After the questions I proposed previously I fully believe after yesterday that the rankings should be:
1. Michigan 2. Washington 3. Florida State 4. Texas 5. Alabama 6. Georgia
Saw a lot of chatter on TV in between the Bama/FSU games that they believed both Texas and Alabama should go in ahead of FSU. I couldn’t disagree more. I don’t care that they’ll have their backup QB in the semifinal, or that they had to play with the third string to beat Louisville. They did what they had to do to win, defense held a team averaging 33 pts a game to just 6 with everything on the line. It would also be god awful for those kids who participated in a 13-0 year only to be told “well your QB is hurt so better luck next year.”

I can't be mad with 29 game win streak, back 2 back national champions I’d still be holding my head high.

The rankings are just silly.
If Florida State isn’t good enough to be over Texas and/or Alabama, then what makes them good enough to be ranked higher than Georgia?

Glad Booger is there to make the point about FSU. He was the only person I heard on TV last night pushing for FSU. A shame this happened the year before going to 12 teams. This would’ve been a great year for 12.

FSU should be happy they got ranked 5th cause if this was next year and its a 12 team playoff...They're ranked 8th every team ahead of them, Georgia, Ohio State & Oregon are all better than FSU. Cant start & end your season playing good (teams that ended the season in Top25) teams and then sandwich in between with cupcakes and expect to be considered one of the best.

Who would you like them to schedule instead? Their conference is their conference and they don’t pick their conference schedule. Them not getting in has nothing to do with any of that, it is only because Jordan Travis got injured. There is too much focus on “best.” It doesn’t matter who is “better,” you play 60 minutes of football to find out who wins. In my opinion Georgia is still the “best” team in the country. Why are they ranked 6th? Well you see because there’s 3 teams who didn’t lose a game, another who beat them, and another who beat the team that beat them. Let’s put Georgia back to #1 if it’s about who looks the prettiest in the beauty pageant.

The clownshows went crazy with the Bama drama between Jalen and Tua, and adored the time the 3rd stringer did the thing at Ohio State.

At least when Cardale Jones played they beat Wisconsin what, 59-0? So they were able to be enamored with it before picking the final 4. Such a clownshow like you said, thankfully it’s 12 next year.

With or without Jordan Travis you're taking a 1 loss SEC team over an undefeated ACC Champion because of the schedule they play. Bama has 4 quality wins (teams that finished in top 25), FSU only has 2. FSU shouldnt be pissed Bama got it. They should be pissed Texas got in. Texas has the same quality wins that FSU did (2) but also has a loss to the #12 team, which is the worst of to top 8.

The prospect of embarrassing Saban and the Tide on national tv was too much to resist 🤷
All a show to raise people's dander and prep them to welcome the 12-team format next year.

I'd be fine with FSU being out of the ACC. I'd be fine with them without a program entirely.

What’s gonna happen when it’s down to 3 major conferences? Are they gonna divide teams up into divisions based on their geography, basically putting them back into their proper conferences but under an SEC/B1G/B12/higher subdivision banner?

Anyone but Bama. If I’m in contention in my bowl pool then I want my pick to win, Texas.

I either need Michigan and Texas to win tonight, or if Michigan loses then Texas to win the championship to win my pool. Would be 2nd if not, but I want the W.

That was one hell of a ending to the Washington/Texas game. I don't think I ever remember that happening before at the end of a game where the team that's leading had a player get injured and stop the clock like that. Lot rather have Washington win it all but ill take Michigan anytime over Alabama,so I'm happy with either now
