No match in the world can burn the image of that hideous title belt out of my head. That tomato soup colored belt will not look good on anyone's waist. Same for the women's and WWE belts. They lack character and are compete eye sores.
Btw why does Seth care? Dry your eyes with a $50 bill and move on dude.

I don't blame the crowd. The title looks like 5hit.

This was supposed to be a big fight feel. Brand new title, let alone a title that was going to represent RAW heading into the future. The least they could of done was put some thought process into making this title mean something. Instead they probably had a meeting and said "Hey, wonder if we use the same design as the World Title and just change the strap to red if the fans will notice?" I felt bad for them because they were putting it all on the line out there but yeah, I can't say I blame them for the reaction.

Thought they had a great match. Not a fan of the title myself, but smark crowds always try to put themselves over like that. Was to be expected, but still, I agree it was disrespectful

Feel bad for seth. The guy mostly puts on good matches but as much I want to love balor I honestly haven't seen him do anything that I'm like wow at all. He's not exciting to watch. Some over head kicks and some quick combos along with the worst finishing move ever just doesn't impress me at all. He needs to step it up for me to really invest in him.

Balor's okay, but definitely not up to the level that he's being shoved down our throats with this mega push. Winning the main title of his brand on his PPV debut a month after debuting. Biggest push they've given any newcomer yet, and given Finn's limitations, a risky one. Still, they need to get those new faces up there so it's commendable that they pulled the trigger on someone finally.

I like Seth, but the fans were tired at that point and that belt was terrible. I mean its not like their match was all that great anyways, a big letdown for me (as was most of the show).

Oh boo hoo.. I like Seth. But does he have to cry over that fact via twitter? Thats just lame. He'd be lying if he said the belt looks beautiful. It did look bad and the crowd was just letting their voices be heard. Move on Seth.

It was literally my least favourite crowd I've ever watched, I feel bad for NXT fans who put up for that.
There's actually people that like wrestling in the crowd and don't crap on every single thing and want to watch a PPV that was enjoyable.
I feel bad for him.

I feel bad for both Balor and Rollins in that match, but I do believe that paying fans have every right to boo whatever they want to boo, even if it's something like the design of a championship belt. I'm not keen on the new belt design myself (seriously, the red background doesn't work well - if they wanted to go the route of being the same, but different, why not just take the WWE Championship design and change the gold bits to platinum silver, then you'd have something that matches, but still stands out on it's own and will look good any anyone), but WWE shot Rollins and Balor in the foot with they're decision making at SummerSlam.
For one, they debuted a bad looking title. More importantly, they made the new Universal Championship (and the current WWE Championship) seem far less important than they should have by putting both matches in the wrong spot. If we, as fans, are to believe that the WWE World and Universal Championships are the supreme prizes in the industry, they NEED to go on last because we, as fans, have been conditioned to believe that the most important match goes on last. So, what WWE just told us at SummerSlam is that both titles are basically less important than whatever Roman Reigns is doing and definitely less important that the supreme high ruler of all combat sports (even though he cheats and admits he doesn't give a crap about fans, the business, or the men and women that bust their ass day in and day out within it). Until WWE starts treating their titles like they actually mean something, you're going to get fans crapping on the title matches time and time again.
They do it right in NXT. I don't understand why the can't or won't on the main roster.

I never believed in hijacking like that. Yeah you don't have to like it but give two of the hardest grinders the respect they deserve.

Felt bad for both guys. I was there and it was funny at first but when it kept going, it was getting annoying. That's the problem with New York crowds. No matter who it is they have no problem hijacking a match. A majority of fans were in Rollins shirts and you would think the match would have there full attention

I get booing the title at the start but it takes a special kind of stupid to bury a 20 minute match because you don't like the title design, as bad as it is.

When the crowd first starting chanting I thought "Wow they're really into this!". Then I realized I couldn't make out what they were chanting. Once I did, I was surprised/embarrassed. We had two fantastic athletes in a dream match, and everyone cared about a title.

Debuting a new main title should of ended the show. They not only did not do that, but put it 3rd to the last. It make 0 sense.

Well he's not wrong to be a little pissed at the crowd for investing more time and energy into the design of the title than the actual match. This.
