It would be typical of Notre Dame to get matched up with Alabama and lose at home. But we’ll see, if Penn State loses we’ll move up to #5 seed and off of a Bama game.

I, for one, am happy the Tide can't be held responsible for the title sh*tshow for once. After 15 years of this ridiculous "David v Goliath" narrative thrust upon them regardless of the eye test. All the stupid yakking about favoritism and cupcake scheduling despite every loss being used to built up the lucky ones and literally every other team doing the same.
All it took to knock them down was them losing their coach, the complete destruction of conference and divisional play, the NCAA reneging on their longheld stance on player pay for the sake of "parity", multiple changes to the championship format to feed the Disney monopoly, and the addition of more risk and wear&tear to young athletes.
