So it just got announced that Episode VIII has been delayed to December 15th 2017 because of Pirates of The Carribbean 5 taking its place in May. I doubt thats the real reason; Ep7 was delayed the same amount of time, which in turn threw off Ep8 6 months right off the bat, I see this being the real reason tbh, not to mention I think they're wanting to hold onto that December bank too after the phenomenon that Ep7 has been |

I'm a big fan of Star Wars in December.. If every Star Wars movie from here on out came out in December, I'd be absolutely OK with it.
I now relate Star Wars to Christmas.. It's too late to turn back.

It was delayed due to rewrites on the script, which may have been foreseen. Seems like Disney just slid Pirates in its place because it would be ready to go.
Curious how this impacts Avatar 2. I can wait the 6 months. I just want the film to be as perfect as possible. I have really high hopes for Johnson's script.

I heard the reason it got delayed is just because December was such a good month for Episode 7 that they want that same Holiday season scenario. Lot's of people get time off from work/school in December because of the holidays, and so many people are in the malls shopping anyway, really easy for them to stop by the theater to see a film while they're there.
I think this is a good idea. I don't want to sit in a movie theater when the weather is nice out. I want to go to the movies on crappy cold, dark, winter days. Maybe it's just me...but I think this is the right move to delay the film. Good business decision, in my opinion.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I guess Harrison Ford is doing a private signing and you can pre-order a signed TFA poster from this place, and they will have other signed Star Wars merchandise for sale after the signing apparently. I know it's $900, but maybe that's worth it to someone. The Rebels season finale was pretty awesome. Lots of cool stuff happened. I'm starting to think that Ezra will eventually become Snoke.

The Rebels season finale was pretty awesome. Lots of cool stuff happened. I'm starting to think that Ezra will eventually become Snoke. Hey! I had no idea there were other people on here who watched rebels! I thought I was the only one! The finale was amazing. I loved seeing Darth Maul again, and Ahsoka Vs. Vader was great, Kanan being blinded surprised me, and I'm curious to see how he will be doing later on in the series. Kanan being blinded reminds of Rahm Kota from TFU. Yeah I'm also thinking that Ezra may turn evil and become Maul's apprentice, and then become Snoke later on. That white bird that was watching the rebels in the last few episodes, I have a theory about it. I think that the bird may be the spirit of Qui-Gon Jinn. |

I had preordered the digital months ago. And finally saw it Friday when my digital preorder activated. Today I picked up the Blu Ray combo pack. Sooooo....I don't need the digital copy that came with my combo pack.

I decided to just get the regular version because I didn't like the soft cover case of the exclusive. Plus I thought the black case looked awesome. I know that's the dumbest reason ever not to get the extra content but that was my thought process. But yeah, anyway, I had to have this immediately today. |

Yeah, I'm REALLY not a fan of the soft cover for it. Kind of pisses me off. But -- the extras are fantastic. Not going to lie, I teared up a couple times listening to them talk about the process of getting it made. I love filmmaking so damn much.
