Sometimes i take a break. Usually once football starts and theres that on i will gravitate towards that other wrestling. Always have though.

I've never full on stopped watching. I've become less interested due to the quality of the product or taken short breaks either because life got in the way or because I felt like I needed to step away and come back with a fresh perspective.
I was having a hard time keeping up during 2008, my senior year of high school and first semester at college. Getting adjusted to a whole new way of life left minimal time for wrestling. I kept up with the shows and tried to watch when I could, but I don't remember a lot from that year.
Other than that, it's just always been self-imposed breaks for a few weeks here and there. I tend to do that whenever I find that I can't find anything positive to say and feel like I'm watching out of obligation rather than interest. I think the last time I did that was shortly after Wrestlemania 29. I would've done it last year around TLC and leading into the Rumble, but I attended TLC, so I was more invested despite the product being really bad at the time.

Although i never quit completely, 1995 tried my patience beyond belief. It was the first year that i didn't care if i missed WWF Superstars or WCW Saturday Night. Or even Raw. I watched, intermittently, and bought a few ppvs, but KOTR was the last one i sprang for until 96. I didn't get the "must watch" vibe again until Nitro debuted, and even though a lot of the booking remained queationable from both companies, it was miles better than the first half of the year.

I mentally checked out as a fan during the Invasion angle but kept going through the motions for a few more years. WWECW was it for me. I didn't watch for at least 5 years after that.

As a huge ECW fan, the whole ECW on Sci Fi thing really bummed out. I didn't watch any wrestling again for a good 5 years

I stopped 2014, that Daniel Bryan stuff made it so boring, only tune in for ppvs on occasion

I stop watching all the time - usually for years at a time. During that time, I'll casually pay attention to who the champ is and the results of PPVs. Then I'll be totally in for about a year, watching all the shows, listening to podcasts and posting here. I used to watch old DVD's to catch up, but now I can watch Hulu, YouTube and the WWE Network. Having podcasts, this site and all the new options to watch has kept me interested for more than a year this time. But, despite really being excited about the brand split, I feel my interest waning and am probably about to go into a multi-year hiatus.

The time I stopped watching was aroun 2009-2010 - couldn't stand Matt Striker's commentary, because he had a school teachers gimmick, he always sounded smug and fake, and always corrected JBL and Michael Cole if they got the name of a move wrong (but maybe that was just Striker's on-screen character, maybe he's nice in real-life)
the annonymus raw GM, where the computer would beep, and Michael Cole would get up on the stand and say: 'CAN I HAVE EVERYONES ATTENTION PLEASE.....'
absolutely hated 2009-2010, the product was dire.

I watched religiously from Canadian Stampede The Hart Foundation vs SCSA LOD Shamrock & Goldust. Until the 2nd raw after the first draft. I really dug the Invasion it was very well done but after that I couldn't get into having 2 separate shows that had almost 0 baring on each other. I just started watching again with my 8 year old son and were really enjoying it.. we went to Summerslam Heatwave House show in Wildwood a few weeks ago and had an AMAZING time. All my memories came rushing back especially seeing Goldust there. We've been hooked since and Im really digging a lot of the talent they have now.

I stopped a couple times. I started watching in 93, my first break was after wm2000. Wasn't really interested with the product with no stone cold. Came back for the 6 man hell in a cell. Then I stopped again in 2006. It was really bad then. Came back in 2009 when I went to survivor series. Now i only really watched ppvs. Raw is hard to watch these days.

Sometime in 2009 I stopped watching for a few months. I know I was watching during the RTWM 26 so I guess it was a few months in 2009.....
It didn't last long....at all.

Since probably around the end of high school (2004), I have watched wrestling on and off. And while I was in college and grad school(all the years between 2004 and now), I chose not to watch because I had other, way more important things to do. Wrestling became a holiday viewing thing, over summer or Christmas break. But there were many times I'd watch for a few weeks and realize I did not care and quit watching again. I am pretty sure I have gone months up to years that I didn't watch. Kept up with it, but thats all. Also special events (outside of ppvs) can convince me to try again. I watched leading up to the 1000 ep of raw. I mostly stuck around this summer to see what would happen with the draft.
But with my new job starting in a few weeks, I am probably going to stop watching again. Once again more important things to do. But also, most of the stuff post draft I feel like I am fastforwarding through and not caring about. So now seems like a good time to stop anyway.
There has also been a few times that the product was just so bad, boring, and uninteresting that I would rather play with my wrestling figures than actually watch.

I just pulled the plug, literally maybe 15 minutes ago. I was up to the August 1st show, but decided to hit the dvr x to delete. I have been 3 weeks behind for awhile now. But with my new job starting in a week, wrestling would just be a distraction and take time away from things I actually need to be doing. Plus, looking at all the future results especially for Smackdown, I would have fastforwarded through most of whatever WWE show anyway.
With the exception of a few eps of NJPW, I am now done for awhile. Granted, they could always promote something to draw me back in.

I watched as a kid up to 2002. Didn't watch again until 2010 the night Bret returned to WWE. Bret/HBK on the first RAW of 2010 was the only nostalgia segment WWE ever got right during the 2010-2012 WWE nostalgia kick.
Tuned out again for a little bit until the Nexus got me into it again. Stayed on when CM Punk started building momentum early 2011 up until he left in 2014. Just got back into it. Dolph/Dean Ambrose promo from this past Tuesday was one of the best promos I've seen. Dolph winning the WWE title could do wonders for the WWE.

I watched from 95-99 religiously, even remember being a kid & watching shotgun Saturday night on scribbly channel that my area didn't get lol. Then I went to high school, other things became more important, cars, girls, friends, job....finally started again in 2005 & haven't stopped since
