex: (USA chants) You're wrong, more wrong than ever. The US of A has saved countries from disaster. We spend billions helping other countries... Borga: (interupts) and still you can't clean your pollution and street of filth and bums. Tunney: Hey now, Lex has his turn. Lex: Now you listen here Ludvig Borga, some people like to come here and take shots at our country. If you don't like it, leave it (USA chants get stronger). Borga: (laughs) that is your answer...(USA chants get louder)...that is always your answer. Love it or leave it. It's pathetic. It's obvious you don't want to debate...(USA chants are extremely loud). You know...(he takes something out of his pocket) I've had enough (throws the table aside). Borga strikes Lex with a "foreign object" brass knuckles. Lex falls on his knees hurt. Borga picks him up for the Torture Rack. WWF Officials start running in the ring to stop him and he finally drops Lex on the mat and kicks him. He grabs the American flag and places it over Lex. Borga: (takes the mic) This is what will happen at the Royal Rumble after I am done with you. The end of your hero America. Vince announces that next week WWF Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon will be taking on Crush.

Crush enters the ring to some heat (in black instead of the bright colours he was accustomed too). Razor Ramon enters the ring slowly till Crush attacks him from behind. Crush raises Razor's arm and delivers a strong punch to his side of the rib-cage(signature Heart Punch move). He hits three heart punches and whips Razor to the ropes and lifts him for a backbreaker. Crush waits for Razor to get up and hits a massive Superkick for the pin to two. Randy Savage appears from the back and walks down to ringside. Crush watches him, but Razor manages a few punches on Crush. Razor whips Crush to the ropes and does a scoop slam. Razor hits a belly to back superplex and goes for the abdominal stretch. Crush manages to use his strength and lifts Razor for a counter. Crush goes for the ropes and jumps over Razor, Razor gets up, but Crush hits a flying shoulder block. Savage is talking trash as Crush goes for the outside and starts to attack Randy. Randy smashes Crush on the ringpost and throws him in. Randy leaves ringside. Razor is up and gets Crush ready for the Razor's Edge. As he lifts him, Crush counters and lifts up Razor for the Fireman's carry DDT for the pin to two. Crush is frustrated and goes for the Cranium Crunch. Razor is unconcious and the referee lifts the arm for the three, though Razor's left foot was outside of the ropes. Winner: Crush via submission and New WWF Intercontinental Champion Vince: I can't believe it! Crush leaves ringside and grabs the IC belt. Randy Savage walks out with a WWF official and starts to tell the referee that Razor's legs were out. Crush walks slowly away from the ring, but the announcer announces that the referee has reversed the decision. Crush is angry and throws the belt on the ground. He spits on it and leaves the ring to a ten count. Winner: Razor Ramon via countout and STILL WWF Intercontinental Champion.
Backstage with Todd Pettengil: Todd: Crush can I have a word with you. Crush: Tell me something, tell me something....when a referee makes a decision, it's final isn't it? Todd: Well that's right. Crush: What right did the Macho Man have to interfere? What right did he have to come out and force the referee to reverse that decision? Tell me! Todd: Ummm..well.... Crush: That's right. Randy Savage...you listen to me here. You just screwed me over the WWF Intercontinental Championship. But you know what (laughs)...you know it doesn't matter because after I'm done with you Macho Man, after I become the new face of the New Generation...I'm going after you Lex Luger. Yes that's right I have my eyes on the WWF Championship. Vince: Whoa! Can you imagine that!
