I'm buying two because gotta leave one in that amazing package. I'm not hot on the price but it is what it is and it's not like it's a wrestler we'll get tons of versions of like Warrior or Macho. Also it's my avatar.

But when you compare the actual figures and accessories they're about the same so if the DM Warrior should only be $20 and not $25 (Which I agree with) then Shocky should be $20 too and not $30. It's like, mark a figure up $10 and no one bats an eye but mark a figure up $5 and everyone complains. A shorter run of figures always cost more compared to retail numbers. |

I'm not saying this isn't a great figure- though if I bought it I'd have to open it but the way it's packaged I'd have to keep it MOC *but*... I'm curious as to why so many people are like "DM Warrior isn't worth $25 he should be a regular Elite for $20" and yet $30 is an acceptable price for this figure. It's at about the $20 price point, in my opinion, so I'm just confused I guess as to why people will pay $10 more for this but not $5 more for Warrior. It's mainly because it's an SDCC/online exclusive, it's made in far fewer quantities than retail figures, and it's such a niche/collectors-type figure. And we (UK) have to pay £23.99 (approx. $31 USD) for Defining Moments figures, anyway...  |
