I almost averted my eyes from that soundtrack but I'm glad I gave in because it's great.

I enjoyed Rise of Skywalker a lot more than The Last Jedi....I've seen ROS twice now 2 days apart and enjoyed it a lot. Its not perfect by any means but it wraps up a lot of stuff. There was lots if stuff I really enjoyed.
Looking forward to watching the Sequel trilogy back to back now as the one story....

Wow, people do not care about Star Wars anymore! I think people are tired of crappy Star Wars films. Despite its flaws, fans enjoyed TFA. They then released RO which again, fans responded positively too. Then TLJ came out and a major part of the fan base expressed their displeasure with its many issues. Rather than take this feedback and use it to right the ship, Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson blamed the fans for not being “progressive” and wrote it off as a “small fraction” of the overall fan base. They defended that crap fest rather than admit their failure, and then followed it up with the equally divisive Solo. Disney knew it wasn’t a “small fraction” of the fan base who were unhappy as they brought back JJ Abrams in a desperate move to fix this franchise. Well, after 2 decent movies and 3 crappy movies, the box office is showing that Star Wars isn’t the guaranteed money maker it once was. Fans arnt happy and the foreign returns are showing this. Hate the prequels all you want but they never lost money like Solo did. And they were bad for being bad, but not for crapping on established lore like these Disney movies have. I have always enjoyed the prequels for what they are, but I now have a new appreciation for them after this crap fest of a trilogy from Disney.

I care plenty about Star Wars & always will..... The Last Jedi is the big blip for them...not Solo. TLJ delivered very confusing twists & its use of Luke Skywalker is just mind boggling.
Solo landed too soon after it & was smothered by Infinty War & Deadpool 2. All you have to do is look up how much money those 2 movies were still making on Solos opening weekend. Ludicrous move on Disney's part dropping that movie there & expecting it to deliver financially. 100% there own fault.

I must be one of the few people that enjoyed Solo. It was pretty fun! Nah man you aren't. Every SW fan I know in person really enjoyed Solo. most people online seemed to enjoy it too. Seemed a lot of folks( foolishly) gave it a miss in the cinema because of rumor's about trouble on the set etc. Anyone that gave it a shot after? seemed to really enjoy/love it. I personally think the 2 Anthology movies & Rebels have been Disney's shining lights concerning Star Wars.

The more times I watch it, the more that I think that Rogue One may be my favourite Star Wars film. It ties in nicely to established events without resorting to "fan service" and it has everything that you'd want from a Star Wars film really. Of course, I'm one of those who is just happy to have a new Star Wars film to watch so I don't hate on Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker. They're not perfect but there are very few films out there in general that are, if at all, perfect.

I’ve just always come across haters of these stand alone films. It’s pretty tired.

Rise of Skywalker scene leaked on Reddit. Kylo has a green lightsaber as he talks to force ghost Anakin. Not a look into the past because he has the scars and everything. Looks too good to be fake aswell. Can someone link me to this?

I just finished binge watching The Mandalorian and I must say.. It was ing excellent. I really cannot wait to see how this story unfolds when Season 2 drops. Also, love the tie ins with Mandalorian lore that we got from The Clone Wars and Rebels especially with the end of Chapter 8 and the revelation of the Dark-saber. Went in with moderate expectations, and was pleased thoroughly. Disney + hit a home run with this one. This is the way

Alan Harris, the actor responsible for multiple minor (but no less significant) Star Wars roles, including the lizard-headed bounty hunter Bossk in The Empire Strikes Back, has died.
SYFY Wire obtained a comment from Harris’ appearance manager, stating that the actor had been dealing with undisclosed health problems but “loved and lived every moment to the fullest.”
Cathy Munroe, who similarly played the bounty hunter Zuckuss in Empire Strikes Back, issued a statement, saying Harris was “an incredible courageous man" whose "legacy will live on and he will always be fondly remembered."
Harris is most widely known for playing Bossk, the Trandoshan bounty hunter who joined Boba Fett and several others (including the robotic IG-88) in the hunt for Han Solo. That was far from Harris’ only Star Wars role, though. According to the actor’s IMDB page, the man also portrayed a member of Leia’s Rebel escort, as well as a Bespin security guard who can be briefly seen helping transport a frozen Han Solo. He also played an uncredited role as a stormtrooper in Return of the Jedi. Harris also doubled for Anthony Daniels as C-3PO. All this would make him one of the few actors outside of the core cast to appear in all three of the original trilogy movies.
He's also under Boba Fett's white armor in the prototype photos.

Just saw that the Mandolorian will have the live action debut of Ahsoka Tano, and Rosario Dawson will be playing her.

A couple of things....
The Mandalorian is pure love. its just incredible...Future plans for it could be amazing.
The last season of Clone Wars is absolutely fantastic. Love how we are right on the nose of ROTS now. As I've said for years...it will only make ROTS better.
I watched all 3 of the sequel Trilogy this week. I really wish Luke's passing had been handled differently and He had been more involved. I really enjoyed McDiarmaid as the Emperor but in fairness his return raises more questions than it answers.
I like the sequel trilogy & they had some very cool moments but they hurt ROTJ...a LOT.
