Hope it's not a full retirement, I've never had a complaint about the man. Show has always been very underappreciated. Comes up with good matches when he needs to. His stuff with Reigns last year was actually really good, and his series with Mark Henry a few years back was great. I'll always remember the RAW match in 2006 I think with Show vs Kane where they randomly just started mat wrestling. That was brilliant

It pisses me off the way today's fans show very little respect for guys like Kane and Big Show.

It pisses me off the way today's fans show very little respect for guys like Kane and Big Show. It is sad that all big men in wwe are losing respect. Not even the new ones are given a chance by fans.

I don't have a problem with The Big Show and I think he will always be involved with WWE in some form. However WWE really has nothing for him as they are focusing on younger guys and I don't think Show has a problem with that.
Am I the only one who thought that they could of done a lot more with him and Apollo Crews? I thought he was gonna do the mentor thing like Rocky/Creed and I really thought that could of been something, but all it turned out to be was one promo.

It pisses me off the way today's fans show very little respect for guys like Kane and Big Show. it is the wwe's fault. they allow those talent's weakness to be HEAVILY exposed, and then ignore their weaknesses. they then degrade their characters with monotonous, repetitive behavior and putting them places in the card where they simply, at this point in their careers, should not be.

He's one of the genuine nice guys in the business.
The man will do anything for the same fans chanting please retire. He's one of a kind too. It'll be sad to see him go.

One of the most unselfish guys in the whole wrestling business. Always did what was asked of him no matter how stupid and put the WWE before himself. Cant say enough good things about him

I've never really thought about it before now, but I agree. That kind of thing would be a great use of Big Show at this point in his career, and Apollo could really do with having someone to play off and help him show more variation and personality. Although I guess they already have Backlund mentoring Darren Young, so they don't want to have a similar thing going on on SmackDown.

Show is fantastic, but he's been so boring and just kind of existed for years now. I think retirement, with special appearances at times will be better for him. Have him be off tv for a few years and make a surprise Rumble appearance, the pop would be great.
