(I really want to take my time with the remaining three matches so God only knows how long that’ll actually take. So for now, I’m uploading what I have right now for SummerSlam and I’ll update this post with the final three matches when they’re done. This is hopefully the last time I halfass this sim)
WWF SummerSlam 2001
The opening video package focuses on the main two feuds, Taz and his chance to win the WWF Title from Diamond Dallas Page, and Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Sting featuring footage of them from their years together in WCW and Austin’s Anti-WCW promos in ECW.
In the arena, pyro goes off from the stage and ring. The camera the raucous San Jose crowd and J.R. introduces himself and Paul Heyman. The camera goes to the stage as the Monday Night Raw theme plays. Tony Chimel announces that the match is a Battle Royal to crown the next challenger for Rhynos Intercontinental Title later in the show.
WWF Intercontinental Title Number One Contender Battle Royal
Leading the charge is Mike Awesome, followed by Bam Bam Bigelow, Steve Williams, Rob Van Dam, Steve Corino, Tajiri, Rikishi, Finlay, Matt Hardy, both Holly Cousins, former champion Big Show, Saturn, Chris Jericho, Jerry Lynn, Hurricane, The Impact Players, X-Pac, and Albert. As the twenty men enter the ring both J.R. and Heyman predict victory for Steve Corino given his recent run of success.
With all twenty men in the ring, the refs outside calls for the bell. Williams and Awesome rush out of their corner and meet in the middle of the ring, each delivering a Clothesline. Neither man goes down but they do stagger. The Holly’s are quick to pounce on Williams while Awesome is dragged into a fight with The Impact Players.
In the chaos, no one notices Corino sneak under the bottom rope. The other nineteen brawl and soon Hurricane is thrown from the ring by Bam Bam. Wasting no time Bam Bam pulls Crash away from Steve Williams and begins to brawl with him.
Shortly there after, Bigelow hoists Crash into a Gorilla Press and tosses him out onto the Hurricane. The camera briefly focuses in on Corino before he bats it away. Jericho attempts to throw Lynn out but Lynn fights off Jericho and kicks him in the stomach. He tries for the Cradle Piledriver but Jericho counters, Back Body Dropping him out of the ring. Just as quickly Jericho is pushed over by Saturn. He curses as Lynn smirks and slaps him upside the head. The refs intervene before th situation escalates.
The remaining fifteen continue to brawl and attempt to push each other the top. A few minutes go by before Hardcore Holly and X-Pac are both tossed out in quick succession by Mike Awesome. The camera moves to the other side of the ring where Justin Credible has been knocked through the ropes and is pulling a kendo stick out from under the ring.
He sneaks back into the ring and way lays Mike Awesome in the back but Awesome doesn’t budge. Credible rears back and swings for his mid-section, again Awesome barely reacts. Credible rears back again but Awesome grabs him by the throat. In the corner Lance Storm silently debates on answering his partners pleas for help or eliminating Tajiri.
Storm ultimate abandons Tajiri and runs over to help his tag team partner. He’s grabbed by the throat by Awesome. Awesome tries to Choke Slam them but they block it and low blow Awesome. Awesome grabs his balls and falls to his knees. The Impact Players recover for a bit before pulling Awesome back to his feet. They run him across the ring and toss him over the rope.
In the chaos, Saturn was also eliminated by Matt Hardy. Finlay begins to coral others and points to the Big Show and Rikishi. The big men share a glance as they look at the other eight ready to gang up on them. They both smirk and call the others over to try their best.
Several of them are easily tossed away by the big men and Show eliminates Matt Hardy, while Rikishi takes care of Finlay and Lance Storm. Shortly after Credible picks up the kendo stick and begins to lay into everyone whether they’re standing or not. He looks around and grabs the closest person to his size, RVD, and pulls him up. He throws him towards the ropes but RVD counters and tosses Justin over. Credible lands on his feet on the apron but he’s quickly pulled of by Corino.
Corino begins to gloat and catches Big Shows eye. Show calmly walks over, reaches over the rope, and pulls Corino onto the apron by his hair. He starts to pull Corino in but Corino goes to eyes. Show releases his grip and rubs his eyes as Corino tumbled to the mat and rolls back out of the ring.
A blinded Show is then dumped over the top by Steve Williams and Bam Bam. An angered Show turns his gaze toward Corino. Corinos smirk fades as he begins to back away from the giant.
Corino: Paul man, be smart about this. I-I-I have cash, just please back off...
Show stops for a moment before charging at Corino. Corino runs and slides into the ring and right into a Thrust Kick from Rikishi. Corino flops to the mat spread eagle. Rikishi smirks and grabs him by the hair, he drags him over and dumps his limp body over the top rope.
The brawling begins anew. Albert attempts to eliminate Heymans second pick, RVD to no avail. Van Dam fights him off and Williams takes care of the rest, dumping over the top. RVD and Tajiri share a look and nod at each other. They both stand behind Doc and Dropkick him over the top.
Each of the final four takes a corner and stares down each other. Bam Bam makes the first move followed by Rikish as the two big men meet in the middle of the ring with a Shoulder Block. They stare down for a bit before trading Uppercuts. Bam Bam retaliates with a kick to the mid-section only to get chopped in the throat by Rikishi. Bam Bam backs off, holding his throat and coughing. Rikishi grabs him by the shirt and tries to drag him to the ropes.
Bam fights and grabs Rikishi by the waist of his thong. Both end up staggering towards the ropes. They continue to punch at one another as the lean against the ropes, their massive frames dipping the top rope. Tajiri and RVD share another look and quickly head over to finish the job and dump Bam Bam and Rikishi out of the ring. Tajiri and RVD both quickly retreat away form the ropes as the crowd cheer for the final two. They circle each other, both clearly tired. RVD throws the first shot, a high roundhouse kick but Tajiri pulls away.
RVD quickly gets his footing back and faces the Japanese Buzzsaw. Tajiri puts his hands in the air and approaches the middle of the ring. He slowly lowers one hand, holding it to Van Dam. RVD approaches and Tajiri kicks him in the jaw. The crowd boo as RVD staggers and falls to one knee.
Tajiri points and laughs at Van Dam before kicking him again. He backs up as RVD, now on both knees, sways back and forth. Tajiri rushes forward and kicks RVD with both feet in the face. The crowd ooh as RVD collapses to the mat.
Heyman: I can practically read Tajiri mind, he thinks he has this in the bag and it’s hard to disagree.
Tajiri takes a moment before getting back to his feet. He grabs Van Dam by the hair and slowly pulls him. He drags a near-limp RVD towards the ropes but RVD stops him cold with a low blow.
Tajiri drops his grip and falls to his knees. They stare at each other as Tajiri collapses to the mat. RVD flips him off before collapsing himself. The crowd egg both men for a minute or before they both slowly rise to their feet.
Tajiri hits RVD with a forearm strike, and RVD quickly returns the favor. Tajiri hits him with another one that cause RVD to tense up. RVD shakes it off and hits Tajiri with five quick strikes. Tajiri backs off and squats. He waits for Vand Dam to drop his guard before attempting a surprise Clothesline. RVD ducks it and tries for a Side Kick but Tajiri catches his foot. He throws it away and ducks RVD Spinning Wheel Kick.
RVD quickly gets up and charges towards Tajiri only to be sprayed with the green mist. RVD flails and rubs his eyes. He ends stumbling and tie;ping over his own feet. He falls through the ropes onto the apron. A tired Tajiri knees and smirks.
He joins Van Dam on the apron and RVD begins to swing his hands wildly toward the green blur in front of him. Tajiri stands just far enough back and mocks Van Dam. One of the wild shots connects with Tajiri jaw and knocks off the apron but Tajiri grabs the rope and hangs on
With Tajiri staggered RVD slowly moves his foot around and gently and slowly goes through the ropes again. He kneels in the mat, rubbing at his eyes. Tajiri joins back in the ring and slumps into the corner. He watches as RVD stands and again begins to swing wildly.
Tajiri smirks and pulls himself up. He slowly approaches RVD. RVD smirks as he hears Tajiri and throws his foot back into Tajiri jaw. The crowd cheer as Tajiri falls to the mat. RVD falls to one knee, panting. He looks over at the turnbuckle and stands up. He points to his shoulders as the crowd chant his initials.
He grabs Tajiri by the foot and pulls him a little closer. Van dam slowly exits the ring and almost loses his balance. He mange’s to stay upright and struggles to the top rope. The crowd are buzzing as he points to his shoulders again. From the mat Tajiri sprays another mist into the air to block Van Dams line of sight. Tajiri stands up and rushes through the fog to push RVD off the top rope. Van Dam lands rib first against the rope and then falls to the floor. The ref calls for the bell and the crowd boo while Heyman applauds Tajiris genius.
As Tajiri continues to celebrate, J.R. throws it to a video package of KroniKs reign over the tag team division since debuting. It leads straight into the entrance of the WWF Tag Team Champions as the crowd boos.
WWF Women’s Title Fatal Four Way Match Trish Stratus vs. Lita vs. Ivory vs. Daffney(c)

In the ring Ivory and Trish lock up. Ivory drives her knee into Trisha midsection and then throws her to the mat by her hair. She tries for a cover but only gets a one count. She immediately tries again and doesn’t even get a one.
She runs over to the ropes and stops Lita from re-entering the ring. Lita returns to the floor and tries to pull ivory out but ivory kicks her off inot the guardrail.
Trish pulls herself up in the corner as Daff sneaks back into the ring. She waits for Trish to walk away from the corner before attacking her from behind. She stays on top of Trish and lays into her with forearm strikes.
She quickly ties Trish up into a Delfin Clutch and almost gets the win but Ivory breaks it up. She pulls Daff to her feet and clubs her across the back knocking her to one knee. Ivory has the ropes and Daff springs up and takes her over with a Hurricanrana.
Daff gets to her feet and turns right into a chop from Trish. Trish chops her again before booting her in the stomach. Daff falls to her knees and Trish tries for a DDT but Ivory pulls her off and School Boys her for a two count.
Trish rolls up and Ivory tackles her and the two spill out of the ring, as Lita returns to the ring. She observes Trisha and Ivory fighting outside the ring and smirks. She starts to hype up the crowd. As she turns around Daff hits her with a Spin Kick and covers her for the three. The crowd boo as Daffs theme plays and she’s announced as the winner. She’s handed the belt and begins to celebrate.
Singles Match Dean Malenko vs. Eddie Guerrero
The history between the two men is displayed early as neither can get a leg up on the other and Dean doesn’t fall for Eddies tricks. The two take to the mat and eventually Eddie catches Dean off guard and succeeds with an eye rake. Eddie takes control and quickens the pace. He begins to get angry and yells about Dean choosing someone else for his final opponent atSurvivor Series. Eddie slows the match down, working over Deans mid-section. Dean eventually comes back, goes strike-for-strike, hold-for-hold, and Suplex-for-Suplex with Eddie before surprising him with a School Boy into the Texas Cloverleaf for the submission victory.
WWF Intercontinental Title Match Tajiri vs. Rhyno(c)

He pulls Rhyno out of the corner and the champ falls to his knees. Tajiri nails a Buzzsaw Kick and pins Rhyno, becoming IC Champion for the first time.
WWF Lightheavyweight Title Six Man Gauntlet Match
Juventued Guerrera and Psicosis begin the match. Juvi goes to the well with highflying and quick offense maneuvers. This eventually leads Psicosis outside of the ring. Juvi sprints across the ring and flips over the ropes onto Psicosis. Unfortunate, he appears to land badly in his leg and is unable to meet the refs ten count while Psicosis beat it at seven.
Next out is Nunzio, and Psicosis wastes no time jumping on him. Psicosis dominates for a few minutes before Nunzio takes it to the mat and works over Psicosis’ arm and leg. Psicosis battles through the pain and manages to put Nunzio away with a Guillotine Leg Drop.
Champion Low Ki is out next. Despite the previous working relationship between the two, Ki holds nothing back and brutalizes Psicosis with stiff strikes before putting the battered Luchador away with a Ki Krusher.
Super Crazy is out next and him and Ki immediately go to war. The two pull out everything in their arsenals for five minutes before Ki is caught off guard with a Moonsault and eliminated by Crazy.

WWF Tga Team Titles Iron Man Table Match The Dudley Boyz (Big Dick and Spike Dudley) vs. KroniK (Brian Adams and Bryan Clarke)(c)
After fourteen minutes and fifty seconds, the chaotic and wild match is tied 8-8. Broken pieces of table litter the outside and inside of the ring as Big Dick closed in on sealing a Dudley’s win. Then Edge and Christian made their presence known, taking out Spike and distracting Dick. This leads to a High Times through a table to give KroniK the lead and the win 9-8.
WWF Title Match Tazz vs. Diamond Dallas Page (c)
The two competitors take their positions. Tazz folds his arms and stares a hold through DDP throughout his introduction. DDP, likewise, doesn’t budge as he’s introduced. The ref holds the title in front of both men before raising it into the air. He hands it off and calls for the ball. DDP pulls himself up and the two begin to circle each other.
DDP goes in for a lock up, but Tazz ducks behind and launches him onto his front with a Release German Suplex. DDP gets right to his knees, clutching at his ribs and staring daggers at Tazz. The Human Suplex Machine folds his arms and returns the glare.
DDP shakes off the Suplex and the two begin to circle again. DDP again goes in for the lock up only for Tazz to duck behind him. Tazz tries for another Suplex but DDP fights it off and bails out of the ring. He walks around ringside while Tazz barks at him from the ring. He finally manages to push himself enough to turn the hold knot a Schoolboy. Tazz kicks him off at one and relinquishes the hold. Both men roll up and DDP charges Tazz. He hits a Clothesline that sends both men over the ropes and to the floor.
The ref begins to count as both lay out on the floor. DDP is up first and rolls into the ring. As Tazz stands up, DDP begins to call him back into the ring. Tazz doesn’t hesitate and slides back into the ring.
DDP meets him halfway with a knee to the gut, followed with a Short-Arm Clothesline. He pulls him back after playing to the mixed crowd. He tries for another Clothesline but Tazz ducks it and locks in the Tazzmission. DDP fights it and manages to back Tazz into the ropes. The ref begins his count and Tazz cautiously releases the hold. DDP turns around and backs away from Tazz.
The two begin to circle each other again. They lock up but before Tazz can connect with a Suplex, DDP drives his knee into the challengers mid-section and whips him into the ropes. Tazz bounces off and DDP pushes him into the air and let’s him drop to the mat. Tazz bounces up and DDP grabs his wrist and pulls him back to his feet.
He spins Tazz around and hits him with German Suplex of his own. He covers him but only gets a two count. He stands up and plays to the crowd briefly before turning Tazz slightly. He climbs up to the top rope and jumps off, landing on Tazz for a two count. Frustrated, he sits Tazz up and locks in a Corba Clutch.
[Ross]: Dallas reaching deep into his bag tricks, trying to keep Tazz grounded and unable to toss him around.
After a minute or two, Tazz begins to stand up, pushing DDP back. He turns around and turns it into a Release Northern Lights Suplex. DDP grabs his back and sits up. Tazz wastes no time grabbing him by the waist, pulling him up to his feet, and tossing him with a German Suplex.
Dallas rolls towards the ropes but Tazz follows and begins to lay the boots to him. He grabs Page by the hair and drags him towards the middle of the ring. DDP begins to lay into Tazz s mid-section with rapid fire punches. Tazz releases Pages hair and hits the ropes, then kicks Page in the jaw. DDP staggers but stays on his knees. Tazz hits the ropes and kicks him again. Once again DDP definitely stays on his knees and spits at Tazz. Tazz wipes the loogie off and hits the ropes. This time, DDP stands up and pushes Tazz into the air and connects with a Diamond Cutter as Tazz comes down. The crowd pop and DDP celebrates briefly before covering Tazz for the win.
Grudge Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Sting
Austin paces in the ring, having already thrown his vest outside of the ring. Stings music begins to play and the crowd cheer. The camera moves around for a bit before finding Sting at the top of a staircase in the crowd. He points his bat towards Austin and begins his descent. As he reaches the halfway point, Austin leaves the ring and hops the barricade. Sting swings his bat but Austin ducks it, and spins the Stinger around. He lays into him with right hands but stops to flip off allowing sting to get a kick in.
Sting lifts the bat but Austin locks onto his waist and drives him into the barricade, forcing the bat out of Stings hands. Austin drives his shoulder into Stings mid-section before standing up. He backs up a little and then Clothesline’s Sting over the barricade, following right behind him.
Sting rolls to his feet, and tries to get his jacket off. Austin graciously lends him a hand and throws the jacket into the crowd. He follows Sting over to the announce table, grabs him by the hair, and tries to slam his face into the table but Sting blocks it and instead slams Austin’s face into the table.
Austin lays on the table for a second. Sting grabs him by the head and throws him back first into the apron, then ribs first into the edge of the announce table. Austin falls to the floor clutching his mid-section. Sting approaches and Austin tries to keep at bay by throwing wild kicks in Stings direction.
Austin manages to hold Sting at bay long enough to pull himself up with aid from the guardrail. Sting approaches and is met with a chop followed by another and another. Austin grabs Stings wrist, moves him around and whips him towards the barricade but Sting reverses it. Austin hits the guardrail with a thud. Sting suddenly comes jumping into frame but Austin moves and Sting crashes ribs first against the barricade.
Sting clutches his mid-section and stumbles back. Austin cracks him across the back with a steel chair that sends him face planting to the floor. He continues to wail on Sting with the chair before the ref forces it out of his hands.
Undeterred, Austin begins to stomp away at Sting before pulling him up by his hair. Austin rams him face first into the turnbuckle post and gives Sting no time to recover before grabbing him again, and running into the next turnbuckle post. Austin let’s Sting fall to the floor as he walks way and plays to the crowd. Austin rolls into the ring and begins to pace as the ref checks on Sting.
J.R.: This is just as wild and unruly as I expected and the match hasn’t even officially begun.
Heyman: There won’t be a winner here J.R., only a survivor.
Sting shoves the ref away and gets into the ring. The ref calls for the bell as they two begin to exchange right hands again. Sting wins out and hits Austin in the mid-section three times with the side of his hand. He hits the ropes and hits Austin with a Bulldog. He quickly stands up and screams out of the crowd, getting a big pop.
He picks Austin up and throws him into the nearest corner. He climbs onto the second rope and rains down on Austin with punches. After the ninth lunch Austin walks forward, holding Sting by the legs. He turns a little and drops Sting throat first onto the top rope.
Sting stumbles, choking and holding his throat. Austin bounces off the ropes and hits a quick Clothesline. He covers Sting for a one count and goes back to hitting Sting with right hands, and stomps.
The ref tris to intervene but Austin springs up, grabs him by the shirt and he tosses him out of the ring. Sting starts to stand up, and catches an approaching Austin with a surprise Dropkick.
J.R.: There is no quit in the Stinger. The man has stood toe-to-toe with them all, Ric Flair, Vader, Great Muta, Hulk Hogan, and he’s never backed down from any of them and Austin isn’t gonna be the first.
Austin rolls out of the ring as Sting plays to the crowd and recovers. As soon as he spots Austin, Sting takes off and jumps over the top rope landing on Austin. He’s quickly back to his feet and pulls Austin up, and tosses him back into the ring.
He follows him in immediately and tries for a cover but Austin fights out of it. Austin pulls himself up using the ropes and Sting stands back. As Austin steadies himself, he stares down with the Stinger.
Sting pushes his straps down and tells Austin to bring it. Justin throws a punch but Sting ducks it. He immediately tries for a Scorpion Death Drop but Austin wiggles out and rolls Sting up, transitioning into a Sharpshooter attempt. Sting fights it off and both men roll to their feet.
Austin nails a stiff chop that barely fazes Sting. Sting yells at him to chop him harder and Austin obliges. This time Sting returns a chop of his own. Austin retaliates with another chop that knocks sting to the mat for a few seconds. Sting rolls right up, yells and flexes.
Austin kicks him in the mid-section but Sting fights off the Stunner attempt and pushes Austin into the ropes. As Austin comes back Stings licks him in a Military Press and throws Austin down to the mat.
Sting yells to the crowd and climbs up to the top rope. He stands slowly, and tries for a splash but Austin gets his knees up. Sting rolls away, holding his ribs. Austin lays on the mat for a few seconds before slowly standing up as Sting also rises to his feet.
A dazed Sting walks toward Austin, and gets kicked in the mid-section. Austin hits the Stone Cold Stunner but Sting remains on his feet. Austin rolls over to trash talk but freezes when he sees Sting is still on his feet.
He hops hit, kicks Sting again, and nails another Stunner. This time Sting goes down and Austin covers. The crowd exploded as Sting kicks out at one. A shocked Austin stands up and confronts the ref.
Sting rolls Austin up and turns it into a Scorpion Deathlock despite Austin’s best attempts to ward off the move. After struggling in the hold, Austin slowly manages to crawl to the bottom rope, forcing Sting to break the hold. Sting let’s go without a fuss.
Austin slowly pulls himself up to his feet, and stumbles into the corner. Before he can recover, Sting shoots across the ring and nails a Stinger Splash. Austin falls out of the corner and Sting covers him for a one count.
Sting smirks and nods his head. He stands up and pulls Austin with him. He runs his thumb along his throat, but Austin fights back with strikes to the stomach. He stands up holding onto Stings arm and locks him in the Million Dollar Dream.
Sting struggles to break the hold but slowly begins to fade. He falls to both knees and the ref raises his arm. It falls right back down twice but on the third attempt Sting keeps his arm and powers back to his feet. He fights out of the hold and hits Austin with a Modified Atomic Drop, followed by a Dropkick. Austin rolls right to his feet in a daze. Sting finally manages to hit the Deathdrop and covers Austin for the win.
