Raw 5/7/01-Uniondale, NY
The show opens as promised with brief highlights from Saturday's UK exclusive Insurrextion PPV narrated by Michael Cole. It ends with a plug for the DVD release and it cuts to the traditional Raw opening. From there it goes to the ring. Commissioner Williams Regal in a three piece suit with a big cheesy smile in his face waves to the crowd, a large majority boo him. Standing next to him is Steve Austin, dressed in a jacket, plain black shirt, and plain blue jeans.
Regal: Hello ladies and gentlemen a-
Austin snatches the mic out of his hand to a huge pop. Regal backs off as Austin looks up and brings the mic to his mouth.
Austin: Listen, last week me and The Rock were attacked by Booker T and Goldberg. I'm here to give a little update on the situation. I aggravated a knee injury and I'll be sitting out until Fully Loaded.
He pauses as the crowd pop and Regal nods along.
Austin: As for the former champ, a return has yet to be scheduled. As such Vince decided that tonight a tournament will begin and conclude at Judgement Day with the winner facing me at Fully Loaded. As for after that I'm officially laying down a challenge to Sting. Whether it's on a Raw or on a SmackDown or in a White Castle parking lot, I want you to man up, grow a pair and fight me one-on-one face to face you face painted son of a bitch.
He throws the mic down and gets out of the ring carefully while his music begins to play. The camera follows him as he starts up the ramp. He turns and poses with the title to a massive cheer. The camera cuts to the commentary table. Heyman let's out a phew.
Heyman: Big night.
J.R.: Big night indeed. Hello everybody good ol' J.R. joined as always by my broadcast partner Paul Heyman.
A screen transition brings up the tournament brackets.
J.R.: There you see it folks, the first round matches to decide the new number one contender for the WWF Title.
Heyman: Thanks Polly.
The screen transitions again backstage to The Hardys preparing for their match. Lillian Garcia enters the room with a mic.
Matt: Look no offense Lillian, we really to need to totally prepared and focused for our match tonight. So if you don't mind, no interviews right now, ok?
Garcia: O-ok, yeah yeah, fine. Um, good luck tonight then.
He thanks her as she leaves the room. It cuts to the ring and the bell rings. Howard Finkel introduces the match and Tazzs music hits to a big pop from his fellow New Yorkers. He walks out, holding the title by his side. Fink introduces him and he poses in the ring before the ref takes the title. He folds his arms standing in the corner as Ultimo Dragons music begins to play.
J.R.: Tazz pulling double duty tonight, later he will be defending his European Championship against Eddie Guerrero in a Steel Cage. While the more grueling of the two, this match is no picnic either and it would behoove Tazz to try and end this match quickly.
As if on cue, Tazz begins to club Dragons back as he begs in to step through the ropes. He drags him into the ring by his mask and tries to lock in a Tazzmission but Dragon fights it and pushes Tazz back and Dropkicks him. Both roll right to their feet and Tazz tries for a Clothesline but Dragon ducks it and Dropkicks Tazz in the middle of his back, knocking Tazz through the ropes to his feet in the floor.
Dragon grabs the top rope and jumps. He dips under the middle rope trying to Dropkick Tazz but the champ moves. He grabs Dragon by the wrist and mask and sends him over the barricade. Tazz walks over after taking a moment to catch his breath. Dragon slowly pulls himself up and Elbows Tazz in the jaw. Tazz backs up a little checking his mouth. Dragon climbs onto the barricade and jumps and Hurricanranas Tazz to a big pop. Both men lay on the floor as the ref starts counting.
Dragon is up first and climbs onto the apron as Tazz gets up a few seconds later. He kicks Tazz causing him to back up. Dragon jumps onto the middle rope but Tazz quickly runs into the ring under the bottom rope. He plays to the crowd as Dragon gets on the top rope. Tazz and Dragon jumps at him hitting another Hurricanrana but this time he pins Tazz for the three.
Dragon celebrates as he's announced as the winner. Tazz stands up and taps Dragon on the shoulder. Dragon turns around nervous. Tazz holds his hand out and Dragon slowly takes hold of it and shakes it. Tazz goes to the ropes and is handed his title. He leaves the ring and backs up the ramp, neither man taking their eyes off the other.
It cuts to Satoshi Kojima backstage walking to the ring.
J.R.: A tense atmosphere following this first match of the number one contenders tournament but tonight we have a number of Raw debuts, starting with this man Satoshi Kojima, next.
It cuts to commercial. When it comes back, Pete Gas is in the ring. Kojimas music begins to play and most of the crowd are quiet unfamiliar with the Japanese superstar. Cozy is announced and walks stoically to the ring. Once in the ring he poses on the second rope. Gas runs up behind him and clubs him across the back and the bell rings.
Heyman: I have a feeling that was a really bad idea.
Kojima climbs down and Gas kicks him in the stomach a few times in the corner. He backs up before running at Kojima. Kojima runs and meets Gas halfway with a Lariat and covers him for the three. The bell rings as there's a slightly bigger crowd reaction. The ref raises his hand as he's announced as the winner.
He yells at Gas in Japanese before leaving the ring. The camera cuts to J.R. and Heyman.
Heyman: Told you.
J.R.: Nevertheless, impressive debut from Mr. Kojima.
They jump a little and J.R. grounds as the music of The Right to Censor begins to play. The camera cuts to Steven Richards and Ivory storming to the ring with Miss in hand.
Ivory: Cut the music!
The music stops and she's red faced and sweating.
Ivory: I'm disgusted. I'm appalled at what they let air on SmackDown!
She pauses to let the footage of Stacy teasing the camera towards the end of SmackDown and the crowd woo. It cuts back to Ivory and Richards. Richards is grimacing.
Richards: Kids watch this show! Grandparents watch this show! And that tramp is running around showing off her rear end and using her looks to get by! It's disgusting. We at RTC have fallen apart because of her and Torrie Wilson. We-
The lights go out.
]Heyman: Shows over.
The lights come back on and the crowd cheer as Sabu is in the ring with a chair in hand, pointing to the sky.
Heyman: It's Sabu!
J.R.: Friend of yours
Richards: Now as I was saying.
He turns around and he freezes in shock and fear. Sabu lowers his arms and runs at Steven. He runs out of the ring, closely followed by Ivory and they both run up the ramp to the back without looking back. Sabin walks around the ring for a bit.
Heyman: Richards has found himself on the wrong end of many a Sabu appearances, he knew what this man brings to the table. But 90% of that locker room has no idea how far he'll go, how much pain and agony he'll put his own body through if it means winning.
Sabu points up again before it cuts to The Impact Players backstage in their locker room, Lance Storm is dressed for a match while Justin Credible is wearing jeans and a WWF T-Shirt.
Credible: You, you have a huge opportunity tonight.
Storm: I know. And listen I don't mean anything by this Justin but I'd really appreciate it if you stayed back here during the match. Cool?
Credible: No problem. I got business to handle anyway.
Storm nods at a smirking Credible and heads out of the room. It cuts to the ring and HHHs theme begins to play as the crowd are a mix of cheers and boos. There's no introduction as he makes his entrance and poses in the ring. Despite a louder amount of boos, his opponent Lance Storm gets the same treatment. Both are introduced individually once they're in the ring.
J.R.: Lance Storm in for an uphill match tonight.
Heyman: Uphill match? Uphill match? Kiss my ass! Storm may not be the most charismatic man to ever pick up a mic, he may not be the biggest draw, but when that bell rings he is just as if not better then HHH. Why would it be so unbelievable if Storm was to beat HHH tonight?
Storm and Trips stare each other down as the bell rings. The two circle each other and go in for a lock up but Storm grabs HHHs arm and Arm Drags and puts him in a modified arm bar. HHH rolls up to his feet after a few seconds and backs Storm into the ropes. Storm slowly releases the hold raising his arms.
HHH slowly stands straight up and swings at Storm but he ducks it and chops HHH then Irish Whips him but HHH counter whipping Storm across the ring. HHH Spinebusters him then mounts him and lays into him with a few rapid punches before the ref pulls him off.
J.R.: The Game not taking that chop from Storm well.
HHH pulls Storm up as he's halfway back on his feet. Storm punches him a few times in the stomach but HHH buries a knee into storms sternum and tosses him out of the ring. HHH leans over the ropes for a second before leaving the ring. Storm is back on his feet, leaning on the announce table.
HHH walks toward him but storm lifts him up and drops him sternum first onto the announce table. The crowd ooh as HHH falls to the floor, holding his sternum, coughing a little.
Heyman: I say if Lance wins we start calling him 'The Game'.
Storm rolls into the ring and back out to break the count. He walks over to HHH, whose on all fours crawling towards the apron. Storm runs and punts HHH in the gut. HHH holds his stomach and rolls away, coughing. Storm poses to boos from the crowd, HHH is slumped against the stairs. Storm grab shim by the hair and pulls him to his feet. He sets up and hits a Vertical Suplex. HHH sits up in pain briefly before laying back on the floor.
Storm stands up and rolls into the ring. The refs count is up to five when HHH pulls himself to his feet. He stumbles a little but manages to dodge a Baseball Slide from Storm. Storm runs at HHH but The Game moves and throws him stomach first into the apron. Storm stumbles back and falls into a seated position, coughing and holding his ribs.
HHH takes a knee to catch his breath for a moment. He grabs Lance, pulls him up, and rolls him into the ring, rolling in after him. He covers him and barley gets a two count. HHH chokes Storm on the mat instead of getting up. The ref tries to pull him off but fails and starts counting. HHH let's go at four and stand sup and argues with the ref. He grabs him by the shirt and backs him into the corner as the ref threatens to DQ him.
HHH roughly lets him go and turns around, starting to walk away. Storm, now on hisfeet in the corner, runs at him and hits him with a Spinning Wheel Kick and covers him for a close two count. Storm sits on the mat for a second. He rolls to his feet and sits HHH up and locks in a Rear Chinlock.
J.R.: Lance Storm looking to bring this match back into his wheelhouse, looking to wear out The Game.
Heyman: Notice the knee digging into the small of HHHs back, wearing down the lower back for The Boston, pardon me, The Calgary Crab.
HHH starts to pull Storms hand apart but Storm stands a little and drives his knee into HHHs back, locking the hold back on. HHH gets back to his feet, the hold still on. He elbows Storm in the gut before pushing him off towards the ropes across the ring. He runs at him and they meet halfway as HHH hits a High Knee. HHH rests on the top rope, Storm holds his jaw panting on the mat.
Storm starts to get back up. HHH grabs him and pulls him out his feet and puts him between his legs. Storm pushes him away and rolls out of the ring. HHH goes over to the ropes and leans over to grab Storm but he pulls on The Games leg to trip him. He rushes into the ring and lifts HHHs legs and flips forward into a cover for a two and a half count.
Storm rolls away and waits for hhh to stand up. When he does and turns to face Storm, he throws a Superkick. Trips catches his foot and spins him around. When he stops he kicks Storm in the stomach and hits him waits a Pedigree. He rolls him to right to move him away from the ropes and covers him for the three.
He's announced as the winner as his music begins to play. He stands up and begins to celebrate. The tournament bracket appears on screen showing that Ultimo Dragon and HHH have advanced. J.R. and Heyman praise Lance Storm and hype the next two tournament matches for later. It cuts backstage to Buff Bagwell, back to the camera posing. He looks over his shoulder and smirks and turns around to face the camera.
Bagwell: Oh sorry didn't know you were there...or did I? Nevermind that, I know you all were worried that you wouldn't be seeing Buff Daddy on Raw tonight. Well guess what? I'm in action next and with the roll I've been, it'll be no problem. Cause I'm Buff and I've got the stuff.
He poses and it cuts to Commissioner Regals office, Steve Austin is sitting n his couch, with his leg and the title on the arm of the couch. Regal looks over at him.
Austin doesn't even acknowledge him. Regal sighs and turns back to the monitor. The camera cuts to the ring as Buff Bagwells music hits to boos. After a brief blast of pyro buff comes out and poses on the top of the stage before starting down the ramp as hes introduced. The camera cuts to his opponent, Danny Doring, already in the ring as a graphic with his name appears under him.
Heyman: Who keeps letting Buff in here?
J.R.: He's got a contract now.
Heyman: My fathers a lawyer, give him a couple minutes and I'm sure he'll find a loophole.
Buff poses in the ring a bit more as his music slowly comes to a stop. He takes off his entrance hat and vest and the ref calls for the bell. The two lock up and buff locks in a Side Headlock but he spins around going behind Doring and pushes him away. He stumbles and leans on the ropes as Buff poses. The crowd boo and Doring smirks. The two circle each other briefly before locking up again. This time Doring locks in the Headlock. Buff pushes him off onto the ropes across the ring. Doring knocks Buff to the mat with a Shoulder Block then hits the ropes again. Buff rolls over onto his stomach but instead of jumping over him Doring puts his foot on Buffs back and poses to small applause. Buff rolls over into a seated position as Doring moves his foot and backs up, sitting on the middle rope, smiling arrogantly.
J.R.: Bit of a pose down to start things off.
Buff rolls to his feet and calls Doring into the middle of the ring and calls for an actual pose off. Doring nods accepting the challenge. Buff faces the crowd and poses to a smattering of boos. Doring nods and School Boys him for a two count. They roll to their feet and then Doring poses to small applause. Buff kicks Doring in the stomach and turns him around and chokes him on the top rope. The ref pulls him off at three but Doring falls to one knee and Buff chokes him against the middle rope to a four count.
Buff puts his foot on Doring back and poses to boos. He moves his foot and grabs Doring by the hair. He drags him over to the corner and climbs to second rope. He stands Doring up and hits a Blockbuster and covers him for the win. The ref calls for the bell as the crowd boo. Buff smiles and poses then the lights go off.
The lights come on and Sabu is back in the ring with his chair in hand. He's pointing up and Buff turns around and bails out almost instantly. Sabu stares at buff for a moment before laying into Dorings back with a couple of chair shots, the crowd ooh and Sabu throws it down and bails out of the ring and leaves through the crowd. The camera quickly cuts backstage to Tazz. He's sitting down with the European belt in his hand.
Tazz: Eddie, tonight you and me are locked in a Steel Cage. One last time for this European Title. No excuses, no bs, just one clean winner. I'm going to beat you down but I wouldn't even think of leaving that ring...
He stands up, putting the title on his shoulder.
Tazz: ...cause that isn't a victory to me. That's not how you win a fight. Eddie as you on the mat looking at the lights, bruised and battered,I'm going to pull you to your feet, lock in The Tazzmission and choke your ass out!
He storms out around the camera and the show cuts to commercial. When it comes back, the lights are down and the cage is just about to finish lowering. As it finishes coming down, the ring crew start buckling it down as the lights come up and Eddie Guerreros music begins to play. He walks out, clearly nervous. After his introduction, he slowly and cautiously steps into the cage. The lights lower again as Tazzs music starts. Unbeknownst to the everyone, Eddie sneaks out of the ring and hides under it. Tazz comes out, towel over his head and European Title in his hand, and is introduced.
J.R.: Tazz, seemingly more eager to enter this match- oh what the hell?!
Eddie jumped Tazz as he started to get in the ring and pulled him back out. The lights go back on and Eddie throws Tazz back first into the barricade. He grabs Tazz and throws him face first into the cage as the crowd ooh. Eddie taunts the crowd to a roar of boos. Tazz starts pulling himself up using the cage. Eddie grabs the champ by his singlet and drags him over to the door and shoves him into the ring. He follows him in and yells at the ref to ring the bell. The ref insists he can't until the door is closed. Eddie starts arguing with him and notices Tazz starting to stir and runs over and stomps on a few times before running back over and keeping the door continuing to yell at the ref to ring the bell.
Heyman: The challenger Eddie Guerrero using his smarts to try and win back The European Championship
J.R.: Smarts?! Paul he's trying to chicken out of this match.
Heyman: Chicken out? Chicken ou- how dare you Ross! You'd rather see this man risk his career by actually staying in the cage!
Eddie looks over his shoulder and notices Tazz is back on his feet, leaning on the top rope. He curses under his breath and runs over. Tazz moves throwing Eddie into the corner and kicks him in the midsection a couple of times. He grabs him by the wrist and pulls him into a Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Eddie sits up, wincing in pain. He rolls to his knee and crawls to the door yelling at the outside ref to open it. Tazz followed him and grabs him by the hair and pulls him to his feet. He locks his arms around Eddies waist but Eddie low blows the champ.
He smirks at having the match in his favor. Eddie turns around, Tazz is on one knee holding his crotch. Eddie pulls him up and hits him with a Snap Suplex. Eddie stands up and taunts the crowd to boos. He runs his boot across Tazzs face. He rolls away, holding his nose. Eddie turns his back and taunts the crowd again. Tazz rolls right to his feet and crosses his arms.
Heyman: Eddie climb out now!
Eddie turns around and gets knocked down with a Clothesline. He rolls rolls right up and Tazz Clotheslines him again. He rolls right up again. Tazz locks him for a Belly-to-Belly Suplex but Eddie fish hooks his mouth to get free. He punches him sending the champ to the mat. Latino Heat stomps on him a few times before getting out of the ring. He flips over the top rope landing on Tazz. Eddie stands up and moves Tazz before climbing to the top rope. He looks up briefly then looks back at Tazz and tries for a Frog Splash but Tazz moves. Guerrero lands and gets on his knees holding his gut and crawls on his knees to the door.
Tazz pulls himself up and runs over stomping the challenger in the small of his back. Eddie winces and puts his hand to his back. Tazz grabs him by the hair and chokes him against the middle rope. He lets Eddie go backing away. Eddie rolls off of the rope, coughing.
J.R.: The European Champion in firm control of the match, seeming rather comfortable in the cage.
Eddie starts to pull himself up, Tazz watches him with his arms folded. Eddie takes a moment to catch his breath before charging at Tazz, attempting a Clothesline. Tazz tries to counter it with a Fujiwara Armbar but Eddie blocks and runs around trying to get out of Tazzs grip. He ends falling down but sends Tazz through the ropes, the champ crashes shoulder first into the cage as the crowd ooh. Tazz lays on the apron, Eddie is on all fours panting. He rolls over and crawls towards the ropes. He pulls himself and climbs onto the top rope and starts to slow ascend the cage. Tazz stands up, groggy. He climbs onto the top turnbuckle and up the cage, putting him on an even plane with Guerrero.
J.R.: Both men are in dangerous territory, willing to risk their careers and bodies for the European Title.
Both men begin to exchange body strikes. A punch from Tazz leaves Eddie handing onto the cage with his feet dangling. The crowd ooh loudly. Tazz repositions himself so he's behind Eddie in a koala like position. He locks in The Tazzmission and the crowd cheer.
J.R.: Good Lord!
Heyman: Eddies other hand is the only thing keeping them up there, what happens if he passes out?
Heymans question is answered as a few moments later Eddie hand slowly unfolds and slips to his side. The ref climbs up to check if he's out and calls for the bell. Tazz slowly begin to climb down dragging Eddie with him. Once he's standing on the top rope, he tosses Eddie to the mat. His music begins to play as he's announced as the winner. He poses on the top rope to cheers. The outside ref opens the door and hands Tazz his belt as he leaves. The ref inside the cage checks on Eddie whose starting to come to. Tazz holds the belt up as he he walks backwards up the ramp. It cuts to a dimly lit room with KroniK standing in the light. Bryan Christopher's hair is hanging down in his face, Brian Adams begins to speak.
Adams: Since we began to storm through this place we've taken four of Vinces best tag teams. The Brothers of Destruction, out! Edge and Christian, out! APA, out! Dudley Boyz, out. Now Hardyz I don't know if it's jealousy and you wanna join them on the injured list or if you think, after watching us Chokeslam Bubba Ray Dudley through a sunroof, that you won't end up like those other teams.
Clark: And X-Factor, Impact Players, don't think for a second you're safe. Once we get done with The Hardyz tonight and The Holly Cousins on SmackDown, we're coming after you and we will be the only team left standing.
Adams smirk and it cuts to the commentators.
J.R.: A very focused KroniK. They're more then ready for our main event to officially decide the WWF Tag Team Champions as KroniK takes Matt and Jeff, The Hardyz. But first we have two more first round matches in the tournament to decide a Number One Contender to the WWF Title. One of those men is Lightheavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn, who will be defending his title at Judgement Day against Japanese sensation, Hayabusa. Let's take a look at this unique athlete.
It cuts to a highlight reel of Hayabusa with his theme music playing over the footage. It ends with a pic of Hayabua and the date and logo for Judgement Day. It cuts back to the arena and pans the crowd. Low Kis music hits and the camera cuts to the stage. He walks out and power walks to the ring as he's introduced.
J.R.:Low Ki is focused and ready for a fight.
Jerry Lynn's music hits next and the crowd pop. He comes with the title around his waist, completely focused on his opponent in the ring. He's introduced and he gets in the ring. He quickly takes his title off and hands it to the ref.
Heyman: Neither man wanting to wait!
The two shake hands after the bell is rung. They slow let go unsure of the other. They begin to circle each other. Ki fakes Lynn out with a low kick causing him to back up. Ki smirks as the two move in again circling each other. Ki throws another but Lynn catches his leg and pushes him to the mat and drops an elbow on his knee and cranks on it. Ki lays on the mat gritting his teeth. He starts moving around and manages to turn the hold into a Seated Armbar . Unfortunately it also put Lynn closer to the ropes and he easily reaches out and grabs. Ki immediately lets go and stands up as Lynn rolls forward and to his feet.
The two move in and start a test of strength. Lynn spins around and cranks on Kis arm. Ki rolls forward and to his feet and breaks the hold before Arm Dragging Lynn. Both men roll to their feet. Lynn tries for a Clothesline but Ki ducks it and springs off the second rope trying for a kick but Lynn runs and ducks it. He runs forward and rolls Ki up as he starts to get up and gets a one count. Both roll right up and start exchanging stiff chops to the others chest. Ki wins and chops him twice more before Irish Whipping. Lynn slides under the bottom rope and Ki runs and hits him with The Sasuke Special. Both men lay on the floor.
Ki is up first and rolls into the ring. The ref gets to a five before Lynn climbs onto the apron. Ki walks towards him and Lynn thrusts his shoulder into his midsection. He flips in rolling off of Kis back and hits the ropes. Ki dodges him and Lynn hops onto the second rope and jumps off hitting a Tornado DDT. He covers him for a surprisingly close two count.
He sits in the mat for a moment before standing up. He pulls Ki up and puts his head between his thighs. He poses and Ki Back Body Drops him. Ki hits the ropes as Lynn gets to his feet. Lynn counters whatever Ki was attempting with a Tilt-a-While Backbreaker and covers him for a one and a half count.
Lynn sits Ki and locks in a Chinlock. Ki squirms out in seconds and rolls Lynn up for a one count. Both are back on their feet quickly and Lynn runs at Ki but Ki moves and dumps him through the middle rope onto the apron. Ki reaches out and pulls Lynn up by the hair. Lynn hits him with an elbow and rushes to the top rope as Ki staggers in the ring turning to face Lynn. Ll you tries for a Diving Crossbody but Ki runs and duck under it. He quickly climbs to the top rope and tries for The Warriors Way but Lynn rolls out of the way. Ki lands and rolls forward and to his feet. He quickly runs across the ring and Front Dropkicks Lynn into the corner. Lynn staggers forward before falling to his knees. Ki lays him down a den rushes to he top rope and hits The Warriors Way and covers Lynn for a three count.
His music hits as he's announced as the winner. He has his hand raised and as the updated tournament bracket is displayed on screen. J.R. congratulates him and him and Heyman discuss the next round of the tournament and the final tournament match for the episode, they make sure to plug the last four first round matches will be happening on SmackDown.
It cuts from the graphic to Kurt Angle in the back with Kevin Kelly. Kurt begins to speak before Kelly can say anything.
Angle: No need for an introduction Kevin. I'm gonna make this short and sweet.
Angle walks away from him, leaving him dumbfounded. The show cuts to commercial. It comes back on Dean Malenko already in the ring, doing some last minute stretching. Kurt Angles music hits to boos. He comes out smiling and cranks his shoulders a little before heading to the ring as he's introduced.
Heyman: I'm not picking a side on this one Ross you're on your own.
J.R.(under his breath): How is that any different then usual?
Kurt poses in the ring as his music stops. The ref calls for the bell and Dean extends his hand. Kurt takes and pulls him into a Firemans Carry and holds him in a Modified Armbar. After a moment Dean gets his feet and backs Angle up against the ropes. The ref forces the two to break. Angle tries to cheap shot Malenko with a Clothesline but Dean reverses it into a Fujiwara Armbar. Kurt quickly squirms and kicks until hes close enough to get a rope break. Dean lets go without a fight and Angle rolls out of the ring moving his arm back and forth as Dean waits in the ring.
J.R.: Ladies and gentlemen this is what can expect. Angle is an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling and Dean is an expert technical wrestler. Not gonna see many Tornado DDTs and crazy dives in this match up.
While Ross was talking Angle rendered the ring. Him and Dean circle each other briefly before Kurt goes Malenko legs. He sidesteps Angle and tries to lock in a Rear Naked Choke but Angle squirms through Malenko legs and stands up locking his arms around Deans waist. Angle lifts him up but Dean rolls him up for barely a one count. The two roll to their feet and Angle clocks Dean with a right hand.
J.R.: Oh cmon!
Dean rolls out of the ring, going to one knee in the floor. Angle follows him out and Malenko spring sup and turns around hitting Kurt with a European Uppercut. Angle staggers back and falls onto his ass holding his jaw. Malenko rolls into the ring and tells Kurt to get up and get back in the ring. Kurt stands up slowly and renters the ring. The two aggressively lock up and try to push the other around but neither move and they break the hold and stare each other down, both clearly frustrated.
J.R.: Neither man able to out wrestle the other and it's wearing on the patience of both men. This could end up becoming a regular pier six brawl.
They go in for a lock up but Dean goes behind Angle and locks his arms around his waist. Angle moves around for a bit trying to get free but Malenko runs him into the ropes. Kurt holds on forcing Malenko to let go and roll away. They run at each other and Malenko hits Kurt with a Calf Kick. Malenko is up first and pulls Kurt up and hits him with a Double Underhook Suplex. He tries to lock in a Texas Cloverleaf but Kurt rolls him up with a Small Package for the three count. Kurt hurries out of the ring and starts to the back as the crowd boo and his music plays. He's announced as the winner as the camera focuses on the stunned face of Malenko. The camera goes back to Kurt bent over catching his breath staring Malenko down.

They're introduced and as get close to the ring, Matt goes to all fours and Jeff runs and jumps off his back taking out both members of KronIK. He rolls right to his feet and pulls his shirt off to loud cheering as he tosses it into the crowd.
Matt, also now shirtless, leaves the ring and helps Jeff roll in Bryan Clark. He follows him and covers him for a one count. He tags in Jeff. Matt hits Clark with a Fist Drop as Jeff hits him with a standing Swanton. Jeff stands up as Matt leaves the ring. He pulls Clark to his feet and tries to pick him up for a Sitout Suplex but Clark blocks it and picks Jeff up and drops him ribs first onto the top rope. Jeff rolls Clark into the ring and follows him. He runs across the ring and jumps onto the top rope and crashes into Adams and Matt.
He's slower to his feet this time. He steps over Adams and Matt and slides into the ring. He runs at Clark and ducks a Big Boot. When Clark turns around Jeff punches him a few times and hits the ropes taking him down with a Modified Clothesline. He's quickly back on his feet and runs, Dropkicking Adams off of the apron. He staggers a bit and then Matt turns him around and Irish Whips into the barricade before he climbs back on the apron allowing Jeff to tag out.
J.R.: Hardys having a surprisingly firm control of this match. Jeff's been an absolute firecracker.

Heyman: That's Dawn Marie! That's Dawn Marie!
J.R.: A friend of yours?
Heyman: Can't stand her.
J.R.: Regardless what the hell is she doing sticking her nose into this match?
Matt argues with her, squatting to keep his balance. She dives her fingers into his cheek and yells trying to push her away. She lets go and hops off the apron, Matt rubs his cheek. Clark grabs him by the hair and then picks him up and turns, throwing Matt to the mat with a Dominator. He rolls him over and covers just as the ref comes to and gets the three.
The crowd boos as KroniK are announced as the winners and new WWF Tag Team Champions. Adams rejoins his partner in the ring as the two are handed the titles and start to celebrate. The camera cuts to a disappointed and frustrated Jeff being mocked by Dawn as he sits against the barricade. KroniK leave the ring and start towards the barricade, wincing in pain as they walked slowly.
J.R.: I ain't about the way it happened but they're now officially the rightfully holders of those tag team titles.
Heyman: And apparently The Hardyz night ain't over yet.
The camera cuts to the ring as The Impact Players slide into the ring. Credible smirking a little as Matt crawls towards the ropes. The camera cuts to KroniK. After a few moments of the beat down, the music for The APA hits to a big pop. The two rush the ring and begin to clean house. The two follow KroniK out of the ring and continue to brawl through the crowd.
J.R.: An all out fight has broken out here in Uniondale and unfortunately were out of time, damnit.

The show opens on a panning shot through an abandoned warehouse full of debris. A video package splicing together audio and footage from KroniK, Impact Players, Hardy Boys, and APA promos and matches as the well as the WWF Title Number One Contenders Tournament focusing on the unknown underdog The Green Hero and the former champ, HHH. Once it finishes footsteps can be heard. A mysterious figure walks over to a pillar and leans a black bat against it and leaves as the logo for the show appears and the announcer says the name of the show.
It cuts to the arena and pyro goes off. The camera pans the crowd as J.R. welcomes the fans watching at home and introduces himself and Paul Heyman. The two pimp the show and synopsis the big storylines, The Tag Team Title scene chaos, and the tournament. Unfamiliar music begins to play signaling the arrival of Japanese sensation Hayabusa. The lights dim aside from a spotlight on the masked man. He's wearing white genie pants and a matching mask and robe. He slowly walks to the ring among smoke and fireworks. During his entrance, stills of him meeting Vince McMahon are shown as Heyman hypes him. It cuts back to live action and Hayabusa poses in the ring, some of the crowd cheer while the rest withhold judgement.
Jerry Lynn's music hits to a pop. He jogs out and poses before heading to the ring. Commentary recap his title reign so far and hint at Tajiri coming back for the title. Lynn is introduced as he gets in the ring and poses.

Hayabusa tries to elbow his way out but can't get any power behind his strikes. Lynn lifts himself a little applying pressure to the hold. Hayabusa takes advantage of the free range and rolls over on top of Lynn. He drives his elbow down into Lynns side three times and Lynn releases the hold. Hayabusa flips to his feet and Lynn sits up. Hayabusa Front Dropkicks him in the chest and Lynn rolls out of the ring, his arms crossed over his chest. Hayabusa waits a second before kipping up to a small pop.

Heyman: I dont know what Lynns planning, but this is how much keeping the title means to him.
He sets it up by the turnbuckle post and backs up. He runs forward as Hayabusa starts to stand up and turns around. Lynn jumps off the chair onto the top rope and quickly Planchas onto Hayabusa to a big pop. Both men lay on the floor, panting.

Both men roll right back to their feet. Lynn takes Hayabusa down with a Dropkick. Hayabusa kips right up and Dropkicks Lynn. Hayabusa hits him with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Both men lay on the mat, panting as the crowd applauds. Hayabusa is up first and picks Lynn up slowly. He picks him up for a Suplex and turns it into the Falcon Arrow.

Rhyno wails on his back with the chair four time in rapid succession. Show starts to stand up after the fourth and Rhyno wails the big man across the back one more time. A pissed off Show turns around and rips the chair out Rhyno hand and throws it away. Rhyno thinks quickly and locks his arms around the champs waist. J.R.: Easy Paul, and it seems Rhyno has something else in mind.
The camera cuts to Rhyno pulling the last of a table out from under the ring. Show starts to pull himself up and rolls into the ring as Rhyno sets up and positions the table in the outside as Show catches his breath in the ring.

Show lets him go and backs into the corner putting his hand over his eye.
Rhyno walks across the ring and squats, waiting for Show to move form the corner. Show walks forward still checking his eye. When he's far enough away from the corner Rhyno runs and Gores him. Heyman begins to scream and proclaim Rhyno as the new IC Champ. Rhyno covers and inky gets a two count as Show presses him off.
The stunned challenger argues with the ref for a moment grabbing him by the collar. Rhyno looks outside of the ring before letting go f the ref. He leaves the ring and picks up his chair from earlier.
J.R.: The ref showed some leniency due to this being a title match but he sher isn't Rhyno bring that chair back into the match.
Rhyno slides in and almost on cue the ref steps in front and starts trying to get him to the throw the chair down. While the two are arguing the Champ stands up and Big Boots Rhyno. The challenger drops the chair and the ref kicks it out of the ring. Shw repositions Rhyno and climbs to the top rope slowly.
Heyman: What is he doing?!
Show looks back and Moonsaults off the top rope onto Rhyno to a big pop. Show stays on Rhyno for the cover only gets a very, very close two count. Show stands up, panting and pulls Rhyno up. He hooks him and tosses him across the ring again.
Rhyno starts to pull himself up. Show charges and tackles Rhyno. The two go into the ropes and the ropes snap loose and the two fall through the table to a big pop.
J.R.: Good lord.
The ref begins to count. Neither man moves very much. The refs count reaches ten and he calls for the bell declaring the match a no contest. It's announced that Show is still the IC Champ.
J.R.: We might need some medical help out here. These two put each other through a hellacious brawl, breaking the barricade, the ring...
Heyman: Probably a few bones.
Medical staff come down to ringside and begin to check on the two. It cuts backstage to Michale Cole standing with The Green Hero. Cole doesn't to get introduce either of them as Hero begins to talk, his voice is shaky, clearly nervous.
Hero: Ladies and gentlemen we haven't seen the feud between Rhyno and Big Show come to an end but tonight the tournament to crown a new number one contender to the WWF Title will conclude. Oh yes! This night I, The Evergreen Underdog, will face "The Game" HHH. Now he's a hell of a wrestler but...but I'm gonna go out there and try my best dang it!
He gives the camera a thumbs up and leaves, a confused Cole hypes the match and it cuts to a highlight reel of The Hardys vs. KroniK followed by a run of promos form all forum teams. As the graphic appears on screen, J.R. hypes it and sends it to The World in New York where RVD is standing in the midst of a hot crowd watching the show.
J.R.: Rob it's been wild here in person, what's it like out there?
RVD: Ah man it's been electric up here! These people are loving the show, we all flipped when we saw the ending of that last match man.
J.R.: Speaking of that, you recently appeared on Raw for the first time since you arrived back in the WWF, is there a plan in place, anyone you've got your eyes on?
RVD: The plan is just to do what I do best, work my ass, have great matches, and satisfy every fan that pays to see me. As for the second question, I've got my eyes locked on the champs. Austin, Jerry Lynn, I'm against a man hitting a woman, but I'll even take Jazz on if she wants to really test her medial. I'm The Whole F'n Show, and it won't be long before I'm on top of The WWF.
J.R. thanks Rob for his time. It cuts to the ring, the ropes restored, and the bell rings. The match is announced as a Four Way Tag Team Match for the titles as the name of the titles appear on screen.
The music of The Impact Players are out first, Dawn Marie following them. Credible is now brandishing a Singapore cane. They strike their signature pose following their introduction.
Credible scowls as The APAs music begins to blare. The two come out in black jans, Faarooq is wearing an APA shirt. The two don't waste time getting in the ring. The Hardys are out next, Lita following them much to J.R.s surprise. The champs, KroniK are out last. They take their time getting to the ring, staring directly at The APA.
As soon as the bell rings, The IPs and Hardys leave the ring as APA and KroniK begin to brawl in the ring, the crowd cheering loud. Faarooq knocks Brian Adams out of the ring and the camera pulls back in. The other teams take their place on the apron as Bryan Clark and Bradshaw continue to slug it out.

Bradshaw goes to all fours and Storm locks him in a Seated Armbar.
J.R.: You're gonna see a lot of variety in this match.
Storm gets out of the seated position but holds onto Bradshaws arm and let's Credible tag in. He trash talks Bradshaw before kicking his arm. Storm lets go of it and Bradshaw stays on one knee, holding his arm. Credible grabs him by the hair. Bradshaw punches him in the stomach twice and then picks him up. He walks around a little before tossing Credible overhead with a Fallaway Slam.
Credible rolls up, holding his back and tags in Brian Adams before rolling out of the ring. Adams starts to get in the ring and Bradshaw immediately begins to club his back. The other half of KroniK gets in the ring and assists his partner. Faarooq comes in and the slugfest between the two resumes.
As the brawl goes to the outside, the ref calls an audible and orders Jeff Hardy and Lance Storm to enter the ring. The two do and circle each other before locking up. Storm Arm Drags Jeff and the two roll right and Jeff Arm Drags Storm. Both roll right up again. Storm knocks Jeff down with a Dropkick but Jeff is right back on his feet and ducks a Clothesline. He tries to kick Storm but he catches his foot and Jeff hops for a bit before twisting, kicking Storm in the jaw.

Matt starts to get up and Adams grabs him by the hair and pulls him into a Gorilla Press position. He walks around a little before dropping Matt ribs first into his knee. The crowd ooh and Matt rolls around, holding his ribs. He uses the ropes and pulls himself, Storm grabs him by the hair and holds him down, choking him against the top rope. The ref is quick to intervene and Storm let's go without an argument.
Matt staggers back, choking as he falls to one knee. Adams hooks Matt in a Full Nelson and lifts him up but Matt turns midair and counters with a DDT to a big pop. Both men lay on the mat for a moment before starting to stir. Faarooq and Bryan Clark have returned to the apron, Bradshaw can be seen in the background among his way back to his corner slowly.

J.R.: The combination of the Sleeper Hold and that vicious kendo stick shot has completely knocked the wind out of Faarooq.

They hold them up as the camera cuts to the disappointed and pissed off face of the other teams. It cuts backstage to Jerry Lynn. He's panting and sweaty, his hair hanging in his face and the belt is suing over his shoulder. The camera ills back and Michael Cole is standing with him.
Cole: First of all congratulations on retaining your title. It was a hard fought match and Hayabusa came close to winning. In fact he claims if he had hit whatever he was planning, he would've won and he pretty much vowed to beat you, your comments.
He's distracted by Low Ki walking into frame. Ki extends his hand.
Ki: Great match champ.
Lynn slowly and nervously. shakes his hand and Ki taps on the belt before leaving, Lynn watches him as he leaves. The camera zooms in on Lynns face before cutting away to Ultimo Dragon. With the aide of subtitles, he cuts a promo in Japanese, congratulating fellow countryman Hayabusa and promises to bring the European Title back to Japan. He bows and smiles. It cuts away to the ring as Dean Malenkos music begins to play.
He begins walking to the ring, checking his wrist tape. A recap of his match with Kurt Angle from The WWF Title Number One Contenders Tournament as J.R. and Heyman discuss it plays during his introduction.
J.R.: This isn't for a title, this isn't personal, this merely a respectful match between two amazing wrestlers. As you saw their match in the tournament ended early and the two felt like they jipped not only themselves but the fans as well.
Kurt Angles music plays next to mostly boos but with a few cheers mixed in. He spins a little as he's introduced and walks to the ring. Once in the ring, he takes off his medals and the smirk fades from his face as he warms up in the corner.
The two shake hands before circling each other. They go in for a lock ip but Malenko rolls Kurt up for a two count. The roll back up and Malenko rolls Angle up again for only a two count.
J.R.: I'm surprised after the way the last one ended that Malenko would go for such a quick victory.
Heyman: Well if you were paying attention, you would've noticed Malenko broke up both of those pins on his own. He wasn't trying to beat Kurt, he was telling Kurt that he's in there with someone on the same playing field.
Kurt ducks a Clothesline and locks his arms around deans waist. He picks him up but Dean elbows his way out and goes behind Kurt. Dean pushes him off and Kurt looks over his shoulder and smirks.
J.R.: Another show of equal skill from Malenko.
Heyman: Good job, I can't be out here doing all of the work.
They go in for a lock up again and Kurt twists Deans arm. Dean goes to one knee briefly before flipping forward and standing up, breaking Kurts hold. He grabs Kurts wrist and twits sending the Olympian to the mat. He locks him in a Short arm Scissors.
As Kurt starts to scoot towards the ropes, Dean transitions in into a Rear Chinlock. Kurt is quickly back on his feet and pushes Dean off into the ropes. He Belly-to-Belly Suplexs Dean as he bounces off the ropes. Dean lands and rolls out of the ring.

Dean blocks it and punches angle in the hip a few times and then lifts Kurt onto his shoulders and jumps off and drops Kurt into a Ribbreaker. Kurt rolls onto his back, holding his ribs and Dean quickly covers him for a close two count.
Dean sighs in frustration and stands up. He starts to pull Kurt to his feet. Kurt is limp for a moment before taking Malenko to the mat with a double leg takedown. Him and Dean scramble around for a moment before Kurt locks in a Modified Bearhug trying to use the moment to rest and regain his breath.
After a moment, he stands and pulls Dean with him. He tries to transition it into an Angle Slam but as he goes up Dean slides out and locks in a Sleeper Hold. Kurt easily throws him off. Dean rolls up and runs at Kurt only to get Dropkicked. Both men lay on the mat for a moment. Kurt is first to his feet and repositions Dean. He pushes his straps and climbs to the top rope. He goes for a Moonsault but Malenko was back on his feet. As Kurt flipped towards the mat, Dean grabbed his foot and when Kurt thudded against the mat locked in a Heel Hook.
Angle screams in pain and grips his hair. He looks up and slowly starts tying to crawl to the closest ropes. As he's inches away, fingertips so close to the bottom rope, Dean stands and pulls him back and locks him in an STF.
Kurt starts to attempt to pry Deans hands apart. Dean let's go as Kurt is close to breaking his grip and takes the back and rolls Kurt over into a pin but Kurt kicks out at two and rolls out of the ring, holding his leg. Dean sits on the mat as the ref begins to count.
Kurt slowly gets on all fours...
...then onto just his knees...
Kurt rolls into the ring and lays on the mat and the ref comes over to make sure he can continue the match. Kurt sits up and waves him away. He uses the ropes to pull himself up in the corner. The ref signals for the match to continue. Dean walks up to him and Angle moves forward to chop him. He collapses into Malenkos arms.
Malenko stands him up and picks him up and drops him into a Backbreaker. Angle arches in pain. Malenko wastes no time rolling him over and crossing his feet. He puts his knees into Kurts back and pulls into a Bow and Arrow Lock.

He stays in his feet and drags Kurt away from the ropes. He attempts to lock in The Texas Cloverleaf but Kurts fight. Malenko eventually wins out and turns Kurt onto his stomach.
J.R.: The Texas Cloverleaf is locked on!
Heyman: And Kurt won't tap. He's outing his ego and pride before his career and well being.
Kurt attempts to crawl to the ropes on two occasions and fails both times as Dean drag him away from them. After the second attempt fails Kurt surprisingly taps out and the ref calls for the bell. Dean immediately releases the hold and stands up. His music begins to play and the ref raises his hand as he's announced as the winner.
J.R.: It may have been a loss but Kurt has absolutely nothing to be ashamed about.
Dean helps Kurt to his feet and Kurt extends his hand. Dean doesn't hesitate to shake and the two smirk as they release the handshake, the crowd applauding. Angle leaves the ring and begins to limp to back.
The camera cuts to J.R. and Heyman. Th talk about the show as a whole before switching to the tournament. Recap footage is shown as they talk over it. As the lays clips play, it cuts to the stage and Ultimo Dragons music begin to play.

J.R.: Thank you for joining us Steve. I noticed you were still limping a little how's the knee champ?
Austin: Its getting there. I'll tell what I'm not concerned about that right now, I'm here to see up and close personal whose ass I'll be whipping at Fully Loaded.
They continue to talk as The Green Hero makes his entrance to mild boos. J.R. asks Austin if he still sweats former challengers like The Rock or Undertaker. Austin says no but says he'll gladly serve them another can of whoop ass. HHHs music begin to play. The crowd is mixed as the lights go down and the camera cuts to The Game walking out from the back. Stephanie McMahon follows him but kisses his cheek and goes backstage.

The camera zooms in as more blood pours from HHHs mouth. Refs and security attempt to pull Big Poppa Pump off of HHH as the feed fades to black and the WWF logo appears on screen. [/b]
I wonder if any of the WCW/ECW stalwarts will make their presence felt during this invasion such as DDP, Nash, Hogan, Hall, Goldberg, Flair, Tommy Dreamer, etc. show up? I mean Sting has already shown up and so has Booker T among others

WWF Raw 5/21/01
After a highlight reel of Judgement Day ending with The Green Heros shocking victory over HHH, there’s no opening video as it goes right to Rhyno clubbing Hardcore Holly across the back in the ring.
J.R.: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Not the usual start to Monday Night Raw. A frustrated Rhyno stormed ringside chased Tony Chimel out of the ring and demanded a fight.
Heyman: Stupidly answered by Bob Holly.
Rhyno stomps on Hardcore in the corner and pulls him up the arm and wraps his arms around Hardcore waist. Hardcore punches his way free and backs up into the ropes and Clotheslines Rhyno. Hardcore hits the ropes across the ring as Rhyno rolls up and takes another Clothesline. He rolls up again and Hardcore Dropkicks him and covers him for a two count.
Hardcore stands and pulls Rhyno to his feet and Suplexs him and then covers him again for a one count. Hardcore sighs and stands up. He pulls Rhyno up again and tosses him into the ropes. Before Hardcore can do anything Rhyno Gores him and covers him for the three. Rhyno stands up and beats his chest raising his arms. He goes over to the ropes and yells for a mic.
Rhyno: Big Show! I want another shot! You got lucky last night, I should be standing here-
”Would you please shut the hell up!”[/i]
Rhyno sneers and the crowd pop recognizing the voice behind the interruption. The camera cuts to the top of the stage with Chris Jericho standing there in just leather pants and boots and a mic in his hand.
Jericho: I had to come out and stop you before you got anymore spit on that microphone. Out of the two of us there’s only one that’s entitled to a rematch and that’s me junior.
The crowd cheer as the camera briefly pans to Rhyno looking out and out pissed. It cuts back to Jericho
Jericho: Now listen small, dumpy, and ugly why don’t you get in the back of the line where you belong and maybe when Y2J regains the IC Title maybe I’ll consider giving you shot. Or…
He starts walking down the ramp.
Jericho: How bout we settle this right now and I’ll make your ass tap to The Walls, how does that sound?
Rhyno: I’ll break every bone in your body if you even consider getting in this ring!
It pans back to Jericho who smirks and starts climbing the steps. Rhyno drops his mic and backs up running his hands through his hair and encourages Y2J to join him in the ring. Jerichos on the apron and Commissioner Regals music begins to play to a chorus of boos.
Regal: Now you two listen up. I’ve got a show to run and the great Mr. Vince McMahon will be joining us tonight and I will not have two of our superstars creating anarchy. So what I’m gonna do is book a match for SmackDown. Chris Jericho vs. Rhyno with the winner going on to challenge Big Show for the WWF Intercontinental Championship at next months Fully Loaded pay per view.
The crowd cheer as Jericho nods and Rhyno squats in the corner.
Regal: Now Rhyno I’m going to have to request that you leave the ring because Chris Jericho has a match next against an…old “friend” of mine.
His music plays and he turns to leave. Rhyno slowly leaves the ring and it cuts to the opening video. When it goes back to the arena J.R. introduces himself and Paul Heyman. There’s a blare of music that the crowds never heard. The camera cuts to the stage as the debuting Finlay walks out with a smirk on his face and a shillelagh in hand.
J.R.: Well Finlay said he loved a good fight. One of the hardest hitters and nasty sobs this side of the globe.
Heyman: Y2Js in for a hell of a shellacking tonight.
Finlay wipes his feet on the apron and gets in the ring. Jericho runs and cheap shots him before kicking him in the corner. Jericho backs off at the refs discretion. Finlay moves out of the corner and nails Jericho in the jaw with a right hand. Y2J falls sideways but is right back on his feet holding his jaw.
Jericho turns around and leans on the ropes. Finlay holds him in place and clubs him across the chest. Jericho bends over and Finlay drags him away from the ropes by his hair and brings him to the mat with a Headlock Takeover.
Jericho rolls him into a pin for a one count. Finlay releases the hold and stands up and stomps on Jerichos midsection. Jericho rolls on his side holding his stomach. Finlay grabs him by the hair and drags him to the ropes. He holds him against the middle rope, choking him. He lets go as the refs count reaches four and pushes Y2J out of the ring.
J.R.: A rather unceremonious return for Chris Jericho so far.
Finlay joins Y2J, getting to his feet, outside the ring. He approaches and Jericho chops him. Finlay flinches and backs up a little. Jericho chops him again and Finlay retaliates by raking Y2Js eyes. Jericho walks away, his hands over his eyes, the crowd boo. Finlay follows him and turns him. He leans him against the barricade and clubs him across the chest again. Jericho folds his arms over his chest and walks away again. Finlay follows but Jericho stops and throws his elbow back. Finlay staggers and Y2J kicks him in the stomach and thrusts him between his legs.
J.R.: What does Jericho have in mind?
He picks Finlay up for a Powerbomb but Finlay reaches down and rakes his eyes. Finlay lands n his feet as Jericho backs away, rubbing his eyes. Finlay smirks and plays to the booing crowd. He walks towards Y2J and gets dumped onto the floor when Jericho Back Body Drops him. The crowd cheer and Finlay tenses in pain. Jericho kneels on one knee, resting on the apron. Jericho rolls into the ring as J.R. throws it to commercial.
When it comes back, Jericho has Finlay on the mat in a Rear Chinlock. Finlay starts to get up and punches Y2J in the gut a few times before grabbing Jericho by the hair to break the hold. He kicks him in the stomach and Irish Whips him into the corner. He charges at Jericho but gets a boot in the face and staggers back. Jericho hops onto the top rope and stands up. He jumps and turns mid-air hitting Finlay in the chest with his elbow to a pop.
Jericho gets up slowly and yells “Cmon baby!” and the crowd crowd cheers. Finlay starts to get up and Jericho pulls him up and into a Powerbomb position. He Powerbombs him once, picks him back up and Powerbombs him again. In lieu of going for a third, he changes positions trying to lock in The Walls of Jericho to a cheering crowd. Finlay fights it but Jericho rolls him over but Finlay keeps rolling but rolls right back into The Walls.
Finlay screams in pain and starts pulling himself close to the ropes. They are just out of his reach as Jericho stands to pull him away from the ropes. Finlay manages to grab and hide his shillelagh. Before Y2J can cinch it back in Finlay pushes him off. Jericho gets to his feet and pushes his hair back before approaching Finlay. He grabs him by the singlet but Finlay crawls out between Y2Js legs and stands up. He cracks Jericho in the back of his right knee with the shillelagh. Jericho falls to the mat, holding his knee, yelling in pain and the ref calls for the bell.
Jericho is announced as the winner but Finlay poses with a smirk. The ref checks on Y2J and Finlay leaves the ring. J.R. admonishes Finlay on commentary. A trainer slides into the ring and checks on Jericho. It cuts to the parking lot. A dark blue van pulls up and parks. J.R. and Heyman ponder who the passenger or passengers in the van.
It cuts back to the ring and fast, bluesy song begins to play and the crowd cheer. Juventued Guerrera comes through the curtain and poses. He begins to walk to the ring as he’s introduced. His opponent Joey Abs is already in the ring.
J.R.: Paul are you gonna able to be bias during this one?
Heyman: No. I gave Juvi his first big chance in America, I know Joey Abs is gonna have to be a miracle worker to pull a win out tonight.
J.R. talks up Juvi and recounts his prime time WWF debut the week before as the two circle each other. They go in for a lock up but Abs locks in a Side Headlock. Juvi quickly pushes down on Abs bringing him to one knee and gets out of the hold and locks Abs in a Hammerlock. Abs struggles for a bit before throwing an elbow. Juvi ducks it and hits a Northen Lights Suplex, bridging into a cover for the three.
Juvi rolls up and starts to celebrate, posing on the ropes. As they begin to announce him as the winner, low Ki storms the ring and clubs Juvis back and pulls off of the rope.
:J.R.: The hell is this about?
Ki stomps in Juvi a few times before climbing to the top rope. He stands and jumps, nailing Juvi in the gut with a Double Foot Stomp. He rolls up, as Juvi rolls over, holding his ribs, groaning. Ki asks for a mic and uses his foot to push Juvi onto his back. He puts his foot on Juvis chest.
Ki: Do I have your attention Mr. Lynn?
He drops the mic and uses Juvi as a stepping stool before leaving the ring. Juvi holds his midsection, coughing in the ring as J.R. and Heyman argue about Kis attack. The ref helps Juvi to his feet and it cuts to the back. Shane and Stephanie McMahon are seen leaving a room. They share a nervous look before heading off. The door closes and its revealed to be Kurt Angles locker room.
Heyman: Why were they in Kurts dressing room?
J.R.: How should I know, I’ve been sitting here this whole time.
The Right To Censors music begin to play to a loud round of boos. Ivory leads the way as the bell rings. Steven Richards is looking around, diligently.
J.R.: Stevens looking a bit more pale then usual.
Heyman: You would be too if Sabu seemed to be on your tail.
Ivory gets in the ring and grabs The Finks mic out of his hand.
Ivory: I know you tramps are back there. You’ve broken up The Right To Censor and you pollute the airwaves with cheap, tawdry t and a! You should be ashamed! I don’t care if it’s Torrie Wilson or Stacy Keibler, I want one of you in this ring right now.
She shoves the mic into Finks chest, Stacys WCW theme, “Universal Love”, begins to blare out of the pa. She struts out, posing and dancing for the audience as Ivory yells at them to stop cheering her from the ring. Stacys introduced and she stands on the apron, her back to The RTC, posing. Ivory runs up behind her and knocks her off. Ivory quickly leaves the ring as Stacy rubs her shoulder. Ivory stomps on her and mounts her and chokes her, the crowd boo.
J.R.: That witch…
Heyman: That what?!
J.R.: As I was saying that witch Ivory jumping Stacy from behind and just assaulting her on the outside of the ring.
Ivory drags Stacy around the ring by her hair before throwing her shoulder first into the steel steps. Stacy holds her shoulder as Ivory gives Steven Richards directions. She nods and pulls Stacy up and rolls her into the ring. She slides in after her and pulls her to her feet. She holds her up as Steven rolls into the ring with a burlap sack and a paper bag. The crowd boo as he shows them off then slides the sack onto Stacy and puts the bag over her head. Ivory steps back and forces her back to the mat. RTCs music begins to play as they smile and shake hands before leavening the ring, the crowd booing loud.
It zooms in on Stacy briefly before cutting to Chris Jericho in the trainers room. Coach walks into frame and asks for a moment of Y2Js time.
Coach: First of all hows the knee, is there a diagnosis?
Jericho: No, next question.
Coach: Um, o-ok…will you still be taking your match on Thursday?
Jericho looks and scowls.
Jericho: Of course I’m taking the damn match junior. What the hell kinda stupid question is that? I’ve competed with injured ribs and a broken arm, on two occasions mind you, I’m not going to let a banged up knee get in my way. Get the hell out of here!
Coach nods and scurries out of the room. It cuts back to the mysterious van in the parking lot. Agents knock on the doors and windows and try to peek in, to no avail.
J.R.: The passengers of the van still unknown, and may remain so the rest of the night.
It cuts to The Green Hero standing in a heroic pose. Kevin Kelly is standing next to him.
Kelly: Mr. Hero, last night you shocked fans worldwide by coming out of obscurity and beating HHH for a chance to challenge “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for the WWF Title at Fully Loaded.
Hero: Yes dear citizen, it’s been a wild twenty four hours and yes I’m very nervous. But at Fully Loaded rest assured for the good of the wrestling world I will give it my all and if I lose, well then that’s the breaks and I will firmly shake Mr. Colds hand.
He jumps out of view leaving Kevin puzzled. It cuts to commercial. It comes back on an empty ring. The crowd boo as KroniKs music begins to play. The WWF Tag Champs walk out, stoic, focused.
J.R.: Last night the former WCW Tag Team Champs made a big statement by having a successful first defense as WWF Tag Team Champions, tonight...
KroniKs music suddenly stops and the lights go out.
J.R.: What the hell?
In the dark, the Tag Champs are halfway to the ring when there’s a sudden revving of a motorcycle. Fire shoots out of the turnbuckle posts with a loud bang. The crowd pop huge as the lights come on and The Brothers of Destruction are at the top of the stage. Undertaker revs his bike before speeding down the ramp towards the champs. KroniK wisely split as Taker brings the bike to a stop just before he hits the ring. He gets off quickly and begins to pepper Brian Adams with right hands. The fight between Kane and Brian Christopher on the other side of the ring is more even.
J.R.: Its deafening in here. The Brothers of Destruction are back and it’s chaos around ringside!
Taker grabs Adams by the throat. Adams takes his eyes but Taker doesn’t let go. He starts trying to pull himself free and accidentally elbows a fan.
J.R.: Oh no…
Christopher takes over, punching Kane. Adams is free of Takers grip on the other side of the ring. Taker runs after him and tries for a Big Boot but Adams ducks and Taker nails a fan, the fans gasp not catching the one getting elbowed earlier. Taker stares at the fan on the ground with a shocked look. Adams and Christopher take off, grabbing the belts.
J.R.: Oh my God…
Taker climbs over the barricade to check in the fan. Shortly after he’s joined by J.R. and a medical team. The crowd is silent as Taker steps over the barricade again at the trainers request. Kane comes over as Commissioner Regal, in a shirt and his wrestling gear storms down.
Regal: My office…NOW!
Taker and Kane look at each other before heading to the back. It suddenly cuts to the back as Trish Stratus rushes into frame.
Startus: Tonight uh Joey Matthews goes one on one with X-PAC and this is just the uh start of their journey to the Tag Titles. And on the subject of Titles, Jazz your Women’s Title will soon be around the waist of a real woman.
She makes the title motion around her waist and it hard cuts to Eddie Guerrero warming up. Paul Heyman hypes his match with Rikishi after the commercial. It comes back and Rikishis music is playing as he dances in the ring.
J.R.: Rikishis getting funky here tonight.
Heyman groans and Eddie Guerreros music begins to play. He walks out, almost sulking. He’s introduced as the crowd is mixed. He stops in The front of the ring and looks around before rolling into the ring. The two walk around the ring and the bell is rung. Eddie immediately kicks Kish in the stomach and pounds on his back.
Eddie pulls up ad away from the ropes by the hair and European Uppercuts him, Rikishi bounces off the ropes and kicks Eddie in the jaw with a Superkick. Eddie falls to the mat. The ref holds rikishi back and checks on Eddie. Rikishi stays back as the ref checks Eddies consciousness. Rikishi turns around and leans on the ropes. Eddie suddenly springs up and School Boys Rikishi for the three count. Eddie rolls out of the ring as he’s announced as the winner. The crowd boo and Rikishi stands up shocked as a striking Eddie walks to the back.
Heyman: Brillant! Brilliant move from Eddie Guerrero, he’s always three steps ahead of his opponents.
J.R.: Except Tazz?
Heyman: Shut up.
The camera cuts to the mysterious van in the parking lot. The doors open and Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner get out of their respective sides, Nash is smirking and they begin to walk into the building.
J.R.: Kevin Nash has apparently agreed to the face off with HHH, who issued the challenge at Judgement Day last night. And just as I suspected Scott Steiner was in cahoots with these WCW invaders!
Heyman: My sources tell me Stephanie wouldnt allow her husband to show up here tonight after the attack last night from Big Poppa Pump.
J.R.: Well I don’t know about that.
Heyman: Would you look at the WWF superstars? For people that are so against these WCW jackasses they seem to have their spines in their bags.
J.R.: They may be holding back because they were invited here.
The two begin to get closer to Gorilla when HHH runs up behind them and knocks Steiner to the floor and begins kicking and stomping on him. Nash pulls HHH off and HHH begins to attack him instead. Booker T runs out from nowhere and jumps HHH.
J.R: We've got chaos breaking out back there...and look whose coming up!
Kurt Angle runs into frame and pulls Book away from Trips and punches him, sending him staggering through the curtain. Kurt follows and a recovering Scott Steiner isnt far behind. The crowd cheer as the camera cuts to inside the arena and Kurt continues to punch and club at Booker as they move down the ramp.
Angle throws him into the barricade next to the stage, ribs first. This gives Steiner time to catch up and start trading fists with Angle, a surprising amount of people cheer loudly. The fight ends up in the ring as it goes to split screen. HHH and Kevin Nash arguing being held apart by X-Pac. Nash flips them both off and heads out towards the ring. HHH shoves Pac aside and chases after him, while in the other screen Kurt and Steiner continue to trade fists as Book crawls towards the ring.
Nash slides into the ring, Triple H isn’t that far behind and Chop Blocks Big Daddy Cool. He mourns him and starts to lay into him with right hands. Steiner punches Angle in the corner.
J.R.: Its absolute chaos in here. This fight has been brewing for months.
Heyman: Speaking of…
The crowd boo as KroniK join the fray. Brian Clark and Booker T double up on HHH while Brian Adams aides Steiner with Kurt Angle. The crowd are slightly mixed as Team WCW takes control…
You think you know me…[/i]
The crowd pop huge and Edge and Christian storm the ring with chairs in hand.
Heyman: Its Edge and Christian!
J.R.: The former WWF Tag Team Champs have been on the shelve for months due to attacks and brawls with KroniK.
Christian beelines fro Brian Clark absolutely clobbering him across the back with the chair. The crowd ooh and Paul Heyman yells “Damn!”. He repeatedly batters on Clarks back, and sides. Edge has knocked Brian Adams out of the ring. He stays in the ring and runs at Book, dropping the chair halfway, and Spears him.
J.R.: The former five time WCW Champion was just speared out of his shoes!
He quickly gets to his feet and grabs the chair again and rams it into Steiners ribs ad clocks him across the back with it. Nash has managed to break away during the chaos and rounds up his WCW invaders and they retreat through the crowd. HHH, Kurt Angle, and E and C egging them to get back in the ring. The crowd are cheering loud. The camera cuts between them and Team WCW before going to commercial.
It comes back on William Regals office door. It swings open violently and Mr. McMahon, his face beat red and covered in sweat and his suit jacket in his hands, storms out followed by The Undertaker and Regal. Taker and Vince go one way and Regal stays to look at the camera.
Regal:At Fully Loaded, by orders of Mr. McMahon, KroniK will defend The WWF Tag Team Titles against The Brothers of Destruction in an Empty Arena match. And by my orders, Kurt Angle, HHH, and Edge and Christian will take on Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Booker T and Goldberg at Fully Loaded.
He pushes around the camera and his music began to play. It cuts to the ring, Albert is already standing, a dejected, distracted X-Pac standing at ringside. Regal comes out, smiling and waving to the crowd as he’s introduced.
J.R.: Well, let’s try to get things back in order here. Two big matches just announced for the upcoming Fully Loaded PPV that will air in King of the Rings place due to the recent Number One Contenders Tournament.
Regal takes his shirt and the bell rings. He and Albert begin to circle each other. Albert runs forward and tries for a Big Boot but Regal bails out of the ring. He takes a deep breath and looks at Albert. He nods before kicking X-Pac in the gut and tossing him shoulder first into the barricade. Albert rushes out of the ring and Regal rushes back in followed by an angry Albert.
As Albert stands up, Regal catches him with a European Uppercut. The big man staggers back into the rope, to a round of boos. The lights suddenly go out.
Heyman: Now what?!
The lights come back on Sabu is standing in the middle of the ring, pointing up with a chair in his hands. He lifts it cracks Regal across the back to a round of cheers. He trusts it into Alberts gut, bending the big man over. He wails away with three shots to his back. He sets the chair up and hits the ropes across the ring. He jumps onto the chair then onto the top rope and hits a Plancha onto X-Pac. He quickly rushes into the ring and folds his chair before exiting again. He looks around and drives the chair into the stomach of a staff member at ringside. He cracks him across the back twice before leaving through the crowd.
J.R.: What…? What the hell was that about? Paul he’s a friend of yours…
Heyman: Its Sabu man…it’s just Sabu.
It cuts backstage to Rob Van Dam standing with Kevin Kelly. He does the RVD taunt as Kelly introduces him.
Kelly: Rob you’ve been off to a hot start here in WWF. Where is your focus going forward.
Bagwell: His focus should be on me!
RVD rolls his eyes as Buff comes into frame.
Bagwell: I wasn’t ready last week, you caught me off guard. I was distracted by a sexy…sexy lady in the front and you took advantage of that! Cheater!
RVD: Buff, you couldn’t beat me if I was sleeping. W-
Buff: Shut up! I want a rematch! Thursday on SmackDown! Hell why wait?
He pulls his shirt off and challenges RVD. Van Dam rolls his eyes and smirks walking away. Buff stands up, and looks at Kevin Kelly and smacks the mic out of his hand before leaving.
It cuts to the ring. There’s a slow build to a mix of cheers and boos. The camera focuses on the crowd and Sting in black jeans, his face paint, and a plain black shirt is walking down the steps.
Heyman: I can’t believe Vince McMahon would actually Sting air time.
J.R.: I agree, shockingly…something feels fishy.
Sting climbs over the guard rail. He’s handed a mic and he gets in the ring. He looks around for a moment. Just as he raises the mic to his mouth Vince’s music begins to play. The mixed reaction continues as the camera cuts to Vince coming out onto the stage with a mic in hand.
Sting: Thought you granted me time to talk Vince…
Vince: I did but then I woke up this morning and had a revelation…I don’t have to give you a damn thing! As a matter of fact cuts the bastards mic.
Sting tosses his mic away and leans on the top rope.
Vince: You see Sting I own WCW…by extension I own you. Hell I could fire you, have you hauled off in cuffs and gave the big fat paycheck you could be making to Pete Gas to dress up like you and let my superstars beat the holy hell out of him.
Sting stands stone faced in the ring.
Vince: And you know what I know you’ve got a family so I’ll campaign or you Steve…I’ll campaign for you to get a job hawking cotton candy in the stands. And there’s not a damn thing you could do about it! You see Sting, my decked is stacked. I’ve got The Undertaker, I’ve got Kane, I’ve got an Olympic Gold Medalist, hell I could wire checks to Vader and Shamrock to come back and kick you and your cronies asses any time you decide to make a scene.
Sting backs up, still stone faced. Vince smirks.
Vince: And you know something, I’ve got an ace up my sleeve…a 7 FT, 400 lbs ace!
Sting is spun around and Big Show grabs him by the threat. He picks him up and Chokeslams him into the mat, making a hole in the ring. The crowd pop in excitement and concern. It cuts between Sting in the hole and a smirking Vince as it fades to black.
All roads are pointing to Sting feuding with Vince...I mean yeah sure Big Show may be Vince's heavy doing Vince's dirty work but I can see it leading up to Sting vs Mr. McMahon or this feud brings on Flair with Flair showing up somehow to feud with Vince
Fully Loaded you have an 8 Man Tag Team Match with Steiner, Nash, Booker T and Goldberg representing WCW facing Edge & Christian, Triple H and Kurt Angle representing the WWF...if anything the WWF has a weaker team because outside of Triple H and Angle who are main event level caliber guys you have Edge & Christian who are a tag team but who at this time in WWF were mid-carders while you have WCW's 4 men of Steiner, Nash, Booker T and Goldberg who all 4 of them are main event guys like think about it
Brothers of Destruction Kane & The Undertaker taking on Wrath & Brian Adams KroNIK now this is a match I definitely can get behind
But then I wonder what other matches will be on the Fully Loaded card?
I wonder if the WWF Championship will be defended here or how about the WCW World Heavyweight Championship?
Then there are other titles too to consider like the WWF Women's Championship or how about the WWF Intercontinental Championship or how about the WWF European, Hardcore or Light Heavyweight Championships?

WWF SmackDown 5/24/01
The show starts with the WWF vs. WCW chaos fm Monday Night before going into the traditional opening. It cuts right a locker room, the crowd cheering in the background. The camera shows HHH, Edge and Christian sitting around. Kurt Angle enters and throws the camera man out telling them the details of the meeting are private.
It cuts to the ring, Michael Cole welcomes the fans and introduces himself and Tazz. Buff Bagwell is already in the ring with a microphone dressed in his gear.
Bagwell: There's a man walking around that locker room calling himself Mr. PPV. He also calls himself The Whole Damn Show.
He pauses as an RVD chant starts.
Bagwell: No, no, no none of that. Do not feed his ego! Last week he caught me off guard but now I'm ready, there's only woofers in the front row...
The crowd boos loud.
Bagwell: So Van Dam come down here and see that you can't measure up to Buff...The Stuff!
He poses with a crap eating grin on his face. It disappears as RVDs music begins to play. The crowd pop when RVD walks out from behind the curtain and starts down the ramp, a referee pushing past him. RVD rolls into the ring and spins, holding his arms, a cocky smile on his face. Buff tries to cheap shot him but RVD splits and buff hits the ropes but RVD rolls onto his back, Monkey Flipping Buff across the ring. The ref calls for the bell and RVD springs to his feet.
[ b]Cole[/b]: Two showboats squaring off here tonight, once again though the audience seems to accept RVDs ego a little more.
Buff charges Van Dam again and tries for a Clothesline but RVD ducks and sweeps Buffs leg out from under him. He quickly springs up and jumps, turning in mid-air, Leg Dropping Buff.
Buff rolls out of the ring, holding his chest and RVD poses to cheers. Buff stand up walking away. RVD hits the ropes and flips over the top rope but surprisingly Buff outsmarts him, running into the ring allowing RVD to crash on the floor.
Buff poses with a big smile as RVD sits up, hand on his lower back. RVD starts to stir as Buff lays on the top rope.
Tazz: An athlete like Rob Van Dam doesn't screw up too often so those rare moments are when you have to capitalize, but what's this idiot doing? Posing!
RVD rolls into the ring at a count of six. Buff gets back on the mat and goes over to him. He pulls him up by the hair and pushes him into the corner. He chokes him until the ref reaches a four count. RVD elbows Buff as he was arguing with the ref. He throws Buff into the corner and thrusts his shoulder into his gut twice before backflipping and charging into the third.
RVD backs up as Buff staggers out of the corner. RVD grabs his hand and pulls him into a Bridging Northern Lights Suplex for a one count. Buff rolls over onto his stomach. RVD is quick to move position and lock in a he transitions into a Dragon Sleeper.
Buff doesn't tap and RVD let's go of the hold. He plays to the crowd as Buff crawls to the corner. He pulls himself and RVD points to his shoulders as the fans chant his initials. He rolls forward, trying for a Rolling Thunder into a Monkey Flip but Buff moves out of the corner., and Van Dam hops onto the second rope.
Buff kicks the middle rope, causing RVD to lose his balance and fall to the mat. Buff looks at him then at the top rope. He quickly climbs to the top.
Cole: Buff may be looking for a Blockbuster!
Sure enough when RVD sands a turns around Buff dives for a Blockbuster. But Van Dam does a split and Buff flies over him crashing into the mat. He sits holding his back as RVD gets to his feet. RVD lays him on the mat, rushes to the top rope and hits a Five Star Frog Splash, selling it before scrambling into the cover for a three count. The bell rings and RVD slowly stands up, posing as the crowd hers and his music plays. He's announced as the winner as he continues to pose and celebrate before it cuts to Cole and Tazz.
Cole: Another win for Rob Van Dam. We're staring off strong here on SmackDown and it's only gonna get better.
Tazz: That's right tonight, Rhyno and Chris Jericho will battle for the chance to wrestle Big Show for The WWF Intercontinental Title later on tonight.
Cole: Also coming up-
Tazz: What the hell?
The camera cuts to the stage as Ernest "The Cat" Miller runs and dances at the top of the stage. The crowd are rather quiet as he walks down to the ring. He begins to dance again when he enters the ring. The crowd are mixed. And Miller finishes his dance routine as the music stops. He poses briefly to a slightly quieter mixed reaction. He asks for a mic and is handed one.
He goes to speak but Big Shows music cuts him off. Show walks out, clearly pissed, clearly focused. Miller yells at him on the mic as he quickly walks to the ring. He slides the IC Title into the ring and gets into the ring. Miller keeps trash talking him until Show grabs him by the throat and Chokeslams keeping his hand on his chest for the three. Tazz starts laughing at Miller on commentary.
Show doesn't stay to celebrate, grabbing his title and leaving as the show cuts to commercial. It comes back on Rhyno, hair over his face, pacing.
Rhyno: Big Show! Jericho! Size doesn't matter, I will break you both in half and proudly stand tall as WWF Intercontinental Champion!
He storms off and the camera cuts to The Right to Censor, talking, the audio muted.
Cole: The RTC conversing and after Monday I can only imagine what they're planning.
The segment of Ivory beating up Stacy Keibler and putting her in a burlap sack and a paper bag airs. It cuts back to live action, RTCs music balding as the crowd boos. They're already halfway to the ring, Ivory is smirking.
Cole: Look at the satisfaction at the witches face.
They get in the ring, mics in the hands of Ivory and Steven Richards.
Richards: On Monday Night, we unfortunately had to make an example out of that skank Stacy Keibler.
The crowd boo.
Ivory: You'd rather see that cheap, low rent, bottom of the barrel hussie, then good wholesome wrestling courtesy of yours truely.
Tazz: Imagine how sexy that barrel must be for Stacy to be at the bottom...wait
The suddenly cheer as Torrie Wilson storms into the ring and rips the mic out of Ivorys hands and backs her into the corner.
Wilson: Listen here bitch. Don't be jealous just cause women like me and Stacy have a body men want to see!
The crowd cheer as Ivory starts throwing a mini-fit in the confines of the corner. She stops and spits on Torrie, who slaps her in response. Ivory slumps in the corner, her hand on her cheek. Torrie drops the mic and turns around, getting bowled over by a Bicycle Kick courtesy of Bull Buchanan to a huge round of boos.
Cole: Oh cmon!
There's static and a clatter as The RTC drag Torrie to her feet. The crowd cheer as Tazz slides into the ring and Clotheslines Steven Richards. He ducks a punch form Bull and tosses him overhead with a Tazzplex. Ivory scurries out of the ring during the scuffle. The crowd cheer as Tazz checks on Torrie as The RTC retreat and the trainer comes down to check on Torrie.
It cuts to commercial. It comes back in the parking lot as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin hops out of a black truck to a huge pop. There's no brace in his knee and he's no longer limping as he heads into the building. Coach runs after yelling his name but Austin ignores him and keeps walking going inside one of the locker rooms in the building, slamming the door in Coachs face.
Cole: I can't believe it. The Rattlesnake showing up here tonight?!
It cuts to the ring as Nunzios music begins playing. He taunts the booing crowd as he's introduced and walks down the ramp. Low Ki runs down the ramp and whacks him across the back with a Kendo Stick.
Nunzio falls to the floor and Ki keeps hitting him with the stick until it splinters. He tosses it aside and rolls Nunzio into the ring. He follows. Nunzio is crawling towards the ropes when Ki picks him up. Nunzio breaks his grip and lays into his jaw with right hands...Ki counters with a stiff leg kick and Nunzio crumbles to the mat, holding his knee.
Ki pulls him up and holds him by the hair looking around before hitting him with a Ki Krusher. The crowd boo and he spins up onto one knee. He slowly stands up as a ref checks on Nunzio. Ki tosses him out of the ring and pulls Nunzio into the middle of the ring before ascending the top rope. He jumps off driving both feet into Nunzios knee.
Nunzio grabs his knee, rolling around screaming in pain. Ki gets a mic.
Ki: How many men must fall before you acknowledge me Mr. Lynn?
He drops the mic and looks back at Nunzio as medical staff come in to check on him. It cuts to Jerry Lynn watching in the back. He sneers and walks away. It cuts to the locker where Team WWF were at the beginning of the broadcast. Kurt Angle is laid on the floor as is HHH. The camera moves up and only catches a brief glimpse of two people before they knock the camera over and it goes back to ringside.
Cole: Who was that?
Tazz: I don't think it matters, whoever they were they took out Kurt Angle and HHH.
Ravens music begins to play. He walks out as the match is announced as a Hardcore Title Number Contenders Gauntlet Match. Raven is introduced and he rolls into the ring. He poses as his music comes to a stop and Essa Rios' begins to play. H poses in the ramp as he's introduced and slide into the ring. Raven immediately starts stomping on me before he can back on his feet and the bell rings.
Essa fights his way back to his feet. He punches Raven and rolls up him trying for his signature DDT but Raven flips him off and back to his feet. Raven tries for a Clothesline but Essa ducks it and as Raven bounces off the ropes, Essa hits him with a Spinning Wheel Kick and Raven rolls out of the ring.
Essa hits the ropes as Raven stumbles to his to his feet. He ju,ps over the top rope taking Raven out with a Corkscrew Plancha. He rolls right to his feet and poses to cheers. Essa pulls Raven up and rolls him into the ring then ascends to the top.
Cole: Essa trying to make his night just a little shorter!
As he stands Psicosis slides into the ring and pushes Essa, crotching him on the top. In the background Low Ki positions a chair in the ring. Psicosis climbs up to the top and Hurricanranas Essa off. Essa lands on his feet though, just beyond the chair.
He stands right up and kicks Ki in the stomach and clubs his back. Psicosis takes advantage and clubs him across the back. The two stomp on Essa before Ki picks him up and hits him with a Ki Krusher. He wraps the chair around Essas leg and Psicosis climbs to the top rope and jumps off, Leg Dropping the chair. Essa pulls his leg free, holding it, curled up in pain.
Ki holds up three fingers and the two leave. Raven covers Essa for the three and rolls him out of the ring. Raven joins him but leaves him alone. He starts digging under the ring and tosses various plunder into the ring as Michael Cole throws it to commercial.
It comes back, Finlay music is playing as he enters the ring with his little club thing in hand. Raven grabs a bat and drives it into the midsection of a running Finlay. Finlay falls t his knees, coughing but doesn’t drop his club.
Tazz: Geez Cole I think the wind flying out of Finlay blew your hair gel out.
Finlay is back on his feet and Raven tosses the bat. He kicks Finlay into the corner and kicks him a few times before backing up. He runs and hits Finlay with a Clothesline. He backs out hoping Finlay stumbles forward but the Belfast Bruiser is still on his feet, albeit slightly groggy, on the corner. Raven runs at him again and gets clubbed right in the side of the jaw. Raven goes right down, holding his jaw.
Cole: Good lord! Raven may have a broken jaw!
Finlay drops the club and pulls Raven to his feet. He slings him over his shoulder, sliding his arm around Ravens head. He runs forward and jumps, dropping Raven into a trash can he brought into the ring and covers him for the three.
Finlay picks him up and tosses him out of the ring as Test slides into the ring without his music being played. Finlay turns around and the two began to trade fists. Test wins and picks Finlay up and slams him onto a chair Raven tossed in the ring. Test looks around the ring at the various plunder and walks over and picks up a Kendo Stick. He holds it up to cheers Finlay crawls over to the corner behind his back and picks up his club.
Test walks over and cracks him with the stick. Finlay tenses in pain but stand sup. He turns slowly and cracks Test in the knee with the club. The big men winces but cracks Finlay in the midsection with the stick. Finlay bashes his knee two more times. Test drops the stick and hobbles backwards. Finlay takes him to the mat with a leg tackle and the two roll around the ring, trading punches.
The begin to stand up, each man choking the other. Test punches Finlay. Finlay punches Test.
Finlay low blows Test and scoops him onto his shoulders and hits another Kryptonite Krunch and covers him for three.
Cole: Finlays on a roll and there’s only one more competitor left in the Gauntlet. Who will face Funaki for The Hardcore Title at Fully Loaded, find out next!
It goes to commercial and comes back on Steve Williams making his way to the ring. Finlay gets impatient and runs out of the ring , meeting Doc at the halfway point of the ramp and the two begin to slug away at each other.
Doc wins the exchange by picking Finlay up in his shoulders and throwing him away. Finlay lands on his feet at first but stumbles down the rest of the ramp and falls to the floor. He’s back up fairly quick and Doc takes him out with a vicious Shoulder Tackle.
Cole: Good lord…
Tazz: Finlay should just be glad he didn’t hit his head.
Doc shakes his arms as he spins around getting the crowd to cheer. He walks over and pulls the steps away from the turnbuckle post, seemingly setting them up for something. Finlay looks under the ring while Doc is busy. He comes out with a toolbox. He waits until Doc is walking back to over to hurl the box into Docs midsection.
Doc backs up, hunched over. Finlay hooks him and Suplexs him onto the floor. Both men lay on the floor, Finlay is panting, sweating. Doc is up first, Finlay is up not long after. Doc picks him in a Gorilla Press and dumps him back first onto the stairs. The crowd oohs, and Finlay holds his back sitting up on the edge of the stairs. Doc poses and grabs him by the hair. Finlay rakes his eyes to a round of boos. Doc backs up, holding his eyes. Finlay takes a moment to recover. He grabs Doc by the wrist and pulls him forward and little before driving him back first into the apron.
He kicks him in the midsection a few times and Irish Whips him towards the barricade but Doc reverses, sending him ribs first into the barricade. He quickly turns him around and scoops him up on his shoulder. He rams Finlay back into the turnbuckle post, the crowd oohs. Doc back up and runs, Powerslamming Finlay onto the stairs. The crowd ooh louder and cheer when Doc gets the win.
He’s announced as the winner and stands up, the ref raises his arm but Doc pulls it away and requests a mic. He’s handed one and slides into the ring.
Willaims: Funaki at Fully Loaded, no weapons, no falls count anywhere, just you and me and we will put the wrestling into Hardcore wrestling.
A majority of the crowd boo.
Williams: And when I stand tall as the proud Hardcore Champion, I will also be keeping my eye on the horizon. Whoever may walk with a belt on that show, I’m coming for your title.
He drops the mic and poses to a mixed reaction. It. It cuts to the back to the door Austin entered. He storms out and the cameraman tried to get his attention but Austin ignores him and keeps walking to the parking lot. Cole ponders what Austin was doing here tonight before plugging the main event, Rhyno and Chris Jericho for the Number One Contendership to Big Shows IC Title. Chris Jerichos music begins to play to a big round of cheers.
He’s introduced but he doesn’t come out. They rewind his song and Tony Chimel reintroduces him. Again Jericho doesn’t come out. About a minute passes before Jericho stumbles out from the back, bleeding from his nose. Rhyno isn’t far behind and the crowd boo as he grabs Y2J by the hair and throws him, ribs first, into the barricade. Jericho backs up and falls down, holding his midsection, coughing.
Rhyno pounds his chest and holds his arms, Jericho crawls towards the ring. Rhyno follows and grabs Jericho by the hair again. He stands him up and Irish Whips him into the stairs shoulder first.
Cole: Rhyno is hellbent at getting on his rematch.
Tazz: And he’ll hurt any s.o.b. stupid enough to stand in his way.
Jericho is panting, sitting against the apron, holding his shoulder. Rhyno grabs the camera.
Rhyno: Big Show, that title will be…
The crowd cheer as Jericho runs up behind and kicks him between the legs. Rhyno falls to his knees, holding his crotch. Jericho stomps on his back a few times.
Jericho: Cmon mother****** you wanna fight, huh?
He stomps on his back again and tells one of the front row fans to move. He reaches over and pulls the fans chair over the barricade. He folds it and holds it against Rhynos throat. He stops after a brief argument with the ref. He gets in the refs face and pie faces him.
The two argue briefly before the ref sidesteps suddenly as Rhyno knocks Jericho down. He stomps on hi side before grabbing the chair and wailing away on Y2Js hips and back. He throws the chair down and goes under the ring.
Cole: What the hell is he looking for? Are these going to have an actual match?
Rhyno pulls out a lead pipe. He follows a crawling Jericho and whacks him across the back with it. Jericho yells in pain. He’s on knees now and Rhyno chokes him briefly with the pipe to a round of boos. The ref admonishes Rhyno urging him to get in the ring and actually start the match…Rhyno responds by clubbing him across the chest with the pipe. The crowd boo as the ref goes down.
Tazz: Oh man, now hells really gonna break loose!
Jericho is back on his feet, most of the lower part of his face, covered in blood from his nose. Rhyno approaches and Jerichos backs away, begging him off. The two round the corner and are front of the announcers table. Jericho suddenly grabs one of the monitors and chucks it at Rhyno to a pop. Rhyno goes down and Jericho squats, holding onto the table to catch his breath.
Y2J stands up and pulls Rhyno to his feet, he’s now bleeding from the forehead. Jericho rolls him into the ring and grabs the pipe before rolling in after him.
Cole: Can we get a ref down here to restore law and order before one of these men hurt themselves or someone else?
Tazz: McDevitt probably passed out somewhere in Standford.
Tazz chuckles. Rhyno, on spaghetti legs, stands and ounces Jericho. Jericho backs up and drops the pipe. He returns the right hand and the two trade fists. Rhyno suddenly pushes Jericho away and Gores the replacement ref before he can ring the bell.
Jericho brandishes the pipe again as Rhyno stands. He tries to choke him with it but Rhyno blocks it and elbows Y2J in the stomach. Jericho backs up and Rhyno hits the ropes. He tries for a Gore but Jericho cracks him across the back with the pipe and Rhyno spills out of the ring holding his back.
Jericho drops the pipe hits and runs, diving through the top and middle rope, taking out Rhyno. He quickly crawls on top of Rhyno and lays into him with right hands. He hops to his feet and plays to the crowd to a round of cheers.
He pulls Rhyno up and teases throwing him into the ring but throws him over the announcers table, Cole and Tazz barely make it out of the way. Jericho kneels to catch his breath. He stands up and and rolls into the ring as a third ref runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. He calls for the bell.
Jericho: Start the count…start the count!
The ref obliges. At the count of four Jericho yells at him to speed up. He sits against the middle and bottom ropes, wiping some of the blood away from nose. Rhyno is up at the count of six. He pushes his hair out of his bloody face and flips the table over. He storms across the floor and runs into the ring. Jericho stands and the two begin to wail at each other with right hands.
Rhyno grabs Jericho by throat. Jericho tries to get free before deciding to choke Rhyno as well. The two fall into the corner and the ref tries to pull them apart. The camera zooms in and Rhynos hands slowly slip off of Jerichos throat. The ref is able to pull Jericho off after this. He backs him into a neutral and admonishes him before checking on Rhyno.
Jericho moves in and agin the ref stops, pushing him back. The crowd boo. Rhyno quickly rolls to his feet and charges Y2J, hitting him with the Gore and covers him for three.
Tazz: By God, I never thought I’d see intelligent wrestling from Rhyno!
He stands and the ref raises his arm. Rhyno looks at him.
Chimel: Here is your winner…
Rhyno shoves the ref away and picks Jericho up. He tosses him out of the ring to a round of boos. He leaves the ring and grabs Jericho by the hair and drags him up the ramp. He lets go at the top of the stage and backs up, hunching over.
Cole: Oh my God what the hell is he about to do?
Tazz: I think I have an idea Cole.
Cole: Oh don’t tell me…
Jericho slowly stands up as Rhyno eggs him on. He turns and Rhyno charges, Goring him through the set. The crowd pop in surprise. The announcers are speechless. The camera zooms in on both, laying in the wreckage, both bloody to some degree. The show fades to black.

After the opening of Raw, it goes right to the ring. J.R. introduces himself and Paul Heyman off camera as Steve Williams music plays and he jogs out from the back.
J.R.: Back on SmackDown, Doc won a Gauntlet match for the right to challenge Funaki for the Hardcore Title at next months Fully Loaded PPV. Afterwards he challenged Funaki to help put the wrestling back in hardcore wrestling, but he also sent a message to Every their male champion on the roster that their title was his next goal. Ultimo Dragon heard this and granted Doc a match here tonight for the WWF European Title.
Ultimo Dragons music hits as Doc bounces off the ropes. Dragon pauses for his pyro and continues down the ramp as he's introduced. In the ring, he poses on the turnbuckle before hopping down and handing the title off while removing his cape. The ref holds the belt up and hands it off, calling for the bell.
J.R.: A unique match up. Ultimo Dragon will have to change up his approach if he wants to keep his title. Both men are technically sound but there is a clear size and power difference, Dragon would be smart to stay moving as much as possible.
The two circle each other and doc goes for Dragons legs but Dragon moves away quickly and kicks Doc in the shoulder while he's still kneeling. The crowd ooh. Doc chuckled and stands up.
The two circle each other again but this time it's Dragon that moves in, stiffly chopping Doc before moving away again. They in go for a lock up but Dragon ducks under Docs arms and hits the ropes. Doc turns and Dragon hits him with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Dragon is quickly back on his and climbs to the top rope. Doc stands and Dragon hits him with a Missile Dropkick.
Doc staggers back and falls to one knee. Again Dragon is up quick and lays into Docs arm with kicks. On the last one Doc catches Dragons leg and takes him down to the mat. He covers him and gets a close two count before Dragon kicks out. Doc immediately locks in a modified Bearhug.
Dragon slowly manages to get to his feet, Doc still holding on. He tries to break the hold to no avail and Doc picks him up and turns, slamming him on the mat, still in the Bearhug.
Dragon manages to get to his feet again. He throws his elbow back, nailing Doc in the nose, causing him to break his hold. Dragon tris to run forward but Doc grabs him by the mask and pulls into a Side Headlock. Dragon squirms free and runs, ducking a Clothesline.
Doc follows him and Dragon grabs the top and middle rope and swings his feet into Docs midsection. He backs up and gets on one knee, Dragon catches his breath for a brief moment.
He climbs to the top as Doc stands up. He dives off and catches Doc with a Hurricanrana. Doc hits the mat and rolls out of the ring. Dragon stands up, and plays to the crowd. He gets out on the apron as Doc recovers his bearings. Dragon jumps onto the second rope and hits Doc with an Asai Moonsault to pop.
Dragon is up first and rolls into the ring. Doc is up at the count of six and rushes into the ring. He keeps charging as he gets in the ring but Dragon nails him with a Dropkick. Both men are up quickly. Dragon kicks Docs legs four times before hitting a Jumping Back Kick into his chest. He poses before grabbing Docs leg and applying a Single Leg Boston Crab.
Doc crawls to the ropes but instead manages to roll over onto his back, Dragon holding onto his leg. Dragon immediately spins around and drops against Docs leg. Doc yells in pain and Dragon cranks on his leg. He stands up and dies it again, Doc yells again. Dragon stands again and reapplies the Boston Crab, dragging Doc away from the ropes.
Heyman: I thought Dragon may have made a mistake taking it to the mat but now he's got a focus. If Doc has only working leg, he can't hit The Doctor Bomb or the Powerslam.
J.R.: Knowing Doc he'll still hit them but they won't have the same power as usual.
Doc crawls for the ropes again but manages to roll and push Dragon off with his other foot. He backs up to the ropes and starts pulling himself up as Dragon charades him. Doc raises his foot and Dragon runs into, staggering backwards.
He kicks his leg back and forth for a brief moment and runs at Dragon. Dragon Dropkicks Docs knee and he staggers on one leg for more,nt before falling out the mat, holding his bad leg.
Dragon poses for the crowd as Doc starts to get up. He locks in a Dragon Sleeper but Doc turns and picks him up for a Powerslam to a pop. His leg is shaky but he still manages to hit the move. He rolls away holding his leg before covering Dragon for only a two count. Williams catches his breath for a moment before climbing to the top rope as Dragon slowly gets to his feet.
J.R.: Doc in unfamiliar territory here...
Dragon runs and jumps onto the second rope, clubbing Docs back. Doc pushes him off but Dragon lands on his feet and pushes Docs leg, crotching him on the top rope. Dragon gets on the apron and climbs up behind Doc. He hits a Dragonrana and covers him for the win.
He rolls over and sits up a he's announced as the winner. The ref hands him the title and raises his hand. Dragons that's up and poses with the title, the crowd cheer. Doc rolls out of the ring, holding his leg.
It briefly cuts back to Dragon celebrating before cutting to a promo from Edge and Christian. They proclaim that even if B.O.D. win at Fully Loaded there priority will still be KroniK.
It cuts back to the ring where Hardcore Hollys music is playing and he's standing in the ring as a name graphic appears beneath him. His music stops and Ravens begins to play.
Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it will be contested under Hardcore rules! Introducing first, already in the ring Hardcore Holly...
He poses to a mild pop as Raven begins to unload his shopping cart of weapons and toss them into the ring while he's introduced. He rolls in and poses. The ref calls for the bell and Raven and Hardcore both pick up a weapons. A cooking sheet for Hardcore, and a Bowling pin for Raven. There's a sudden surge in crowd energy as security speeds past the ring.
: Stop! Let me go! Raven! Raven! Scott!
Raven suddenly motions for the security to let the woman into the ring. She grabs a mic before entering the ring and standing in front of Raven.
: You don't have to do this, you're better then this. You're above beating yourself senseless with weapons night in and night out. I know you've brined your bridges with Vince but please stop this! You can be so much more! Intercontinental Champion, Tag Team Champion. I think it Raven, make them think it too...
She drops her arms to her side. Ravens attention doesn't move from her as he tosses down the baking sheet. The mystery woman smiled and hugs Raven. Hardcore rolls his eyes and pushes her aside and down to the mat. Raven kicks him in the stomach and hits an Evenflow DDT and covers him for the three.
He's announced the winner as his music starts playing. He moves off of Hardcore, still kneeling, staring at the mystery woman, smiling and applauding softly.
J.R.: Raven wins the match and the adoration of this mystery woman.
Heyman: He's not going to be too happy after she gets tossed from the building.
Both of them stand up and Raven leaves the ring followed by the woman. The two head to the back as the camera cuts to the back. Jerry Lynn and Hayabusa are standing by with Kevin Kelly.
Kelly: Low Ki had made his mission to get a shot at the WWF Lightheavyweight title and he recently recruited Psicosis as an associate. The two jumped you Champ and Hayabusa stepped up and helped you out.
Lynn: Absolutely and I owe him one...
Hayabusa looks down at the belt and then back up at Lynn who meets his gaze. Hayabusa holds his fingers close together. Lynn takes a deep breath and turns back to the camera.
[/b]Lynn[/b]: But that's a matter for another day. Tonight we got Low Ki and Psicosis in a tag team match, so that's our main focus. The match at Judgement Day between us was out of respect and even though he came close, I think we can pull it out tonight.
Kelly: One last question, with the return of Tajiri, the rampage of Low Ki, Hayabusa signing a contract , and Lightheavyweights from WCW and ECW joint the WWF, do you think you'll be able to handle the increasing pressure of being champion?
Lynn stares at him but doesn't answer and walks off. Hayabusa follows him, leaving Kelly puzzled.
It comes back on Scotty 2 Hotty already in the ring, taking off his entrance stuff as William Regals music begins to play to a round of boos. No smile, no waving. He walks to the ring, stoic. He walks right up to Scotty and slaps him, knocking him to the mat. The ref calls for the bell and Regal grabs Scotty by the hair and drives his elbow into the back of his neck.
J.R.: The Commissioner seems to be in a tad bit of bad mood and poor Scotty has to suffer for it.
Regal pulls Scotty up and Snapmares him then kicks him in the small of his back. He locks him in a Rear Chinlock, digging his knee into Scottys back. He pulls back a little. After a few seconds, Scotty stands up, turning it into a Side Headlock. He elbows Regal in the stomach to break the hold.
Scotty stands and punches regalia few times and backs him up against the ropes and Irish Whips him. As Regal comes back, Scotty flips him over with a Hip Toss. Regal sits up in pain, Scotty pushes him down and covers him for a one count. Scotty starts to stand up and pull Regal up when the lights go out.
Heyman: Here we go again!
The lights come back on, Sabu is in the middle of the ring pointing upwards. Scotty 2 Hotty is gone and Regal looks around and scoots towards the ropes ands scrambles out as gives chase. The two run through the crowd and out of sight.
It cuts to the back where Micheal Cole is standing by with Low Ki and Psicosis. Psicosis grabs the mic and tells Cole to leave.
Psicosis: Jerry Lynn, Hayabusa we're going through the Lightheavyweight division and you two really think it's smart to volunteer to get in the ring with us? Why don't you just make our job even easier and hand the title over to Low Ki. Pendajo.
He hands the mic to Ki and smirks. Ki just throws the mic out of the frame and leaves. Psicosis looks towards where he threw the mic then shrugs and follows Ki.
It comes back and the bell rings as Jerry Lynns music begins to play. Him and Hayabusa come out together but are introduced separately. Each pose on a turnbuckle once they're in the ring. Low Ki and Psicosis come out the same way to Low Kis music. Psicosis plays to the crowd before he enters the ring.
He walks over and piefaces Jerry Lynn before returning to returning to his corner where Ki is squatting looking at the mat as the two are introduced.
J.R.: Hell of a tag team match we have lined up here.
Hayabusa and Psicosis start off. The two circle and go into a lock up. They both push the other a little and Psicosis twists Hayabusas arm. Hayabusa reaches for his shoulder but rolls forward. Psicosis stands on his hair and throws his arm down to the mat.
He walks away, posing. The crowd boo and Hayabusa sits against the ropes, rubbing his arm. Hayabusa stands up and Psicosis walks back over. Hayabusa drives three forearms into his jaw. He kicks him in the stomach and picks him for a Supex but Psicosis squirms out and backs up, elbowing Lynn and knocking him off the apron. Hayabusa runs at Psicosis but Psicosis lifts him and turns sitting him on the top rope.
Psicosis slaps him and backs up with a smirk and Hayabusa hops down and tags in Jerry Lynn. The two go in for a lock up but Lynn Arm Drags Psicosis and holds onto the arm. Psicosis punches his way free and rolls to his feet.
He runs at Lynn but Lynn moves and Psicosis jumps into the turnbuckle and flips to his feet. He immediately turns around and hits Lynn with a stiff Overhand Chop to oohs from the crowd. He kicks Lynn in the stomach and takes him to the mat with a Headlock Takeover.
Lynn reaches up with his legs and locks them around Psicosis neck to get him to release the hold. Psicosis pushes Lynns leg off and rolls to his feet. Psicosis tags in Low Ki and Lynn tags in Hayabusa. They circle each other quickly. Ki kicks at Hayabusas leg but Hayabusa jumps back.
They circle each other again and Hayabusa lunges for a Clothesline but Ki ducks it. Hayabusa spins around and gets chopped three times in the chest. He pushes Hayabusa into the ropes and the masked man bounces off and hits Ki with a Spinning Wheel Kick to a pop.
Hayabusa repositions Low Ki and climbs to the top rope. He tries for a Moonsault but Ki rolls out of the way towards the corner and Hayabusa lands on his feet. Ki stands up in the corner and Hayabusa charges him. Ki gets his foot up.
Hayabusa staggers back and Ki tags in Psicosis. Hayabusa is on one knee and Psicosis comes into the ring. Hayabusa springs up and turns mid-air, kicking Psicosis in the stomach. Hayabusa hits the ropes and Psicosis follows and Clothesline him over the top rope. Psicosis taunts the crowd as Lynn hops off the apron to check on Hayabusa.
J.R.: Hayabusa taking a nasty looking spill. Back on his feet though.
The camera pans out just in time to catch Psicosis crashing onto them with a Corkscrew Senton from the top rope. Psicosis rolls right up to his feet and taunts the crowd. His partner walks over and whispers something to him.
Heyman: Low Ki and Psicosis in control for that very reason. They're on the same page, I haven't seen Hayabusa and Jerry Lynn talk strategy once during this match.
They drag Hayabusa to his feet and pull him around to the side of the ring. Psicosis climbs onto the apron as Ki picks up Hayabusa and drops him, stomach first, against the barricade. Psicosis climbs onto the second rope and stands up. He poses and in the background Lynn climbs onto the other side of the second rope and grabs Psicosis by the hair.
He forces Psicosis onto the inside of the second rope and clubs him across the back. He flips over trying to Powerbomb Psicosis but he holds onto the top rope.
Ki runs in, lines up, and kicks the inside of Lynns knee. The LHW Champion crumbles holding his knee and screaming in pain.
J.R.: Good God did you hear that?!
Ki and Psicosis try to keep work over his leg, but he kicks them away and rolls out of the ring. The crowd suddenly pop. Ki and Psicosis turn around and get taken out with a Springboard Front Dropkick from Hayabusa. He rolls up to his feet and poses. Li is already pulling himself up using the ropes. Hayabusa grabs him and pulls him into a Suplex position and hits him with a Fishermans Buster.
Ki rolls out of the ring. Hayabusa poses again to a pop and turns around, getting nailed with a Superkick from Psicosis. The crowd ooh.
Heyman: Forget Lynns knee, did you hear that?!
Psicosis falls to all fours on the mat and slowly crawls over and covers Hayabusa.
The crowd pop as Lynn just barely breaks up the pinfall. All three are laying on the mat, panting. Lynn rolls onto all fours and crawls to the corner as Psicosis slowly rolls to his feet. Lynn pulls himself up and Psicosis charges across the ring and nails Lynn with a Dropkick. He falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring. Psicosis taunts him before turning around and getting bowled over with a Shotei.
J.R.: Hayabusa, with a huge last resort open hand Uppercut.
He stays on all fours for a bit before standing up. He pulls Psicosis away from the ropes and climbs to the toprope. He stands up and quickly dives off hitting a 450 Splash and covers Psicosis for the win. Lynn rolls into the ring and sits next to Hayabusa, raising his arm.
Heyman: A temporary speed bump on Low Kis path to becoming Light Heavyweight Champion or...is...he...J.R. what the hell are doing?
It cuts the commentator table, J.R. is holding his head set and looking to the side as Heyman sits puzzled.
J.R.: Alright...alright! Folks no disrespect to Hayabusa or Jerry Lynn but I've gotten word that there's chaos in the back, we're trying to uh...
It cuts to a camera backstage.
J.R.: There we go...
"Stone Cold"Steve Austin has caught Booker T alone and stomping on him as Booker tries to fight back. Michael Hayes comes into the room and tris to pull Austin off only to receive a right hand to the jaw for his troubles.
J.R.: Good lord, Hayes is down! And look at Booker!
Booker clubs Austin from behind and stomps on him. Austin grabs Bookers foot and drags him to the floor as the two trade punches and refs and road agents scramble in to break the two up. The show slowly cuts to commercial as they get them almost separated , Austin has a firm grasp on Bookers dreads trying to push the refs and agents away.
The show come back on Austin alone in the parking lot, his shirt torn slightly.
Austin: I'm tired of this crap! The Rock, Edge and Christian, Taker and Kane, these bungholes wanna run roughshod over our roster and Vince waits over a month to get off his old ass and do something about it. Sting will be back, I know that and deep down Vince knows that too. So while everyone else is sitting around here with their thumbs up their ass I'm taking the fight to them. On Thursday night, I don't care who it is, I want one of those WCW guys one-on-one in the ring.
It cuts back to the commentators, Heyman lets out a quiet whisper and moves "wow".
J.R.: Steve Austin never the one to mince words challenging one of the members of Team WCW to an official...
*STAND BACK THERES A HURRICANE COMING THROUGH!*
Both commentators look confused and t cuts away to the stage, a logo resembling a hurricane with an H in the middle of it appears on the titantron. Hurricane in full costume hops out from behind the curtain and poses with his fists on his hips. He walks down the ramp, high fiving fans as he's introduced.
He poses on the top rope, his opponent Saturn is already in the ring. Hurricane hopped down and Saturn attacks him from behind. The ref calls for the bell as Saturn stomps on Hurricane whose slouched in the corner. Saturn pulls him up and whips him across the ring. Saturn runs after him but Hurricane throws his foot up. Saturn staggers back.
Hurricane runs forward and takes him down with a Clothesline. Saturn rolls right up and take another Clothesline. Saturn rolls right up and Hurricane charges again but gets pushed into the air. Saturn moves to let him crash to the mat.
Heyman: And here I thought he wouldn't be able to fly.
Hurricane slowly gets up on his knees, holding his gut. Saturn grabs him by the hair and pulls him up. He turns him around and Hurricane grabs Saturn by the throat and Chokeslams him to pop and covers him for the three.
J.R.: Well I'll be damned. He didn't even take his cape off!
He's announced as the winner and shakes the refs hand, holding a thumbs up to the camera. The crowd boo though as Booker T slide into the ring, grabs him by the hair and tosses him out of the ring. He yells for a microphone and he's handed one. He pulls off the WWF square and throws it on the mat and steps in it.
Booker: Austin you want you fight. You're on! Just me and you.
He throws the mic down and leaves the ring and leaves through the crowd.
