So tired of this interim title crap. I don't recognise any of these interim title holders as legit champs. In my eyes, Whittaker has never been the champ, because he didn't beat either Bisping, or GSP for it. Now Whittaker's out, and you've got Gastelum walking around with a belt he's never won, and now if Adesanya beats him, he'll get a belt too. The last true MW champ was GSP - because he actually beat the REAL champion. Yeah Whittaker is absolutely the legit champ. It isn't his fault GSP didn't want any. That logic would mean we don't have a light heavyweight champ because dc vacated. We also don't have a featherweight champ because conor vacated. |

I'm fine with the interim title fight, though let's be honest it's just a #1 contender fight. It gives Gastelum the idea he has a real title fight when everybody just wants Adesanya to get the shot. Two birds, one stone

But I'm here to tell you, Thiago Santos is the next light heavyweight champion.
Struve laid down the gloves today. Likely won't see the skyscraper again.

Holy s***, i had two scenarios happening in this fight, never thought Usman would dominate Woodley. Gotta give it to Woodley for being a gracious loser, but bye bye ever touching that Welterweight Title. I hope im wrong and we get a rematch.

BTW f*** Herb Dean for that finish on Askren vs Lawler. I wanted Askren to win, but that finish ruined the fight. Again, holy s*** never saw Lawler nearly knocking Askren out, but then again I shouldn't have been surprised, Lawler is a beast

Johnny Walker is a fun fighter man. I'd like to see him be challenged a little.
I'm still not impressed by Zabit. Stephens is a one trick pony.
Remember when Cody Garbrandt was a world champion? Yikes, what a fall from grace. 3 straight KO losses. Put a fork in him, his chin has been exposed.
Lawler got screwed, but good to see Herb kinda man up about it and Lawler took it in stride.
Just when I bought in on Woodley...he shits the bed like this. That's as all time bad performance. Reminds me when his teammate Pettis lost to Dos Anjos. I may be wrong, but something about Usman tells me he may be champ for a while.
Jones is Jones. Smith is tough, and he took the shots all night, but he doesn't have the fight iq. He looked lost. Don't know why Jones threw that knee. To even risk the dq and the title. Why?
Please give me Jones vs. Thiago Santos next. Please.

Khabib is the champ. Thats the guy you're chasing. Hell, rumor is he turned down the fight for the interim title. Huh?
I don't think this guy is playing with a full deck. I understand he wants a payday, but how about build yourself up to be a money fighter rather than piggy backing off of someone else's name.

Askren had Robbie in a bulldog choke and the guy can crush a watermelon in his grip. The fight was ending in the remaining 2 minutes regardless |

Niko Price had a great stop of Means, but overall it was a skippable night

He may want to find a new supplier. Seriously though, Meisha Tate said something along the lines. That since he cut so much body fat. That it could be something he did before and due to the extreme cut. It's pulsating similar to Jon Jones. I don't know if I buy that though. Who knows |
