After a seedy Atlantic City casino inspired opening that recaps the feud between WCW and WWF and Green Hero vs. Steve Austin, it cuts to an empty arena where Undertaker and Kane stand in the middle of the ring as referee Earl Hebner runs down the rules.
J.R.: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Fully Loaded live from East Rutherford, New Jersey. This footage was taped earlier before we opened the doors here tonight. I'm good old J.R. And I'm joined by Paul Heyman. We are waiting for KroniK to show up, WWF higher ups mandated that this Empty Arena Match at least begin in the ring.
Heyman: Such a unique type of match, a no holds barred, falls count anywhere throughout an empty building. And for the WWF Tag Team Titles too.
J.R.: Earl Hebner the referee for this match. He's been apart of a lot of wrestlings important matches and moments for at least twenty years.
Heyman: And this is how they repay the poor bastard.
Undertaker is pacing in the ring, taping his knuckles. The camera cuts backstage, KroniK are walking through the halls, the WWF Tag Titles around their waists. The camera cuts back to the ring, Taker pulls a chain out of his pocket and starts swinging it.
J.R.: A very real tension in the air for this one and I thank God I'm not at ringside for this one.
The screen splits and KroniK hand the titles to one of the agents and walk through the curtain. The split screen goes away as the champions nervously walk down the ramp. The two walk down to the ring and Brian Adams slide right in but Bryan Clark is hesitant.
Undertaker: Cmon boy!
Clark sneers and slowly climbs up the stairs and gets into the ring. Hebner calls for the bell and Taker swings the chain into the midsection of Clark. The wind rushes out of him as he backs up. Kane and Adams begin to trade fists as Taker pushes Clark out of the ring with his foot. Taker follows Clark out of the ring and wraps his chain around Clarks wrists and chains the other end around the turnbuckle post. Taker lays into him with rapid body shots and a kick to the midsection.
J.R.: Soupbone right hands wearing down one half of the Tag champs early.
Clark falls to one, coughing softly. The camera moves as Adams pushes Kane up and over the top rope, The Big Red Machine crashing to the floor hard on his back.
J.R.: Good lord.
Heyman: To the doubters at home, that was no sound effect. That was the sound of an actual 300lb man crashing to a thinly padded concrete floor.
Adams leaves the ring and nails Taker with a right hand, the Phenom stumbling back almost tripping over the steps. He rests against this e barricade as Adams starts to unchain his tag partner.
Clark: Son of a bitch knocked the wind out of me.
Kane grabs Adams by the back of the hair and throws him into the barricade. Adams crashes into it hip first and slumps against it. The screen splits as Clark walks around the stairs and Taker puts his arms up and Clark starts to swing at him.
Kane and Adams continue to trade shots as they walk toward the back. The two go behind the curtain and the camera goes to one screen again as Clark backs up and Clotheslines Taker and himself over the barricade.
J.R.: We seem to have lost the camera for Kane and Brian Adams.
Clark is back on his feet and pulls Taker to his feet. Taker lays into him with body shots again and throws him into a chair. He stomps on him as the chair slides out from under him and Clark thumps against the floor.
The screen splits again as they find Kane and Brian Adams. Kane is holding Adams' face against a mesh fencing. He pulls him away and throws him into a door, shoulder first. Taker climbs over the barricade and recovers his chain as Clark pushes chairs away, stumbling to his feet.
Adams is bleeding a little just above his eyebrow as Kane chokes him against the wall. Taker climbs over the barricade ad cracks the chain across the back of Clark. Clark falls to his knees, wincing in pain and crawls away a little before going to all fours.
Taker wraps the chain around his left arm and grabs Clark by the hair. He drags him around and throws him shoulder first into the backwall. Clark slides the wall to his knees, holding his shoulder.
In the back Adams has gotten to his feet and forced Kane's grip off of his throat. He kicks Kane in the stomach twice. Kane bends over and backs up. Adams picks up a production crate and holds it up and drops it across Kane's back, knocking him to the floor. The crate falls to the floor. Adams lifts it up and opens it. He hand Kane's right hand and puts it on the edge of the crate and slams the lid hard.
J.R.: He may have just broken Kane's hand!
Kane pulls his hand free and stands up. He's groaning and holding his hand. Adams follows him and Kane throws his left arm back and elbows Adams in the jaw. The champ stumbles to the side and falls to the floor.
Taker drags Clark up the stairs by the hair, clubbing him across the back every so often along the way. He holds his throat against the railing. Taker lets him go and Clark sits on the step, coughing hard.
Undertaker: Cmon boy!
Taker kicks Clark again. He wraps the chain around his throat and drags him up the stairs with it.
Heyman: What the hell is wrong with him?!
He stops at the top of the steps and lets him go, Clark coughs as Taker turns around and looks down the staircase.
Undertaker: How long of a fall do think that is Bryan? 13, 14 steps?
Heyman: Does he even remember the titles are on the line?
Clark starts to pull away from Undertaker, Taker following close behind. In the back Kane and Adams are trading fists, Kane fighting with his left hand. Adams wins out and the two head further into the back.
Taker and Clark are trading punches at the top of the stairs. A right hand from Clark nearly sends the Undertaker down the stairs but he saves himself as Clark turns and gets away from him, trying to gather his bearings.
Kane grabs Adams by the throat with his good hand and tosses him into a door. The door flies open and Adams crashes to the floor. He rolls close to the top of a small flight of stairs that leads to the parking lot.
Taker goes after Clark and a garbage can flies into frame and hits Taker in the back knocking him off his feet. Clark runs over and starts to stomp on Taker.
Clark: Not so cocky now...son of a bitch.
He stomps on him again and rolls him over and covers him. Taker kicks out at two and Clark immediately mourns him and lays into him with right hands. He stands up and walks away, looking for a weapon.
Adams walks down the stairs while he has the moment to himself. The parking lots mostly empty. Adams looks around before he suddenly gets bowled over by Kane.
Taker has caught up with Clark and clocks him in the side of the jaw with a right hand. Taker grabs Clark by the shirt and waist of his jeans. He turns and charges towards the concession stand and tosses Clark over the bar. He takes a moment to catch his breath before climbing over the bar himself. Clark starts to pull himself up. Taker pours himself a little bit of beer. He downs the shot and hits Clark with the cup. Clark stumbles a bit and Taker swings at him. Clark ducks and Takers hand goes through the popcorn machine with a loud shatter.
Kane grabs Adams and tosses him onto the hood of a nearby car. He shakes his right hand before climbing up onto the car himself. He grabs Adams by the hair and pulls him up. He picks him up for a Tombstone Piledriver. The ref doesn't let Taker pull his arm free for risk of further harm and Clark punches him in the jaw before leaving.
J.R.: Oh for the love God Kane don't do it!
Adams fights his way off of Kane's shoulders and low blows him. Kane falls to his knee and Adams takes a moment before standing up. He maneuvers himself slowly and carefully. He picks Kane up on his shoulder and throws him down with a Meltdown into the side of the car next to the. Kane bounces off and lands on his back on the asphalt.
J.R.: Good God!
Adams sits on the hood of the car for a second before sliding off and covering Kane for the win. Earl Hebner calls for the bell as medics rush in from outside to help Taker. The screen goes to one screen again focusing on Adams laying on the ground, panting. Hebner raises his hand.
J.R.: A hellacious fight that ends with KroniK retaining our Tag Titles.
Adams sits up with a smirk still panting. It slowly fades to black as he stands up and it cuts to the live feed of a full crowd, excited for the official start of the show.
J.R.: Good evening ladies and gentlemen we are live at Fully Loaded at Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Paul this show has already been anarchy.
Heyman: Absolutely. Twice fans got hurt in the rivalry between The Brothers of Destruction and KroniK and now Taker and Kane are suspend...
J.R.: Unfairly paying for the crimes of both teams.
Heyman: Careful who call unfair or you'll be out on the street.
Rhynos music begins to play to boos from the crowd.
J.R.: This rematch goes back to last month. Rhyno had a possible Intercontinental Title opportunity taken from him and given to Raven allegedly by the orders of the champion, Big Show.
Heyman: A brawl on our European tour, smack talk on Howard Stern and destruction of Regis and Kelly gave way to a match at Judgement Day to an inclusive ending. For the last month Rhyno has stewed and brawled with Show waiting, burning for this rematch.
Rhyno poses in the ring, his introduction being done while the commentators talked. Big Shows music hits to a round of applause. Tony Chimel introduces him as the champ walks towards the ring, the IC Title slung over his shoulder.
Rhyno paces in the corner as the Big Show steps over the top rope. He hands the IC Title to the ref who holds it up before handing it off to someone outside the ring. Rhyno charges across the ring before the bell but runs right into a Big Boot from Show. Rhyno rolls out of the ring, holding his jaw, Show wastes no time following him out. He grabs Rhyno by the hair but Rhyno runs forward, driving Show back first into the barricade.
Rhyno backs up and lays into the IC Champ with rights hand across the jaw and kicks to the midsection. He tries to drag the champ but Show pushes him up and slams him onto the floor with a Modified Chokeslam. The crowd ooh as Rhyno arches off the ground yelling in pain.
Show poses for the crowd with a yell. He picks Rhyno up and slings him onto his shoulder. Show charges and drives Rhynos back into the turnbuckle pole. He backs up a little and charges again, ramming him into the pole again. He backs up again but this time tosses Rhyno through the top and middle rope back into the ring. Show climbs onto the apron and climbs over the top rope.
Rhyno gets to his feet but immediately falls back to the mat. He grabs Rhyno by the hair and pulls him up. Show grabs Rhyno by the throat and holds his thumb up, moving around with Rhyno in his grip. Rhyno starts to kick at Shows midsection and Show pushes him into the corner. He pushes Rhynos head up and shushes the crowd. He rears up and swings his hand down. Rhyno moves and the force of Shows chop knocks the turnbuckle pad off.
Show shakes his hand as Rhyno steadies himself on his feet. Show turns around and Rhyno Clothesline him. The champ merely staggers backwards. Rhyno throws another, stiffer Clothesline into Shows chest and he staggers backs and falls into the ropes, getting his arms tied up in them.
Rhyno punches him twice before wrapping his hands around Shows throat. The ref unsuccessfully tries to pull him off and starts to count. Rhyno backs up at four and the ref starts to untie Big Show. Rhyno beats his chest and poses to boos from the crowd. He goes back over to Show and shoves the ref out of the way. Show reaches up with his untied arm and grabs Rhyno by the throat to a pop.
Rhyno tries to pry Big Shows hand off of his throats. The ref gets Shows other arm untied and Rhyno falls to one knee. Show stands up and pulls Rhyno to his feet. He roars to the crowd and picks up Rhyno and Chokeslams him. He leaves his hand on his chest as the ref begins to count the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2..
Rhyno kicks out and Show looks at the ref in shock. Rhyno rolls over to the ropes and Show stands, clearly frustrated. Rhyno pulls himself and Show turns out. Rhyno mows him down with a Gore. Rhyno quickly gets back to his feet, panting. He backs into the corner and squats, holding his hair back yelling at Show to stand up. Show slowly rolls over and slowly gets to his feet, on unsteady legs. Rhyno charges and bowls him over again. This time he covers him for the three count and the win.
Chimel: Your winner and new Intercontinental Champion Rhyno!
Rhyno is handed the belt he holds it up, pulling away from the ref trying to raise his arm. He walks around the ring holding the title up, huffing and panting. Show lays on his side, holding his stomach. It cuts to KroniK backstage, both showing signs of the battle against The Brothers of Destruction.
Adams: The Dudleys, The Hardys, APA, Impact Players, and now The Brothers of Destruction. You've thrown the best in this company at us and we continue to hang onto these WWF Tag Team Titles. Maybe I'm crazy, maybe it's adrenalin, maybe I hit my head, I don't know but tomorrow Impact Players you want a fair title shot, then you got it. Now get the hell away from us.
Heyman: The champions still fired up after their Empty Arena Matche earlier tonight.
Dean Malenkos music begins to play. He walks to the ring as he's introduced, looking around the arena.
J.R.: A tear is in the eye of a man who loves this business and has dedicated his adult life to being one of the best technical wrestlers. This is the start of his retirement tour and clearly The Man of 1000 Holds is already feeling the weight and emotion.
Hayabusas music begins to play as Malenko stretches in the corner. The crowd cheer as pyro goes off before he walks out. He's wearing green attire and a matching robe, with white boots. He walks to the ring as he's introduced. The ref takes Hayabusas robe and hands it to the timekeeper. The two are each other down before the ref calls for the bell. With the match offically under way the two meet in the middle of the ring and shake hands then back away.
The two lock up and Malenko twists Hayabusas arm. Hayabusa rolls forward and kips up but Malenko trips him and sends him back to the mat. He stretches his arm out and lifts himself up and drops his knee across Hayabusas elbow. Hayabusa reaches out but Malenko cranks on his arm.
Malenko tries to lock in an Armbar but Hayabusa counters it into a roll up for a one count. The two roll up and Hayabusa tries for a Shotei but Malenko grabs his arm and brings to him to the mat and rolls him with a La Magistral Cradle for a one count. The two roll up again and Malenko locks in a Side Headlock. Hayabusa quickly pulls him back against the ropes and pushes him off across the ring. Dean bounces off the opposite ropes and flips over a ducking Hayabusa. Hayabusa rolls through the Sunset Flip attempt and backs into the ropes and hits a sitting Malenko with a low Spinning Wheel Kick to a pop.
He scrambles into a cover but Malenko kicks out at two. Hayabusa looks up surprised and sits Malenko up. He pulls back on his arms, digging his knee into Malenkos lower back. Malenko slowly begins to get to his feet. He tries to roll the hold in his favor but Hayabusa rolls him right back into the hold and cranks on his arms.
Malenko bites his lip and huffs. He tries to pull his arms free but Hayabusa pulls back on them, bringing Malenko to one knee. Malenko stands back up and lifts his legs, wrapping them around Hayabusas waist. Hayabusa lets go of his arms and Malenko rolls forward and stands up briefly before locking in a Leg Lock.
Hayabusa quickly crawls to and grabs the bottom rope. Malenko lets go of the hold and rolls out of the ring. He walks around the corner and grabs Haybausa by the mask. He rolls him over and pulls him onto the apron. He lifts him up and slams him sternum first into the apron.
He walks away and rolls into and back out of the ring off camera as Hayabusa slowly slides off the apron and onto the floor. Malenko walks over and picks Hayabusa up. He locks his head and hits a quick Vertical Suplex. Hayabusa sits up, tensing in pain. Malenko sits up briefly before standing up.
He pulls Hayabusa up and rolls him into the ring. Malenko climbs into the apron only to be knocked back off following an elbow strike from Hayabusa. He checks his mouth for blood, turning his back to the ring. As he turns around Hayabusa jumps onto the top rope and hits Malenko with a Corkscrew Senton to a pop.
J.R.: Hayabusa starting to reach into his bag of tricks, trying to ramp this match up.
Hayabusa rolls onto all fours before standing up. He picks Malenko up and rolls him into the ring. He starts to climb onto the apron and up to the top slowly. Hayabusa stands up and tries for a 450 Splash but Malenko gets his knees up. Hayabusa lands on his knees and rolls off holding his stomach.
The ref checks on Hayabusa as Malenko pulls himself up in the corner. Hayabusa slowly pulls himself up with the refs help. Malenko approaches and gets hit with a Shotei. Both men fall to the mat, Hayabusa holding his ribs. Surprisingly Hayabusa is to his feet first and rolls Malenko up to his feet. He hooks him for a Suplex but he's unable to lift Malenko. Malenko punches at his ribs a few times for good measure. He counters, lifting Hayabusa up and dropping him stomach against the top rope.
Hayabusa bounces off onto his back, holding his ribs and rolling around in pain. Malenko stands in the corner for a moment catching his breath. Hayabusa gets onto his knees, coughing. Malenko walks over and grabs him but the mask, dragging him towards the corner. Malenko lifts him on his shoulder and turns, sitting him on the top rope.
Malenko climbs to the second and turns around, lifting Hayabusa onto his shoulders again. Malenko stands up and jumps off and pushes Hayabusa into the air, dropping him into a Ribbreaker when they hit the mat. The crowd ooh and Malenko tries to cover him but Hayabusa rolls too far away, holding his ribs.
J.R.: The masked man from Japan could be looking at so many different injuries right now. Broken ribs, internal bleeding.
Malenko grabs him by the foot and drags him into the ring. He tries for the Texas Cloverleaf but as he bends down to turn him over, Hayabusa spits red mist into Malenkos eyes. The crowd boo as Malenko stumbles around rubbing his eyes. Hayabusa slowly pulls himself up and hits Malenko with another Shotei and covers him for the three count.
Replays from the match begin to play as J.R. and Paul Heyman recap the match. It cuts back to live action as Malenko stands up slowly. He shakes Hayabusas hand again and raises his arm.
It cuts to Team WWF in the locker room. There's no audio as the four men seem to be going over strategy. After this it cuts to Team WCW in their locker room doing the same thing.
It cuts back to the ring and Finlays music hits. He walks to the ring during his introduction completely focused. European Champion Ultimo Dragon is out next. He lets his pyro go off before continuing to the ring as he's introduced. Hposes in the ring and hands his title to the ref.
Dragon hands his entrance cape to a ringside staff member. He turns and Finlay charges at him and drives his shoulder into Dragons midsection. He stands up as the ref calls for the bell. He holds Dragons head back by grabbing the horns of his mask. At the refs urging he lets go but as he backs away, he grabs the horns again and throws Dragon to the mat to boos.
Finlay smirks and Dragon rolls onto his back, checking his nose. Finlay takes his leg and places it against the bottom rope. He holds it down with his foto before jumping and landing down on the champs leg. Dragon sits up and Finlay pushes him right back down and sets his leg up again. But as he jumps Dragon rolls away and Finlay lands ass first onto the mat.
Dragon stands up and runs, laying into the middle of Finlays back with a stiff kick. The crowd ooh, Finlay grimaces, laying back on the mat. He takes a moment to catch his breath and the challenger rolls onto all fours. Dragon moves and jumps over him, rolling him into a pin for a one count.
Both men roll right up and Finlay hits Dragons it's a European Uppercut. Dragon seems unfazed and retaliates with a stiff kick to Finlays leg. Finally winces but quickly retaliates with a chop. Dragon chops back and the two begin to trade chops.
Finlay grabs him by the mask again and forces him down to the mat. Finlay climbs onto him and tries for a cover but doesn't even get a one count. He stays in top of Dragon and lays into him with a series of right hands and tris for a cover again, only scoring a one count.
Finlay stares at the ref angrily. Dragon rolls away onto all fours. Finlay stands up and charges, punting Dragon in the midsection. Dragon holds his ribs and rolls out to the floor. Finlay walks around the ring for a moment and the ref starts to count Dragon out. Finlay rolls out of the ring and Dragon is slowly getting back to his feet. Finlay charges as Dragon turns around.
Dragon hits Finlay with a Dropkick before Finlay hits his Clothesline and the crow pop. Dragon takes a moment before standing up and stomping on his challenger. He steps over Finlay and climbs onto the apron. He hypes the crowd up and Finlay starts to get up. Before Dragon can jump, Finlay grabs his leg and pulls him down. Dragon gets crotches on the apron skirt. Finlay backs up before moving forward and kicking the knee that's caught under the ring four times before the ref interjects.
Finlay backs away, smirking. Dragon pulls himself off the apron and falls to the floor, holding his leg, the same one Finlay jumped on earlier in the match. The ref helps Dragon to his feet, asking if he can continue. Finlay charges ad kicks the leg out from him, knocking him to the floor. The ref admonishes him as Dragon holds his knee.
Finlay: Get off it. This ain't ballet.
Dragon pulls himself up, hobbling. Finlay moves around the ref and towards Dragon. He gets knocked of his feet by a Forearm Strike from the injured champ. The crowd ooh and Dragon rolls into the ring.
J.R.: What a vicious forearm!
The ref follows Dragon into the ring and begins to count Finlay out. At five Finlay starts to stir and slowly begins to get to his feet. Dragon slaps the mat and hobbles to his feet. He walks over to the ropes and Planchas out onto Finlay toa pop. He rolls away, holding his knee.
Heyman: The champ might be crippled soon at this rate.
J.R.: ...what is wrong with you Paul?
Dragon, surprisingly, is back to his feet first, balancing himself with the announce table. Finlay is up soon after and charges Dragon, driving him into the barricade. He stands up and Dragon slumps against the barricade. Finlay stomps on him. And then again. And then again. The ref tries to pull him off but Finlay shoves him to the floor, yelling at him.
Finlay reaches under the ring where he stashed his shillelagh and pulls it out from under the ring. He approaches Dragon as he slowly pulls himself to his feet. Dragon turns quickly, kicking Finlay in the stomach forcing him to drop his weapon.
J.R.: Dragon rolling on adrenaline, blocking out the pain.
Dragon holds onto Finlay singlet to keep himself standing. After a moment, he turns Finlay and pulls him back to the ring and rolls him in. He follows and quickly covers him for a two count.
Dragon rolls off and sits up, panting. He rolls onto one knee and pushes himself to his feet. He grabs Finlay by the head and starts to pull him up. Finlay pulls on his leg, Dragon falls to the mat. Finlay holds onto his leg but isn't able to capitalize as Dragon kicks Finlay twice and rolls away as Finlay stumbles backwards. Dragon stands up and ducks a surprise Clothesline from Finlay. He hooks him for a Dragon Suplex but Finlay bends forward and flips Dragon onto his back on the mat. He quickly jumps, landing a Seated Senton into Dragons midsection. Dragon rolls onto his side as Finlay lays on his front.
The two slowly stand up, both on shaky legs. Finlay knocks Dragon back, and almost
out of the ring, with a European Uppercut.
Finlay: Cmon ya bastard!
Finlay grabs Dragon and goes for an Irish Whip but pulls Dragon back. Dragon turns midway and hits Finlay with a quick Sitout Shiranui into a pin for the three. Ultimo is announced as winner and retaining champion. He's handed the title and the ref holds up his arm.
J.R.: A vicious brawl and a hell of a hard fought victory for the European Champion. What the hell?!
Raven slides into the ring and spins Dragon around, kicking him in the gut. He hooks him and drops him with The Raven Effect. He quickly rolls to his feet and stares at Dragon. He leans his head back and stretches his arms out as the crowd boos.
J.R admonishes Raven on commentary before it cuts to Kevin Kelly in the back, standing outside the locker room door.
Kelly: Fully Loaded living up to its name, it's been a hell of a night so far. Up next Jerry Lynn defends his Lightheavyweight Title against the challenger Low Ki. But before that...
Lynn walks out of the locker room, the title around his waist. He walks right past Kevin .
Kelly...Nervermind. Back to you guys.
It goes to ringside and Low Kis music begins to play. He walks out and when es about halfway down the ramp, it cuts to a recap package, showing Low Ki calling Jerry Lynn and buddying up with Psicosis to take out other Lightheavweights in the company.
It cuts back to the ring, Kis introduction finished. Jerry Lynn's music hits and he wastes getting into the ring. He throws the belt to the ref and goes nose-to-nose with Low Ki. The ref pulls them apart long enough to hold the title up and call for the bell. The two begin to pace each other quickly before going in closer.
Lynn takes Ki to the mat with a Headlock Takeover but Ki pulls him off with a Headscissors. Lynn pushes his legs apart enough to roll forward into a pin. Ki holds onto his waist and starts to push himself. He turns and tries to pull Lynn into a pin but Lynn rolls off his back and to his feet and tries to hit a Cradle Piledriver but Ki pulls away and rolls out of the ring. Lynn wastes no time, charging the corner and going to the top and jumping out onto an unexpecting Ki to a big pop.
The champ is back on his feet quickly. He pulls Ki to his feet and throws him back into the ring. He takes a moment before rolling back in. Ki is back on his feet and locks an approaching Lynn in an Abdominal Stretch.
J.R.: Interesting strategy from Low Ki, usually he's the one being slowed down.
Lynn starts to fight out of it and Hip Tosses Ki. Ki lands on his feet and immediately drives his knee into Lynns midsection. The champ doubles over and Ki hits the ropes. The champ springs up and Hurricanranas Ki into a pin but Ki reverses into a pin. Lynn kicks out immediately and rolls to his feet. Both try for. Clothesline, knocking each other to the mat.
They're both back to their feet quickly after. Lynn charges Ki, who moves, tossing Lynn through the middle rope to the floor. Ki hits the ropes and cartwheels into a Sasuke Special. Both men lay on the floor, the crowd cheering.
Ki is up first and pulls the champion to his feet and rolls him into the ring. Ki follows him in and stomps on him. Lynn winces, holding his ribs. Ki pulls him up and scoops him up. He hangs him in the Tree of Woe and moves to the side.
He kicks him once in the ribs. Then again and again and again. He moves up, kicking at Lynns legs three times quickly. He backs away and Lynn falls, face down on the mat. Ki pulls him away from the corner and rolls him over, covering him for a one count.
Ki stands up and runs the ropes, dropping a quick twisting elbow into Lynns sternum. Lynn crosses his arms and rolls over, face down on the mat. Ki stands over him and pulls back on his hair. He tries to lock in a Dragon Sleeper but Lynn blocks it and crawls out between Kis legs. He stands up and pushes Ki into the ropes. Lynn takes a moment to rest and Ki hooks onto the ropes, stopping himself.
Lynn runs in and gets kicked in the jaw. Lynn backs up and Ki runs at him. Lynn counters with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker and covers Ki but doesn't even get a one count. Lynn mounts Ki and lays into him with right hands. He quickly stands up and starts stomping on his challenger.
The ref gets him to back off. He continues to try to get around the ref as Low Ki stands up. He moves the ref and Kik hits him with an Overhand Chop quickly followed by a standard chop. The crowd oohs and Lynn crosses his arms across his chest and bends over.
Ki grabs him by the hair. Lynn breaks his hold and kicks him in the stomach. He hits him with a Cradle Piledriver.
Ref: 1...
Lynn suddenly springs to his feet and runs towards the ropes and Suicide Dives out onto Psicosis. He quickly scrambles to his feet and stomps at the recent associate of Low Ki.
J.R.: Psicosis has been Low Kis partner in crime in running through the Lightheavyweight division and the champ making sure he won't be a factor for this one. The ref gets between the two and Lynn spits at him before running back to the ring and slides. Lynn stands up and Ki hits him square across the jaw with a Spin Kick.
J.R.: Goddamn!
Heyman: Im pretty sure I saw teeth fly into the fourth row J.R..
Lynn stays on his feet but he's clearly out cold. Ki grabs him and sets him up for and hits a Ki Krusher.
Ref.: 1...2...3
The ref calls for the bell as Ki releases the hold. He rolls onto one knee, panting as the ref hands him the title. He pulls away from the refs hand and stands up, holding the belt up with both hands.
As Ki leaves the ring and meets up with Psicosis, it cuts to the back. Steve Williams is standing by in his robe with Kevin Kelly.
Kelly: Steve Williams you challenge Funaki for the Hardcore Title but you've actually called for a non-hardcore match.
Williams: That's right. The 24/7 has been suspended for tonight and I'm looking to back the wrestling back in hardcore wrestling. I gotta keep this brief, I'm up next.
He leaves as Kevin Kelly wishes him luck. It cuts back to the ring, Hardcore Champion is already in the ring, clearly nervous. Williams' music hits and he comes through the curtain and jogs to the ring as he's introduced.
Once in the ring he hands his robe to an outside staff member and meets Funaki in the middle of the ring. He shakes Funaki hand and as the two pull away the ref holds up the title. He hands to Tony Chimel and calls for the bell. The two begin to creole each other.
J.R.: Steve Williams is an accomplished wrestler , he's built like a brick outhouse and hits like one too. Funaki is going to have out-run Doc if he wants to keep his title.
The two move in and Funaki low blows Williams. He sprints out of the ring as the ref calls for the bell.
Heyman: Or he could just do that.
Williams is declared the winner but Funaki is still champion. He abs his title and sprints to the back. Williams sits up in the ring, hand between his legs. He stands up and kicks a turnbuckle.
It cuts to a shocked Michael Cole in the back. He's standing in front of the trainers room.
Cole: Well ladies and gentlemen certainly not the match we were expecting but-
Sabu storms out of the room followed by medical staff and security. William Regal is at the back of the line. There's a smirk on his face. Cole holds the microphone up to him.
Regal: It seems an...accident has befallen dear Sabu and he hasn't been medically cleared to compete tonight. Now as much as I was looking forward to wrestling him tonight I as the Commissioner of the WWF cannot in good consciousness allow him to compete-
The crowd cheer as the camera pans out and shows Rob Van Dam standing in front of Regal.
Regal: Can I help you Mister-
RVD: Since you want to wrestle so bad, the Six Man Tag is up next. You have until the end of that match to prepare for a match with me. And I'll be keeping my eye out for Finlay too.
He storms off and Regal shrugs.
Regal: Fine. Tonight I'll be taking on Rob Van Dam.
The sly smirk is gone from his face as he pushes around Cole walking away. The graphic for the Six Man Tag appears on screen.
J.R.: It's time ladies and gentlemen. After months of sneak attacks, brawls, and tension, members of WCW and members of WWF will go to war. And yes I can almost guarantee this will be a war.
It cuts to a video package. Sting showing up at WrestleMania, KroniK taking out the tag division, Kevin Nash costing Chris Jericho the IC Title, the beatdown of The Rock, and the brawl that ended SmackDown are highlighted and ends with HHHs vow to beat the members of Team WCW out of the business.
It cuts to the ring as the bell ring.
Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.
Starting with Kurt Angle and ending with E and C, each member of Team WWF comes out one by one. Each team member gets their own introduction. The Nitro theme begins to play to a mixed reaction. Team WCW come out together but are introduced separately.
The ref calls for the bell and both teams begin to brawl in the ring. The eight men pair off as the fight spills out of the ring. HHH and Scott Steiner brawl up the ramp, Angle and Goldberg brawl into the crowd while Christian and Booker T brawl outside the ring. Edge and Kevin Nash are left in the ring.
