WWF Superstars of Wrestling May 11th, 1991 (Apr. 14 taping) Hosts: Vince McMahon and Bobby "the Brain" HeenanThe "Legendary" Tony Atlas makes his official return. Tony Atlas returned to the Royal Rumble as "Saba Simba", what a terrible way to use a guy who could bench press the Hulkster into a ridiculous character that didn't last long. But in this timeline he came back doing houseshows earlier in the year and worked with some other talent in the back. Vince finally gave him a big push as a heal teaming him up with Slick and calling him The "Legendary" Tony Atlas. Atlas is to feud with "big" faces. Notable matches: The "Legendary" Tony Atlas (w/Slick) def. Brian Costello & Doug Wallen (jobbers) via pinfall in a Handicap match.
Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat def. Col. Mustafa (w/General Adnan) via pinfall.

Rick "the Model" Martel via pinfall.___________________ The Immortal Hulk Hogan promo: Rowdy Roddy Piper, for years you and I have battled it out time and time again and no one could pin the other. The reason I spared you that night from the beating of your life is that I have to know...I just have to know if I could pin you once and for all! I got to know and I want you to be at your best so I could beat your at your best and the history books will finally close with the Immortal one coming out as the victor. So what'cha gonna do when the largest arms in the world, runs wild on you!

Hogan is up as Piper rakes his eyes, Piper gets the crowd riled up, but Hogan gets angry and starts to land punches and whips Piper to the ropes as Hogan lands the Axe Bomber. One of the women wipe Hogan's forehead. Piper gets on the outside and grabs a chair. He smashes it over Hogan's head as Hogan is bloodied and hurt. The referee decides to end the match. The ref gets some heat from the decision. Piper gets in the ring and argues with the referee as the ring announcer announces that since Piper had exposed a turnbuckle and used a chair on Hogan, he has disqualified him. The crowd are angry with the decision. Winner: The Immortal Hulk Hogan via DQ. Hulk retains the WWF Championship.

The Arsenio Hall Show July 16, 1991 Special Guest: The Immortal Hulk Hogan
Note: This is the infamous episode of Hulk Hogan lying about steroids, in this timeline it's slightly different. Hall: My next guest is one of a kind, he is the current World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion, however recently he has had a change of heart and decided to become well...a bad guy...ladies and gentlemen the Immortal Hulk Hogan! Hogan: (Hulk comes out to a mixed reaction) Thanks for having me here brother. Hall: Now Hulk...you were once beloved by kids, by fans everywhere around the world...what happened? Hogan: Well you know...I'm sure I'm still loved by some (two fans cheer), see some people do...Hey Arsenio I thought you'd always be a Hulkamaniac? And you were the guy that doubted I could defeat the Ultimate Warrior. Hall: (laughs) I was wrong...but you're a bad guy now? You got the whole changing attitude, you know you kind have forgotten the training and prayers and taking your vitamins...you aren't a role model to kids anymore...are you? Hogan: I never abandoned the training brother, but what you gotta do and this is for the adults, is train hard, play hard and love hard brother... Hall: (laughs) Okay...Hulk I'm sure you've been hearing about the allegations that you've used steroids in the past is it true? Did you use steroids? Hogan: You know brother...when you're into bodybuilding, you kind of have that mindset to get bigger and bigger...and this was before it was illegal, I did take steroids for bodybuilding and also as a prescription too when it was needed for injuries...no one ever forced me to take it and there is no playbook in professional wrestling that requires you to use it. It's a mistake, you shouldn't use it, but no one ever told me I had to do it and it was a personal choice. The WWF has set up a program to ensure that no one is taking it. Hall: Well Hulk I appreciate your honesty about that, now you've been battling it out with Rowdy Roddy Piper who doesn't look like a guy of your physique, but you've been at him for sometime and he's a fan favorite no doubt take a look at this quick clip from the WWF (shows some highlights of the match). So that's the Dragon there isn't it interfering...Ricky the Dragon Steamboat? Hogan: O yah he interfered in my match brother, I was this close to getting my first pinfall over Rowdy Roddy Piper that would've ended a decade of mystery surrounding who would win between us in a match and if you're listening Ricky Steamboat, if you think I'm going to be let this one go, you're wrong. I'm saying this on national television, on the best late night show around brother! I'm challenging you to a match at SummerSlam on August 26th, live on PPV brother.

Vince McMahon Shoot Interview in 2001 Interviewer: So Hogan admitted about steroid use on the Arsenio Hall show, how did that affect the wrestling business going forward? Vince: Well since Hogan was already a heel it worked okay, I mean if he was a face...I don't know what he would've said I mean he was Hulk Hogan and probably would've thought about his image more than anything else. But as a heel...well a heel could admit the use of it because the image was changed so I was okay with Hogan admitting it just as long as he ensured others the truth about its use and in the WWF. Interviewer: But it seemed obvious that some wrestlers like the Ultimate Warrior who had that physique would've... Vince: Well Warrior had to go through testing to see if he was using just as everyone else. Interviewer: So what happened with the Warrior in 1991? We all thought it was cause of the steroids... Vince: No No...I mean sure image of the WWF was going to always be at stake when it came to steroids just like it was in the NFL and other sports, but what Warrior did was that he started to ask for more money, and I told him we'd work it out in the near future. He knew that Wrestlemania VII had a huge PPV buyrate, near 2.0 buy rate (about 800k) I think, but our tickets revenue hit over $5.2 million, a record for us. I had originally wanted him to go up against Hulk at SummerSlam, and with Hogan as a heel with the title it was going to be big business. But it fell short as in the summer Warrior wrote a letter of demands to me. So I had Warrior set up against Mark (the Undertaker) for SummerSlam as they were already in a hot feud... Interviewer: What did he demand? Vince: It was something like $750,000 for Wrestlemania to buy a house, increase in his cut of merchandise sales and house show ticket buy, and he demanded previous PPV bonuses that he believed was owed to him...he had a list I remember SummerSlam in 1988, it was on the list and he asked $100,000 for it even though he wasn't scheduled for the event, but due to circumstances out of our control we had to put him in a quick match with the Honkey Tonk Man and even gave him the Intercontinental championship that same night. I mean can you imagine not even working a whole minute one night and demanding an extra $100,000? It's unfortunate because I gave in to those demands. It was like he was putting a gun to my head and asking for money. And that ruined our relationship. I really believed Warrior could've carried the company further as the top guy.

Roddy Piper what tips have you given Ricky Steamboat because he is on a roll and he has been undefeated since his return to the WWF earlier this year. Hawk of LoD via DQ as Animal runs in and the Nasty Boys and LoD go at it. _____________________________________________________ The Immortal Hulk Hogan (c) vs. Sgt. Slaughter (w/Jim Duggan) for the WWF Championship with Special Guest Referee: Sid Justice
Sgt. Slaughter in a prematch promo says that Hulk is not an American hero and never was. Sid Justice is introduced and walks out in ref gear and Vince says this will give him some practice, but Heenan reminds everyone that someone who has never refereed shouldn't be refereeing a World Championship match and blames Jack Tunney for a ridiculous decision. Vince says that Sid is a man of Justice and will do justice in the match. Sgt. Slaughter walks out with Jim Duggan and has the American flag with him as he swings it around in the ring. The Immortal Hulk Hogan walks in with four ladies this time. He starts to pose till Slaughter attacks Hogan with the flag and hands it over to Duggan. Slaughter is on the offensive, manages a snapmare and atomic noogie on Hogan. Vince says that Hogan could be going more balder after that one and Heenan says it's wrong. Slaughter lifts Hogan for a Texas Piledriver for the pin to two. Slaughter bodyslams HHogan and hits an elbow drop from the second rope. Hogan tries to get up as Slaughter hits the ropes for a short-arm clothesline on Hogan's back. Slaughter goes for the Camel Clutch in the middle of the ring and Hogan is in pain as the crowd is now up on their feet wondering if Hogan could lose this one. Slaughter holds on tight and Hogan looks like he is outcold. The referee checks on Hogan, but Hogan grabs a hold of the ref's hand for leverage and lifts Slaughter on his back. Hogan drops Slaughter to the corner. Despite the back pain, Hogan starts landing punches and whips Slaughter to another corner for a clothesline. Hogan lifts Slaughter over his shoulder and lands his face on the turnbuckle. Hogan starts to taunt Jim Duggan. As the ref is looking over at Slaughter, Duggan gets on the ropes and jumps Hogan. Hogan pushes him and gets on the outside as they both go at it. Sid sees this and gets on the outside stopping them both. He warns Hogan that he'll disqualify him and Hogan starts to talk trash to Sid as Duggan hits his backe and tosses him back in the ring with Sid following him. Heenan says that's not justice. Slaughter lands a few chops and bodyslams Hogan. He goes to the top ropes for a Slaughter Cannon (lariat) but Hogan catches him mid air, and does a running powerslam. Hogan lifts Slaughter fast for a piledriver and lands it for the pin to two. Hogan gets frustrated at Sid for what he calls a slow count. Sid says to shut it and gives him another warning. Heenan says that was definitely a slow count. Hogan gets angry and starts beating on Slaughter's head and elbow razing his forehead. Slaughter is now bloody and Hogan lifts Slaughter for a body slam and leg drop for the win. Winner: The Immortal Hulk Hogan via pinfall to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship.Hulk looks at Sid waiting for his hands to be raised up but Sid has a cold stare at him. Hulk starts talking trash, but Sid finally does it and raises his hand. Hogan asks Sid for the belt to be handed over to him. Sid takes his time on the outside and grabs the title belt and looks at it. He gets in the ring and hands it over to Hulk. Hulk talks trash and leaves.

They get on the mic and Tugboat says to call him the Typhoon and that Hogan was right all along and he finally saw the light when Earthquake defeated him at Wrestlemania. Earthquake says that they are the Natural Disasters and will become the future Tag Team Champions. ______________________________________________________ Ricky the Dragon with Mean Gene: Gene: Later tonight you are in the match of your career and it's no doubt this will be the first time you're challenging for the World title. Ricky: It's been long over due. I've held multiple championships around the world, but the WWF Heavyweight Championship...that is the ultimate title, the only one true World championship and that title belongs to the Hulkster. Gene: Where is Rowdy Roddy Piper, I don't see him with you. Ricky: O he'll be at my corner watching my back you can be sure about that, but he's been invited to a wedding of a lifetime. Gene: The ring is being set up as we speak for the wedding of the century. Ricky: That's right just as the Macho Man makes history tonight to finally wed the love of his life, there is nothing more than I would love to see is Hulk Hogan's love of his life, the WWF World title to be around my waist. The fans are with me, the world is watching, Hulk Hogan...it's life or death, it's good or evil, it's the choices we make that determines our fate...and tonight the Dragon will rise and the fire will burn when I pin you 1..2..3... Gene: I can't wait for this one back to you Gorilla! ______________________________________________________ The Wedding of Randy "Macho Man" Savage and Miss ElizabethClose relatives and friends of the Macho Man and Elizabeth are in attendance including some WWF Superstars in suits. The priest makes his speech and says "if anyone can show just cause why this couple cannot be joined together in matrimony, let them speak now or forever hold their peace". Suddenly a man comes out and it's the Nature Boy Ric Flair on the mic (being held by Brother Love) in his wrestling gear and the Gold Belt title around his waist though mostly hidden. Heenan goes nuts on commentary and Vince can't believe it either as he also recognizes who it is. Most fans recognize Ric. Ric Flair: For those who know me, they know me as the Nature Boy Ric Flair...as the Real World's Heavyweight Champion. I flew in from a professional wrestling organization down south to risk everything to be here tonight for this wedding. Savage: What the hell is this, what do you want Nature Boy? (Elizabeth looks frightened and has her hand over her mouth) Flair: I want what I came here for, because when you Macho Man were with Scary Sherri, prancing around as a King...I was battling it out with guys like Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat for the Real World Title and then I met this beautiful woman, she was wonderful and she meant the world to me. She didn't want anyone knowing about our relationship, so I was okay with it. Randy: (looks at Liz) What is this guy talking about? Flair: Well baby I can't do it anymore...truth is I loved you I always have. After all the women in the world after all the time I spent with supermodels and beauties there was no one else better no one else more special than you. Randy: Who are you talking about...what is this? Flair: Miss Elizabeth...I beg you do not marry this man. This same man who hurt you, because I never did I never did hurt you. You came to me when you had no one and we were closer than ever. You professed you loved me too, but always held on to the idea that maybe the Macho Man will change. But that can never be, you know it it's a fantasy...Macho Man can never change. I love you...always will! Randy: (gets in Flair's face) Why don't you take your belt and scram! (Flair backs away as Randy looks at Liz) Is it true...is it true honey? I can't....I can't believe this...you were with the likes of this guy? Liz: I'm sorry...but we weren't together at the time...Randy please...I only love you. Randy: Did you love this man when we weren't together? Did you? Liz: No no...I love you Randy. Randy: (grabs Liz's wrist) Do you still love this man? Liz: You're hurting me... Randy: (let's go) Sorry...I'm sorry this wedding's off! (he runs off as Liz chases after him). Vince: (on commentary) I can't believe what we've just witnessed! Heenan: A match made in heaven? Give me a break this has turned into a match made in hell! ______________________________________________________ Big Boss Man (c) vs. Mr. Perfect (w/the Coach) for the WWF Intercontinental Championship Note: Mr. Perfect is working with an injured back and while the title was originally planned for him he has to take time off. SUMMERSLAM 91
PART 2 OF 2
Backstage footage is shown. Macho Man gets in the limo and drives off as Liz is alone in the parking lot with WWF Officials near her. Ric Flair gets close, but some of WWF Superstars push him back with Security guards taking him away. Liz is in tears. Vince: I can't believe that Ric Flair had the audacity to interfere in this wedding. He had no business being out here especially in the World Wrestling Federation. Heenan: Maybe he's had a change of heart and wants to join up . I wouldn't be surprised if he does. Vince: We'll just see about that. ________________________________________________ The Nasty Boys (w/Jimmy Hart) (c) vs. Legion of Doom for the WWF Tag Team ChampionshipsIn a classic tag match, the Legion of Doom defeat the Nasty Boys when they hit the doomsday device on Brian Knobbs for the win. Winner: Legion of Doom via pinfall and NEW WWF Tag Team Champions.________________________________________________ The Ultimate Warrior vs. The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) in a Bodybag Match. Special Guest Referee: Sid Justice Note: There were no promo interviews from these two as Vince couldn't wait to get rid of the Warrior and planned to suspend him immediately after the match. Vince is not on commentary for the match. Sid Justice walks out with a Bodybag that is set in a corner. Howard Finkel explains the match that in order to win one wrestler has to put their opponent in the body bag and zip it up. The Undertaker walks out with Paul Bearer. The Ultimate Warrior runs out to a big pop and Taker takes an early advantage. Taker continues with neck chops, but Warrior starts to shake the ropes and hits the ropes for a clothesline. Thre clotheslines later and Taker finally falls. Taker sits up, Warrior hits the ropes for a dropkick while Taker was sitting. Warrior goes to the top ropes waiting for Taker, and hits the flying shoulderblock as Taker falls. Warrior lifts Taker, but Taker gets a chokehold and hits the chokeslam. He calls for the bodybag as Sid lays it in front of him. Warrior gets up fast and starts running around the ring as Sid gets the bag and puts it back in the corner. Taker tries to attack Warrior, but Warrior continues to get pumped up and starts landing punches, clotheslines and two flying shoulderblocks. Paul Bearer enters the ring to use the urn on Warrior, but Warrior counters and tosses Paul on the outside. Warrior grabs the urn, empties it and strikes Taker's head as Taker is outcold. He calls for the bodybag and Warrior zips up Taker for the win. Winner: The Ultimate Warrior via bodybag. Sid unzips the bag at the end as Taker is still outcold. There all wondering what happened to Taker as Sid calls out WWF Officials and a team of paramedics get him on a stretcher. As Paul gathers whatever is left from the urn in the ring and puts it back in the urn he raises it and Taker sits up on the stretcher. ________________________________________________ Immortal Hulk Hogan promo with Mean Gene: Gene: Immortal Hulk Hogan, I gotta ask...whoa who are these lovely ladies (four of them with Hulk). Hogan: Nothing for you to worry about Mean Gene. Gene: You are just moments away from going up against a guy who you've never met in the ring. Hogan: Doesn't matter. It doesn't matter who it is brother...because the Immortal one will never die, will never lose and I will always be the World Champion. Gene: Immortal Hulk Hogan this arrogant attitude is beyond you...aren't you worried about how degrading your reputation is now and to top it off... Hogan: Well you know something Mean Gene, Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat has nothing on the Immortal one brother. He's a short fluke, that's what he is and doesn't deserve to face me. Gene: Well you're the one who challenged him. Hogan: Of course I did for one he screwed me over from getting the pinfall over Piper once and for all and most importantly, I want to make an example out of him, out of Piper and out of all the guys in the back who don't stand a chance because after tonight I will prove that Steamboat is a nobody and doesn't deserve to be in the likes of the Hulk Hogans brother (leaves). Gene: Back to you Gorilla! _________________________________________________ The Immortal Hulk Hogan (c) vs. Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat (w/ Rowdy Roddy Piper) for the WWF Heavyweight Championship
Howard Finkel introduces Rowdy Roddy Piper. Hulk's "Real American" theme song is on as Rowdy Roddy Piper makes his way out with a yellow Hulkamania shirt and Hulk's mannerisms as a mockery. Gorilla laughs it out and so do some of the fans. Piper gets in the ring and rips the shirt (which was over his own Hot Rod shirt). He starts to spit and stomp on it and tosses it ringside. He uses the hand gesture and starts to pose. Heenan goes nuts and says this is a mockery to the greatest champion who has ever lived. Ricky Steamboat is out and runs to the ring to a pop. Hulk's "Big Time" theme song is on as he makes his way out with four ladies with him. They even hold the ropes for him as he enters the ring and starts to pose. Hulk stands before Ricky face to face and starts to laugh and makes a mockery of his height. Ricky gets really angry and starts to chop the heck out of Hogan as the bell rings. Chop after chop (in different styles too) the fans start going wild. Ricky hits the ropes for a dropkick on Hogan, as Hogan falls outside of the ring. Hulk's frustrated and can't believe it. Hogan gets on the ropes, and Ricky brings him in using the ropes itself as Hogan flips right in. Ricky lifts Hogan showing his strength for a few seconds and does a front powerslam for the pin to two. Ricky hits a spinning heel kick and lifts Hogan up on a corner. At the very top Ricky lands an amazing superplex for the pin to two. Ricky goes to the top ropes and hits a big splash on Hogan for the pin to two. Ricky gets Hogan up, but Hogan manages to lift Ricky up for a german suplex. Hogan starts beating on Ricky as Piper on the outside mocks Hogan with the torn shirt in his hand. Hogan gets up and points his fingers as Ricky does a roll up for the pin to two. Hogan is frustrated and lands punches. He whips Ricky for the ropes to hit a clothesline, but Ricky ducks and hits a diving crossbody on Hogan for the pin, but Hogan manages to toss Ricky out of the ring. Piper and Ricky talk it out. Hogan is up as Ricky gets back in the ring. Hogan whips Ricky to the ropes and hits the big boot. Hogan hits the ropes, but accidently knocks the referee down. Hogan hits the leg drop for the pin, but there is no referee. Sid Justice walks out in his ref uniform. Heenan says what is this guy doing here. Sid checks on the referee and gets in the ring for the pin to two. Ricky kicks out as Hogan starts arguing with Sid. Ricky starts to land punches on Hogan, but Hogan starts Hulking up and finger points, he blocks the punches, and hits the three punch and goes for the big boot, but Ricky ducks and from the ropes hits a flying elbow dive. Hogan falls Ricky goes to the top ropes and hits a diving crossbody from the top on Hogan and locks on Hogan's legs for Sid to do a superfast pin count to three as the crowd explodes in excitement. Winner: Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat via pinfall and NEW WWF Heavyweight Champion.
Hogan does kick out (if it was a real three count it would've been a kick out) and sits up in disbelief as Ricky and Piper are celebrating the win. Sid hands over the belt to Ricky. Hogan sees the three of them together and he leaves the ring. He starts walking up the aisle in total disbelief that he was cheated. Heenan shouts that Hogan was cheated out of the match and that was the fastest count in the history of fast counts. Even Gorilla agrees with Heenan that it was a fast count, but mentions that the referee's decision is final. _________________________ Sean Mooney with Ricky Steamboat and Roddy Piper: Sean is in the back trying to get a word with Ricky and Piper who are on their way to the locker room. Piper: This is the greatest moment in WWF history, Hulk Hogan has been pinned and lost the WWF Championship! Ricky: I told you I would do it this is the greatest moment in my life in my whole career! I can't believe it! Sean: But don't you think that was a fast count? Piper: I can't hear you! WWF Superstars in the back start congratulating Ricky and tossing Wedding champagne over his head as they celebrate. _________________________ Mean Gene with Immortal Hulk Hogan: Gene: I am now here with this man... Hogan: What the heck was that! What the heck was that Mean Gene! Once again I was robbed! Where was Tunney? Where were the WWF Officials? Sid Justice is not a referee! He has cheated me out of the World title! O my gosh! My gosh! This can't be happening this can't be happening! Gene: I must admit Immortal Hulk Hogan that that pin was indeed fast. Hogan: Of course it was! You saw it the world saw it! It was a fast pin and I was screwed over just like I always have been. And look at the fans cheering! They were cheering...o man well you know what fans you can just shove it! Gene: I can't believe what I'm hearing... Hogan: I can't believe that I'm going to say this...I can't do this alone as Tunney has it for me...I can't do this alone because everyone in the WWF is against me! Bobby Heenan if you're listening I want to talk the answer is Yes brother...I want you to manage me... Gene: After all he's done to you over the years you want to be managed my a man like Heenan? Hogan: Bobby Heenan has never tried to cheat his way to a win against me brother and how can you not admire a guy who has tried to put me down for years! Heenan will help me get that title back I just know it! Ah man! I was screwed! Ah!!! (Hogan leaves) Gene: Are you hearing that Brain... Heenan: (on commentary) What an injustice what an injustice they should call him Sid Injustice because he just screwed over the real Champion of the World. So yes Immortal one let's talk let's work this out and I promise I'll get that title on you again, real justice will be served!

WWF Prime Time Wrestling September 9th, 1991 Host: Vince McMahon Co-Host: Bobby "the Brain" Heenan Guests: Ricky Steamboat, IRS and Ric Flair Vince: Our first guest is the new World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion, Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat. But first some highlights from SummerSlam (highlights shown) Let's welcome the Dragon himself! Ricky: (comes out and sits) Thanks for inviting me. Heenan: I don't want to be here for this, the title was robbed (leaves) Vince: Alright Brain that's your choice...well Ricky, I am amazed because at SummerSlam you were in the match of your life and defeated the Immortal Hulk Hogan to become the WWF Champion. How does it feel Ricky: It feels...o my I can't even begin to describe the feeling all the fans out there poured out there support and I did what some considered was the impossible, defeat Hulk Hogan (audience cheer) Vince: But let's be honest here, WWF President Jack Tunney has in fact taken notice that Sid Justice who came out to officiate after the referee was knocked out, did in fact do a fast count costing the Immortal one the championship. Ricky: What do they say here in the WWF? A referee's decision is final. I don't remember anything about a fast count, all I know is that I have the Championship belt with me and history was made at Madison Square Gardens. Vince: Will you be offering the Immortal Hulk Hogan a rematch? Heenan: (walks back out) You better offer him a rematch! Ricky: I'll offer him a rematch no doubt, but I know there are a lot of other contenders for this world title belt. Heenan: You better...Immortal Hulk Hogan deserves more than this. You're just a nobody who became a somebody by cheating. Ricky: A nobody who is holding the World's title (holds it up as audience cheers), I'll take that any day. __________________________________________________ Tatanka debuts and defeats Jimmy Snuka via pinfall. IRS comes out as the next guest, and talks about how the Million Dollar belt is in safe hands and that he'll find a way to tax the life out of Jake Roberts. The Hart Foundation def. Bushwhackers via pinfall. The "Legendary" Tony Atlas (w/Slick) def. the Brooklyn Brawler via submission. ___________________________________________________ Vince: Out next guest is someone who caused much controversy at SummerSlam and has signed on with the World Wrestling Federation. He calls himself the Real World Champion with his gold belt, and has fought many great giants and legends in the world of Sports Entertainment and has won multiple world titles...let's bring out the one and only Nature Boy Ric Flair. Flair: (comes out) Thank you Vince I'm excited to be part of the World Wrestling Federation. Vince: I have to ask, as the world wants to know, why did you interrupt what was to be one of the greatest weddings... Flair: I didn't interrupt anything, I didn't cause the wedding to end, that was Randy Savage. But if I would go back and do it again I would. The fact is Elizabeth and I go way back, I even met her before Savage did. Vince: You what? You knew Elizabeth before... Flair: O yes, we dated long ago, but it wasn't serious at first, and later she started managing and dating Randy Savage for a while. Why do you think she came back to me after Randy chose Sherri? The fact is she came to me and hid this all from Randy and the WWF. I did the same we didn't want anyone to know about our relationship. And when we were together...it was magic. Vince: I mean ruining a wedding is still... Flair: No Vince...you don't understand, I never hurt her not once. I have never hurt her emotionally, physically, I'm not like the Macho Man. Have you seen how the Macho Man treated her throughout her WWF career? Vince: Well I can't speak for him... Flair: Elizabeth honey, if you're listening I want to talk. Let's talk baby because I'm back and I'm in the WWF for you whooo! I'll even give up this World title for you (displays the belt on TV). Vince: That's a big gold belt. Flair: It's a World Championship I won...but I couldn't have won this without Elizabeth. She is my everything Vince. Vince: Wow...they must be going through a lot I hope to get a word from them soon about their relationships and about your interference. Flair: Macho Man, I know your retired...but if you want to settle it like the old days, you want to settle it in the ring, I'll be the first to vouch for you. But for now...I just want to see Elizabeth.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling September 16th, 1991 Host: Vince McMahon Co-Host: Bobby "the Brain" Heenan Guests: Immortal Hulk Hogan and the Legion of Doom Vince: Alright our first guest... Heenan: No no no you don't get to do the introductions because I would like to make an official announcement. That's right the real WWF Heavyweight Champion, the greatest Superstar of all time, the greatest professional athlete in the world today has chosen me as his manager. That's right I would like to introduce to you the Immortal Hulk Hogan! Hogan: (comes out and Heenan and Hulk shake hands) That's right brother (sits down) me and the Brain are going to new places and heights. Vince: Wow Hulk Hogan I am amazed at this new partnership... Heenan: That's the Immortal Hulk Hogan, Vince. Vince: I apologize..the Immortal Hulk Hogan, Hulk I must ask why Bobby "the Brain" Heenan as your manager? Hogan: Bobby Heenan has never let any of his clients down brother. He got Andre the Giant a title shot and even got the World title on Mr. Perfect when he was managing him. Vince: But Bobby Heenan has been your biggest rival in Sports Entertainment history, the Heenan family... Hogan: The Heenan family is the Hulkster brother. Heenan: That's right all I need is the champ. Vince: Wow so Hulk how does it feel to lose the World title... Hogan: You know something Vince, it makes me angry brother, especially that good for nothing Sid "Injustice" who thinks he can come in to the WWF and do whatever he wants. I feel like beating up on someone. Just thinking about it makes me really angry I could maybe put a hold on you brother (stands up)... Vince: Hey hey please you're a guest on my show and I apologize for asking you...(Hulk sits) Heenan: You don't disrespect the greatest World's Heavyweight Champion ever, the Immortal one has beaten them all, he's done everything for the WWF, he gave him a good seven years and how do they repay him? How does Jack Tunney deal with the steal at SummerSlam? Vince: Well the good news is we have a new statement from President Jack Tunney regarding SummerSlam let's take a look. President Jack Tunney: "It has come to my attention that at SummerSlam, during the main event between the Immortal Hulk Hogan versus Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat, the referee was accidentally knocked out causing Sid Justice to quickly replace him as a referee. I had my full confidence in his ability to referee a match as he was fully trained. However the fast count at the end of the match was in fact deliberate, so therefore Sid Justice will not be able to officiate any longer.
On the other hand Mr. Bobby Heenan who is now the manager of the Immortal Hulk Hogan, has requested for the World title to be handed back to the Immortal Hulk Hogan and consider the SummerSlam match nullified. However since a referee's decision is considered final and after discussions with WWF Officials, we have decided to allow Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat to continue on as World Wrestling Federation Champion with the condition that he must offer an immediate rematch to the Immortal Hulk Hogan in the near future. Thank you."Heenan: What an atrocity! What an outrage! Jack Tunney admits it was a fast count... Hogan: That Jack Tunney is going down someday. As for you Ricky Steamboat, I'm not done with you. I want a title shot now brother so that I can become the first four-time World Champion in history brother. Next guests were the Legion of Doom as the New WWF Tag Team Champions and they are issuing out a challenge to the new tag team, the Natural Disasters.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling September 23rd, 1991 Host: Vince McMahon Co-Host: Bobby "the Brain" Heenan Guests: Sid Justice and The Rockers
Last week's Hogan interview highlight is shown and a clip from Hulk's movie "Suburban Commando". Behind the scenes, the WWF is trying to ensure that Hogan isn't involved in Dr. Zahorian's steroid case as Hogan did not admit he took it from the doctor, but admit he used steroids "before it was illegal". Vince: Our first guest tonight is the man who believes in justice and is Justice...that's right Sid Justice. Sid: (comes out and goes toe to toe with Heenan as Heenan backs away, he sits) What a great show you got here Vince. Vince: Thank you, but Sid, I think the world wants to know, why the fast count at SummerSlam? Sid: What fast count? Heenan: You got to stop lying (Sid jumps at Heenan as Heenan calls for security) Sid: I'm sorry (smiles and sits) you were saying? Vince: Well it's understood by President Jack Tunney that you deliberately pulled a fast count at the end of the main event at SummerSlam. Sid: You want to know the truth? Because Hulk Hogan is a politician, Hulk Hogan only thinks of himself. This is a guy who never wanted me to come into the WWF for years because I'm not only taller than him, I'm stronger, faster and better in every way. And finally after Jack Tunney realized the kind of guy Hogan is...he signed me on. Vince: Hulk Hogan isn't going to be happy hearing about this. Sid: I'm not afraid of him...I'm not afraid of him at all and I'm glad he's not the champion. Vince: Speaking of the champion, we are in a match in progress between the new WWF Champion Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat in his first title defense (this was a taping before SummerSlam) against Hercules. Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat (c) def. Hercules via pinfall to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship. After the pin and win they go back to studio (as Ricky had no belt at the time, but match is recognized on TV as a title match). Vince: What a match that was. Heenan: That should've been Hogan who got the title shot first. Sid: I think the Dragon is a guy who deserves it. It was long overdue. Heenan: And you made sure he got the title unfairly. Sid: (has a cold stare at Heenan, laughs and looks at Vince) If Hogan's got a problem, I'll take him on any time any place.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling October 7th, 1991 Host: Vince McMahon Co-Host: Bobby "the Brain" Heenan Guests: Randy "Macho Man" Savage and the Nasty BoysSurburban Commando movie is going "Direct to VHS" and WWF will be the first to sell it, fans can order the movie first before it's released at retail. Backstage it's known that the decision for the movie to be taken off of theatres is that Hogan's popularity has sunk with going heel (though steroid issue is also a reason), and Hollywood doesn't seem interested in working with him. Hogan is too happy working as a heel. Vince: That was a great clip of Surburban Commando starring the Immortal Hulk Hogan and Christopher Lloyd and you can be the first to order it now! Alright our first guest admist affairs and controveries is the one and only Randy "Macho Man" Savage! Randy: (comes out without Liz) Ooo ya...what a day what a day. Vince: You seem cheerful. Randy: Ooo ya...you see ever since the Nature Boy Ric Flair ruined my wedding and my honeymoon plans...I decided to take some time off and go on the honeymoon myself. Vince: Are you still with Miss Elizabeth? Randy: I went to vacation Vince to think a lot through. And I thought about it, I still love Liz...oo ya honey if you're listening it doesn't matter what your past is, you forgave me why shouldn't I forgive you? Sure we didn't marry at SummerSlam, but I still want to be with you (audience cheer). Vince: Alright well this is great news. I know this may be too soon to ask but do you think there will be another wedding? Randy: We'll just have to see ooo ya... Vince: Now what about the Nature Boy Ric Flair? Randy: What about him (audience laugh) Vince: Well I mean he is after Miss Elizabeth it would seem and... Randy: I am the Macho Man...ya! Nature Boy Ric Flair since you are vouching for me to get in the ring, than I want you to do it I want each and everyone in the audience and the folks watching at home to reinstate me as a WWF Superstar ya! I wanna get back in the ring and face you Nature Boy! Vince: Wow what a match that would be! Hopefully we'll hear from what Jack Tunney will say in the near future. Randy: O he better... Heenan: Mr. Perfect ended your career Randy...but after seeing the Nature Boy Ric Flair in the WWF...o my I wanna see this match I'll even support this. So Jack Tunney you who screwed the Immortal one time and time again...you better reinstate this man. Saturday Night's Main Event returns on October 19th and the Immortal Hulk Hogan finally gets his title shot.

Vince mentions it on TV in kayfabe that Warrior got vacation time for all his years of work and will make his WWF return at Survivor Series. Sid Justice def. Irwin R. Schyster (w/Ted Dibiase and Sherri) via pinfall. Sid won the match in two minutes by hitting a powerbomb and the pin with his foot on IRS. The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) def. The Big Boss Man (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion. Taker places Bossman in a body bag at the end of the match. Legion of Doom (c) def. The Nasty Boys (w/Jimmy Hart) via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. During the match, the Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) walk out to watch the match, but only taunted the Legion of Doom. Highlights shown from a Battle Royal taken place at Royal Albert Hall in London, England on October 3rd (though SNME was taped before) where the British Bulldog won the Battle Royal with Ric Flair who was the last participant thrown out. The "Nature Boy" Ric Flair def. Rowdy Roddy Piper via submission. In his televised WWF Debut match, Ric Flair defeated Roddy Piper (who issued out the challenge on Superstars to see what the "Nature Boy" was all about) with the figure-four leglock (Flair continued to attack Piper's legs and Piper went unconscious during the submission, though he didn't necessarily tap out, it's still a loss). Gorilla says that Ric Flair is definitely World Champion material after winning a huge match like this. ______________________________ Jack Tunney's Statement regarding Randy Savage's Career "After reviewing Randy Savage's appeal and the petitions from around the world about reinstating Randy "Macho Man" Savage as a WWF Superstar, and after lengthy discussions with WWF Officials, I have decided to permit Randy Savage to return to in-ring action under the condition that he wins his next match. If he does not win his next match, he will be considered retired and no further petitions or appeals will be allowed. This is to ensure fairness of WWF regulations. Thank you."

Hogan falls and gets on the outside to regroup with Heenan. Ricky goes to the top ropes and hits a double axe handle from the outside on Hogan as Heenan steps away. Ricky tosses Hogan back in and hits the ropes for a flying clothesline and pin to two. Ricky bodyslams Hogan and goes to the top ropes for a splash, but Hogan gets out of the way. Hogan gets up and starts on the offensive. He lifts Ricky for a powerslam and pin to two. Hogan starts to beat on Ricky's forehead and elbow rakes. Ricky gets to the ropes as the ref stops Hogan. Hogan gets up and lands kicks and seated sentons. Hogan drags Ricky into the middle of the ring and goes for a figure-four leg lock. Ricky is in alot of pain. Ricky reverses it and Hogan is now in pain as he almost taps, but breaks out in time. Ricky hits several chops across Hogan's chest, goes for the armbar as Hogan reverses with a standing clothesline. Hogan whips Ricky to the ropes and hits the Axe Bomber for the pin. Hogan thinks he won, but Ricky's foot is on the ropes. The ref tells Hogan he hasn't won and Hogan gets frustrated.
