We all know it's dead but what is the exact contract status. I feel like there is always demand for Hardys figures. Someone could easily throw something together especially with Broken Matt and Brother Nero popularity

I'm almost positive the actual deal with TNA was thru 2015. So, even if they actually did anything of note with it the last 2-3 years, we'd be out of luck for new product now. To your point, I'm sure there is a demand for Broken Matt, Brother Nero, Willow figures. Perhaps that other wrestling figure manufacturer that produces Jakks figures now, will/can do something pertaining to figures of those guys and a few other "Indy/Not Indy" types out there.

There's always hope that Jeff will run to WWE in an attempt to get away from his big brother, just to OH NOOO!!!

I often wonder if TNA would have had more success with their figures if they just did the RI style constantly instead of the DI style.
I believe one line of the RI figures did come out at Walgreens I wanna say?? Lethal, Sting, Angle, Abyss, Suicide and Styles...??
Either way, when I collected Jakks figures, I was always a fan of the RA style figures compared to the DA. So I really think that was the downfall with the TNA Jakks figures.

I wonder if a certain line of stars that are rising could make TNA figures. In RA style no less, like everyone wanted and Jakks ignored. I'd love to get EC3, Brother Nero, and Broken Matt Hardy.

The TNA line by Jakks failed because they didn't create new stars in it but rather crapped out most of the guys they had already made in their time with WWE. I can almost guarantee you that if Jakks still had the TNA line right now we'd get a bunch of Lashley figures and no EC3 figures. It's like the characters you actually wanted to buy from TNA, Jakks wouldn't make while guys like Angle, Kennedy, Hardyz, etc. got made again and again after already having WWE figures by Jakks. But the way things are going in TNA right now it doesn't matter since Drew Galloway and "Aron Rex" have WWE Mattel figures. Soon the older Mattel figures will make a nice TNA roster.

Interesting...

Interesting... Jakks focused too much on the former WWE stars, I never said they made them exclusively. Plus the Jakks TNA figure of Eric Young is pretty ridiculous.

All the Jakks figures were pretty ridiculous, TNA or WWE. When Rey Mysterio is like the same size as the Undertaker then something is wrong.

Yes they are. I even found their address and phone number! I also found that some time ago, but then found this: "The Original San Francisco Toymakers Overview The Original San Francisco Toymakers filed as an Articles of Incorporation in the State of California and is no longer active. This corporate entity was filed approximately twenty-four years ago on Thursday, January 9, 1992 as recorded in documents filed with California Secretary of State." I found another site about patents and it indicated that their last patents appeared to have expired in 2006. Although founded by the son of Lewis Galoob, David Galoob, in 1992, after David has been President of Galoob, a Saul Jodel is listed as president in the documents I found. Galoob was eventually bought in 1998 by Hasbro.

Distribution was a big problem, for example, Wal-Mart not carrying them in the US and Toys R Us not carrying them in the UK.
That always held them back.
