My favorite all around year in it's history is 89. Monsoon/Heenan were really hitting them out of the park that year. Then you add in Piper during the Summer with is banter with Heenan which was gold and you got my favorite year for Prime Time.

Piper had a great moment during his guest appearances that stuck with me all these years........i don't remember if HTM had just competed and grabbed the guitar and mic for a few lines of his song,or if he was performing his lesser known "hit" Hunka Hunka Honky Love.....but either way, when it ended and we got back to the studio,Piper said "I noticed his fingers weren't moving while playing his guitar..........shame his lips were" cracked my 11 year old ass up for some reason. And i still remember it all these years later. Lol

The Piper/Rude feud was very underrated imo. It got started on a Prime Time leading to Summerslam 89. The promo work from both guys was tremendous.
It really is sad to see how great wrestling was then to how it is today.

PTW was a staple of my youth. My best friend Corey and I watched it every single week. The banter between Heenan and Gorilla, the squash matches, the skits. I loved it all ! Some memorable moments for me :
- post Mania III where Monsoon would get on Heenan's case for Andre losing.
- premiere of No Holds Barred, with them hosting in I think the theater lobby, while various WWF Superstars would wander in and out during the show. If I remember correctly, at one point Heenan abandoned Gorilla to go,watch the movie with Sensational Sherri.
- the Old West stunt show skits.
- the appearances by the Rosatti sisters.
- The Bobby Heenan Show and Jameson.
- Mr Fuji having the Berzerker throw Jameson off the roof of Titan Tower.
- any holiday episodes.
- Heenan's post Mania VII celebratory party.
- of course the Mr. Perfect face turn.

They just don't make wrestling shows like Prime Time anymore that's for sure. So many great memories like the ones you guys mentioned.
What a time to be a fan.

A bit off topic, but does anyone else remember when Heenan & Monsoon were on Double Dare?

A bit off topic, but does anyone else remember when Heenan & Monsoon were on Double Dare? Yeah I remember it. Classic Heenan/Monsoon at their finest. I'm not sure if it's still there but it was on YouTube awhile back.

Bandit - This is the only clip I could find of the Double Dare appearance. Monsoon/Heenan being introduced and two-three seconds of the game they took part in.
