-- My mind tends to change, when opting to dislike or like a fighter. It's like the price of precious metals: it inflates or deflates, depending the circumstance.
Guys like Koscheck, Leban, and Grove - I never liked during their prime, but it seems like they're more humble the more they mature, and in turn, becoming appealing to me.
Same with Conor; I get that he talks smack to sell tickets, it's classic pro wrestling 101. But at this stage, in shoot competition, one shouldn't really be running their mouths (unless you've earned that right, take away the hype, and Conor hasn't earned that right). Now if he continues to go to war, putting in 100% each time, yes he'll earn it. But a 14sec KO, no matter how impressive that was, doesn't constitute anybody being a bada$$, because anybody can get caught on the jaw (hell Conor just did, last week while sparring). Maybe he'll eventually mature.
I never liked the Diaz Brothers, but they've earned their rights. They've even gained points from me, for being spokesmen of sorts, for the use of CBDs and proving how not only harmless it is, but beneficial in sports (Michael Phelps, anyone?).
Brock, had I not met him years ago, I would've included on this list. He's arrogant, he's obnoxious, he's even admitted to being a pr1ck. However, my biased based opinion stems from meeting him and when I did, he was absolutely cool with me - so I'm cool with him.
Lastly, I'll say Ronda Rousey. Part of it, is that she's straight-rocketing to another title shot, after a 13-month layover. But mostly it's because she's talked smack against Cyborg, yet continues to duck and dodge any attempts at facing Christine in a catch-weight contest. And it's been happening for years. Her title run was dominate until fame got to her head; it was the classic Rocky III story: get caught up in all this media hype, meanwhile a hungrier contender is somewhere training their a$$ off. And look what happened. Add to the fact that even when she did lose the strap, she had the opportunity to continue the "Rocky III" influenced story, by immediately going back to basics and working herself back into re-fight contention. Instead, she wallowed into her own pity because he was so wrapped up in her own hype, she created in the first place. I honestly hope Nunes puts her way for 1) we'll finally have a Bantamweight title fight that's not a hot-potato conclusion, and 2) it'll hopefully destroy any ambitions of Ronday's to continue pursuing MMA, as it strongly appears she would be more mentally stable in a career with WWE, rather than within the UFC or any MMA company. But I'm sure if she became a WWE star, she'd come back into the cage like Brock did, for the once off event.

Idk how i just saw this...but conor has more than earned his right to talk all he wants. 13 seconds over aldo. Destroyed alvarez. Dropped diaz 3 times. Dropped poirier easily. Won multiple rounds on boxing vs mayweather. At this point conor mcgregor can call my grandmother a fat bitch, and id have to consider that maybe hes right.

Connor McGregor - seems like a disreputable arrogant POS both inside and outside the ring

Conor McGregor. He comes off as a total douchebag to me, as I don’t find him to be likable at all. He’s nowhere near the fighter he’s made out to be either, and it’s plain to see Dana is protecting him in every way possible (See the second Diaz fight). Conor is just an entitled jackass that got lucky to be in the position that he’s in.

It’s really not that hard to understand, just follow the money. Diaz/McGregor 2 was fixed because A.Dana didn’t want Conor’s credibility to be diminished. If Conor loses credibility, UFC loses money. B.Now they’re going to make millions and millions of dollars off of a trilogy. It’s pretty simple.

Diaz only beat conor the first time because conor was cocky and headhunted and went for a finish, and when he didnt get it, he had gassed himself and became vulnerable. Diaz isnt on conors level. No need to fix the fight, conor was gonna win anyway. I give you conor haters credit though, yall will find any and every little way to try to put him down.

Conor lost the first fight because he made a dumb move and gave up his back. I’ll admit that the second was a close fight, but Nate totally won. The fight was fixed (at least the decision portion) because it makes everyone more money. I’m not trying to find every little way to put him down either. He’s possibly the most marketable and charismatic fighter of all time. I never said he was a bad fighter either, as he’s actually a really good fighter, just not the best.

He got put on his ass 3 times in the first 2 rounds. Down 2-0 to even stevie wonder. He won the third easily. 2-1. Definitely not a 10-8 round. He lost the 4th. Down 3-1 . Won the 4th. 48-47 conor. I have heard so many people claim diaz won but nobody ever has anything to base it on other than total strikes for the fight, yet they all came in 1 round, which only wins you one round. I can honestly say i hope they finish the trilogy, because nate doesnt deserve to be anywhere near a title fight. But i wont hijack this thread anymore, i guess we just have to disagree.

I thought it was a clear 48-47 to McGregor, personally... pretty easy to score too. Check out MMADecisions - most media outlets scored the fight to McGregor too... in fact, only 1 from 19(!) scored it for Diaz (and even that was just by one point). mmadecisions.com/decision/7244/Conor-McGregor-vs-Nate-DiazObviously you're entitled to your opinion, but I'm not sure why/how you think the decision was a fix, when most people agreed with the judges (or thought it was VERY close....).

Chris Weidman. Urijah Faber. Kevin Lee. Ronda Rousey.
Always have pulled against them, always will.

I'd have to say at this point the only guy I'm really rooting against right now is Colby Covington. His ridiculous antics for attention overshadow his talent. I'm not really "offended" by his gestures and comments, just annoyed. The guy simply tries too hard.

I don't know about never will but I couldn't respect Thales Leites after that fight with the Spider.... who just lays on the ground asking for someone to engage you?
