My Playoff Predictions:
#1 Alabama #2 Ohio State #3 Louisville #4 Oklahoma State
I wanted to go somewhat off the beaten path but Bama and OSU are probably gonna be popular picks and are too hard to pass over, but I really like Oklahoma State's offense with Rudolph, Hill and Washington, they're gonna put up loads of points, and I like Louisville over Clemson and FSU cause they have fewer question marks as far as who's a for sure, established name who's gonna replace the players now gone. So I guess no Pac-12 team for me. Sorry USC and Washington.

I feel like Alabama, USC & Ohio St are locks for the playoffs. If either of them is to lose a game its likely an OOC game. Meaning they're likely still be a 1 loss conference champion. Which being the big 3 conferences, they're locks IMO.
The question is where does the 4th spot come from. With the ACC, there really isnt one team head and shoulders better then the rest. I can easily see FSU getting beat by Bama and Clemson which would eliminate them. I can see Clemson losing to Auburn, Louisville and/or FSU which could easily put them out. And I dont see Louisville being able to beat Clemson & FSU and there's going to be some teams in the ACC that sneak up on these teams as well (Miami). I honestly dont see the 4th bid coming from the ACC.
That really leaves only 1 conference which is the Big12. The only 2 legit threats from the Big12 are Oklahoma & Oklahoma St...IMO the winner of the game will eventually be the Big12 champs. Baring any major flubs, I think Oklahoma will have an early loss at Ohio St then rebound to finish off the conference and be the 4th seed in the playoffs.
#1 Alabama vs #4 Oklahoma #2 USC vs #3 OSU
Championship #1 Alabama vs #2 USC

Alabama vs. Florida State is going to be one hell of a game 2marrow. If that is the 3rd best team in the country, Bama wins the championship without breaking a sweat

Woke up to find out UCLA overcame a 34 point deficit in the final 16 minutes of the game against Texas A&M and caught a debate about whether the coach is on the hot seat. Seems pretty clear cut to me. You better be on the hot seat if your defense is that bad and can't close out the game.

Few things:
1. I'm kind of surprised Georgia is #1 and Bama is #2 in the initial rankings since I feel like Bama hasn't done anything or shown anything to warrant them not being #1, but then again Georgia has wins over Notre Dame and Mississippi State and Bama's best win is probably against TAMU so Georgia has the resume while Bama has the eye test.
2. I agree and disagree at the same time with Miami and Wisconsin being #10 and #9. On one hand, Miami has last minute/close wins against FSU, Georgia Tech and UNC (combined 7-16) and haven't looked dominant while Wisconsin hasn't really played anyone of note besides maybe Northwestern, but that "0" in the loss column has to mean something. With all the parity that exists in College Football, if you can somehow navigate it and remain unbeaten then you deserve to be rewarded for it.
3. Oklahoma being ahead of Ohio State was a nice surprise. The committee always seems to have a love affair with OSU every year so it's nice to see them reward Oklahoma for beating OSU earlier this year and not docking them for a loss to Iowa State that gets better and better every week.

Big Ten is screwed in the playoffs unless Wisconsin wins out, including the conference title game. No way do Ohio State or Penn State get in now with two losses each. Its looking more and more like two SEC teams will be in: Alabama and Georgia. Then Notre Dame. Not sure about the fourth team, but it could be the ACC champ.

Pitt taking it to Miami today. If Pitt beats Miami and Auburn beats Alabama then the playoff selection becomes a total crapshoot.

Miami being Miami
They're technically still not out of the playoffs but I fully suspected them to lose to Clemson anyway.
