First the Falcons. Now the Dawgs. That's what I'm use to being a Georgia sports fan. Seeing as how the Hawks are 10-30 right now, I guess we're in for the Braves blowing a 3-1 World Series lead this year.

Grats to Alabama. Condolences to Georgia. What looked like a bad game in the first half definitely heated up in the second half.
Just gonna throw this out there for discussion. There are two football dynasties in the 2000s: the Patriots in the NFL and Alabama in the NCAA. Both owe a large part of their success to their head coaches. So... which coach do you think is better?

Here's some trivia for you.... The last time the Cleveland Browns won a playoff game their head coach was Bill Belichick and the defensive coordinator was.....Nick Saban

R.I.P Keith Jackson, THE voice of college football during my lifetime. I loved listening to him call a game.

Saban. He does it with new guys every time. No 2 decades of Brady in the ncaa. I know bama just picks and chooses recruits, but lots of schools do and they don't win titles. Plus lots of great high school guys bust in college (giggity) but bama is always there. But I think both are the best ever in their careers.i don't think there is even a debate anymore.

I just hope Pitt doesn't blow this year. Larry Fitz should have the 2003 Heisman trophy at his house.

Even Penn State managed to rebound from the damn near death penalty they received to be a national powerhouse and the most popular college football program in the state.

About ten years ago we were picked to win it. Made it 8 and got bounced. After that, we either don't make the tournament or if we do we lose to Xavier round one.

Hmmm... I think you've been working too hard. Might want to check the thread you're in. Heh heh. I retract my comments about Penn State though as they have never been relevant in basketball.
