Ha ha ha people getting butt hurt mad over a kayfabe magazine of wrestling... love it! On a more shocking note, I still can't believe that the PWI Magazine still exists. I still purchase it too, but with how the internet is today with getting wrestling news, it makes ya wonder before how long that the PWI Magazine will die too, much like the Inside Wrestling and The Wrestler magazines. It's the last wrestling magazine still being published isn't it? It sadly is. The Wrestler and Inside Wrestling I believe became one magazine eventually, and then I think in 2013 or so, they stopped making it all together and just kept PWI Magazine. Yet, in 2014 I wanna say, they made it so the PWI Magazine was a bi-monthly magazine, instead of every month. So now, we get 6 magazines a year, instead of 12.

I stopped buying PWI in 2010 and had to throw away all my back issues when I moved. I only kept all the PWI 500s and Guide to the Independents and I will be buying this years PWI 500 if I see it in the nespamtands.Really? N E W S tands is censored? No, W S S is, as in a competitor to RSC, a super store of wresting

This is something that I have looked forward to every year since the early 80s...most of the time you can put on the kayfabe hat and guess who it is going to be...yes reigns had a good year, but if you are going to play "stats"/etc, then Jay Lethal should have been number one thus year

Smh, its just PWI. To me the list hasn't meant anything in a long time. Nothing to take too serious

I used to have a job where I could read PWI & WWE magazine on a nightly basis. I loved reading the PWI 500 once a year. That's how I became familiar with a lot of wrestlers outside of WWE. I'd read through each one because I wanted to get to know the talent in case they ever signed with WWE. But now that I don't work there, I haven't bought one in years. I spent most of my free time babysitting this place.

I'll be honest I haven't read a PWI since I cancelled my subscription in 1989.

I'm guessing they did that for shock value, and to sell some extra copies. Why not Cena, Styles,Owens,Ambrose? Cena was injured/absent for most of the last year. Ambrose and Owens had nowhere near the year Reigns had. The only real contender in WWE would be AJ, and I'm assuming the cut-off point for this list was probably a few months ago. And AJ definitely wouldn't get the "OMG I HATE THIS HOW COULD THEY" type angry overreactions/publicity on forums.

He's the most successful guy of the past year pretty much, so no one is really a better option.

God, I used to remember back in the mid to late 90's there were so many different magazines to get each month. You could barely keep up with them all.

And they were priced low enough that with $20 you could walk out with like 4 magazines. There was PWI, The Wrestler, Inside Wrestling, Wrestling Superstars, plus so many other ones too. And on top of that, the WWF Magazine, Wrestling Spotlight, The WWF Raw Magazine, the PPV magazines, WCW Magazine, ECW Magazine. So much good stuff!

Eh, it's a fair choice given what he's done in the past year.

Meh, not a bad choice at all. I really like Reigns in the ring, he's a really mobile power wrestler who can keep up with all these new era guys, and actually looks like the monster they want to portray him as next to them. His mic work is still terrible, and he's still badly in need of a turn, but the guy has had some great matches over the past year. Plus, he was a three time world champ in the span of, what, five months? That's probably what netted him the spot on a kayfabe mag

I've had several photos published on their covers.
