I get why it was done the way that it was. It instantly gave me the "UFC" feel to show uniformity across the board.
But when they are saying they want, "2 distinct brands" you'd think they'd want their title's to not look identical (minus a color switch).
I don't hate it, but I definitely groaned when I saw it.

They used the exact same level of creativity to both name it and design it...which is low.

i actually kind of like it. i dont love it, but i dont hate it. people go ing ape crap over the yellow strapped IC belt, or the light blue winged eagle so whats the difference? its meant to stand out from the other belts, it's the color of RAW. why should they go through the process of creating another new belt design when this one already works and in a few years when they end the brand split again they can unify both belts without everyone bitching about wanting a specific belt design back I think it's more about all the new belts looking the same |

If you havent had a problem with the WWE championship design, and u have a problem with the Universal, your a fool. Your biggest complaint could be that you dont like red. Or that you dont like the same design being used. But thats not a problem with the actual mold and design od the belt, just your preference. I really dont see how anyone can think its hideous but be totally ok with the WWE title.

All of the new titles the WWE have introduced over the last 10 years have looked like garbage. The garish WWE logo taking up the entire face plate looks like something a child would've developed. There are many ways they could've kept the WWE logo front and center without having it look so childish.

Not a fan. Of any of them really. To see the underlying theme behind 'the WWE Universal' championship be just a different colour is crud. smh

Eh it could have been worse. People will get over it in a couple of weeks and then move onto the bitching and moaning of the Smackdown Womans belt when that comes out, then the new tag titles, then someone's boots, then after that I'm sure Cole will wear a shirt that's questionable.
