Many know I am a HUGE fan of what the WWE figures have become. We are getting everybody on roster now! It's crazy to be able to finally own some of our favorites. Even the non televised talents are getting figures! I can't help but be a little sad when I look back at some of what Jakks missed. I wanted to give my "missing roster" opinions as well as hear your's. I'm not just talking about our usual "prototype and unproduced", I'm talking about ones we never even got a chance at...I'll start off with mine...
TTL era (99-02 ish)
Mideon: obviously not naked Mideon lol
Jeff Jarrett: the TTL window was small but he still could have been lol.
Viscera: one of my favorite BCAs, a heavier TTL would have been awesome!
Jacqueline: we'll come back to her...
The Kat: So many attires to choose from at that! Yeah most weren't kid friendly. But a 2 pack with Chyna would have been epic. I'd also have liked a single Miss Kitty with changeable wigs.
Luna and Gangrel: yes Gangrel had a TTL but another one would have been great!
Sexual Chocolate: mmmmaybe putting sexual on a figure wouldn't have been the best. But a TTL Mark was missed.
KaienTai: one very popular tag team that had plenty of screen time for TTL figures
Right To Censor: same. Plenty of air time.
Godfather: I can't recall a Godfather TTL. I may be wrong
DLo Brown: like why didn't we get a TTL DLo??
Essa Rios: This could have been a very neat figure. He got enough screen time to have one imo.
Terri: her popularity peaked in the late 99-2000 era. Easily could have been two packed with Perry Saturn or triple packed with the Hardy Boys or E&C.
Ruthless Agression era (03-08 ish)
Jazz and Rodney Mack: I know Rodney wasn't on a whole lot. However Jazz was on roster way too long not o have a figure.
Jacqueline: once again Jackie was swerved. By this time her BCA was outdated. Still on shelves but outdated lol. A new Jackie would have satisfied me as a TTL or RA.
Chris Nowinski: granted he wasn't around a long time. He was featured in story lines and had decent screen time. Plus a very hated heel character.

There still hasn't been a proper APA in ring gear. I think there might have been a Bradshaw but it was hard to come by.
There definitely should've been more RTC members, they gave us Stevie, why not the others?
Dean Malenko should've been in Rulers Of The Ring set that had Eddie and Perry Saturn in it. He was the only Radical we never got.
I would've loved some 3 minute warning figures. Granted we got Rosey as a Superhero and Umaga later on but it's not quite the same.
A Mr. America figure would've made a cool Classics figure.
Sean O'Haire.
Nathan Jones.

Bull Buchanan never got a TTL figure in either guises as big boss man's tag partner or as part of the RTC. And then again he didn't get a RA for his short spell as B-2 with John Cena. Although he has a BCA from his time as Recon in the Truth Commission.

The only ring gear/shirtless version of Bradshaw as part of the Acolytes/APA was the figure included with Test on the 2-pack Ringside Rivals set.
I recall seeing pics of prototypes of figures of Bradshaw and Faarooq in ring gear as part of an unreleased series of BCA figures. Too bad Jakks didn't make shirtless figures of Faarooq when he was part of the Acolytes/APA.

I mean he was on roster for ages and had more than enough screen time. Plus the titles he held. Jakks really dropped the ball there. I find it weird how we got some people and some we didn't. Perry Saturn, Steven Richards, Molly Holly, Ivory for Pete sake. I mean Malenko and Jackie deserved figures just as much or more so than Ivory. Heck even Tori got a figure and she barely wrestled. I think her career highlights were managing XPac and Kane lol. We got a TTL Al Snow who was just about as featured as Malenko.

Although he has a BCA from his time as Recon in the Truth Commission. Yeah Bull should have been made at some point. I'd have preferred him with Big Bossman but an RTC would have been neat too. I have this feeling that if Jakks would have had the same mentality of Mattel, we'd have complete rosters lol. I was hesitant to list a few others of the 2000 era but heck why not... Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco...I mean theoretically I don't imagine many kids running to the toy isle for these two. However they were major characters of that year. Some of the most classic moment of the late Attitude era included "The Stooges." Mean Street Posse...TBH I don't recall them much. I was just getting into wrestling in the '98-'99 years. My dad flipped between Raw and Nitro so I missed some mid carders. Though I admit swooning for Pete Gas (gag). But these would have been very unique figures. The attires alone would make them stand out in toy collections. I think an exclusive 3 pack or even a 4 pack with Shane would have been amazing. Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young...I hesitated to list them because, unlike most on my list, they finally were produced. However 99-00 were major years for the dynamic duo. As with Patterson and Brisco, I don't imagine kids would have run to get them. But personally I would have snapped up a Moolah vs Ivory and a Mae with Mak Henry pack. Would they have warmed shelves? Quite possibly. Would have I been a happy 8 year old with Moolah and Mae TTL figures? Darn skippy! I also debated on this addition too... 2000-2001 TTL Trish: the loooooong awaited debut Trish took 2 years to come out. Even Molly got a figure before her (which irked me). Trish was extremely over when she was with Test and Albert. Honestly as a kid, I thought the 'Sunday Night Heat' Stephanie body was a clear nod that we'd get a Trish. If you look at the two, the outfits are similar. I didn't expect to wait another year for a Trish.

Omg I forgot about them haha. I think they warmed shelves in my area for ages. Not to mention the Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay pack.
See what I mean? Lol Jakks had no rhyme or reason sometimes. There were plenty of people on the roster for years with no figure. Then we had guys who debuted with barely any screen time get figures quite quickly. Tazz received a figure quite quickly I do believe. The Hurricane, Booker T, Taijiri all got Unchained Fury figures within months of their debuts. Granted it was a great series. I remember being really hyped for them. However it just made no sense that they received figures so quickly.

You're depressing me with this list. I love TTLs even though they shafted us on so many deserving roster spots to make dozens of Triple H and Stone Colds instead. And fine, they were big draws, but we could've had more variety nevertheless.

Haha I'm sorry dude. But yeah it is crazy looking at this list. I mean yeah some of these were made much much later. But still every genre of wrestling figures feels incomplete if certain guys aren't made accordingly.
I was a HUGE Terri fan. Like she was my absolute favorite. I had Marlena which sufficed for awhile. But after the Raw Draft series shafted us with tons of new guys, I was mad. I really wanted a Terri figure with legs and articulation! And I always wanted a TTL Viscera. I feel like it would have been a really fantastic figure.
In the way of male wrestlers; Austin, Rock, Triple H, Taker and Kane were made way too much. As well as Mankind and Angle. In the way of women; Stephanie and Lita took up way too many spots. I always look back at it like this. WWF No Mercy had every current superstar on the roster at that time. It would have been amazing to see all of them as TTL figures. Even Bearer, Finkle and Cole would have been great TTLs. Seeing as how we got Hebner and Ross. Heck they even made a useless camera guy with the grapple gear! That spot could have been great for Cole.

Just as a hilarious fun fact....Sylvester Terkay made his WWE on screen debut on July 28th 2006. He was released January 18th 2007. So 6 months on roster and he got a figure....I mean I get why Jakks made him. Probably thinking he'd be there longer. But it's just crap that he got a figure over Jazz who was there several years.

It was a BCA figure. And B. It was a long haired Val Venis in an RTC outfit. I tried squeezing him in with my RTC Richards but it just wasn't working haha. There is another one we never got! A TTL Val Venis! I think there was a Right to Censor TTL Venis planned but never made. There was a huge gap between Venis figures. We had a BCA then many many years we got that exclusive RA figure.

LOL I still have that figure. The TTL Venis is strange he would've been a very easy release because all they had to do with stick a head on Stevie Richards body. Jakks really did neglect the mid carders during the TTL days.

I think they didn't release that TTL Dean Malenko which was shown in fairs because he was the least popular member of The Radicalz, and Jakks decided to give more emphasis on making figures of Benoit and Guerrero, who found more success when they began developing their solo push following The Radicalz dissolution.
