I have been lurking these internet dwellings for a couple years now. Never was compelled to create a profile until now. Debating on adding this to the Collection for my Hardcore ring. Anyone got any pictures of this attached to the ring to see what it looks like?? much thanks, and glad to be on the forums "officially" now!  |

I don't have pics of it but do own it. The apparatus does not make it to the very center of the ring if that was your concern. But it makes it far enough for good play.

I actually have these pieces loose from a bundle and never knew what they were for. I still don't understand how it works looking at the packaging either!

I actually have these pieces loose from a bundle and never knew what they were for. I still don't understand how it works looking at the packaging either! Pretty sure you assemble the two halves and clip the bottom half to the top of a turnbuckle post (not sure if it works on any or the hardcore ring gear ones) and put a title on the upper half. I know someone on here had a picture and said they used to have it in their old collection and was hoping to find one again... |

Were there other sets like that? Depends on what you mean. There were sets with different weapons, some with ring aprons and ropes (or turnbuckles and posts) for the hardcore ring, and some with gear like a hurricane cape. |

I know Jakks made a prop trunk that is pretty rare [brWell the hardcore ring gear sets mostly consisted of random weapons, and special ring gear which helped enhance the hardcore and attitude rings. (The reason why many Jakks collectors praise it as the best ring) You can see an example of a ring gear set in my latest jakks thread. As stated, other sets ranged from weapons, match stipulations (ex. tlc with a title), special ring parts (aprons, turnbuckles, posts, ropes, ect.), and character-themed accessories. The prop trunk you speak of was some kind of back stage themed set that also had a camera iirc |

i wish people can post the pictures of them, especially in conjunction of Mattels Some Jakks accessories go great with Mattel accessories or vice versa I'd have to agree on that. That's why I'm using the ring gear turnbuckle pads on my Authentic Scale Ring for my mattel figures... Definitely helps when trying to make a flashback set up. |
