I still have my AWA Remco guys from when I was about 11 years old or so. I wouldn't call my self a collector back then though.
I honestly didn't start until Mattel made their first Ultimate Warrior and Road Warriors figures. So what ever year that was. I'm not a big collector as it is. I'm still only around 30 figures at this point as I only collect a handful of guys.
I do enjoy looking at people's collections along with visiting this board despite not being a huge collector.

When I was 8 way back in 1990, my parents got me the Big Boss Man and Ultimate Warrior along with the hasbro ring. I sadly sold off my collection when I went to college, but now I'm back in the saddle picking up elite figures of the classics from when I was a kid.

Just started collecting seriously three years ago. I had tons of figs of all kinds when I was a young pup, but started the hobby of collecting three years ago. My oldest figure would be RSC Macho King. E13 Cody Rhodes would be second.

I started collecting 18 years ago when I was about 7 or so. My first few figures were Bend Ems from Big Lots haha. They weren't carded at all. They came in clear plastic bags with a WWF logo card sealing the top. I think my first few were Sunny, Sable, Brian Christopher and Chyna. Literally that's about all they had. I bet there were 50 of each lol. I still have the Chyna and Sable! Sunny and Brian were thrown out because I used to bite them haha. My best friend was the one who actually got me into wrestling and the figures. He was a year older then me and had leukemia. He passed away in 2000 but I remember his mother giving me a bunch of his old wrestling figures. I lost most of them unfortunately but I still have a mini Paul Bearer which was my favorite! So many memories

Well - if you count when I was a kid, it was a WCW Galoob Barry Windham and Flyin Brian. If as an adult, I guess it was a Jakks Classic Superstars Dusty Rhodes. In terms of my oldest figure, it's probably one of the AWA Remco figures I have.

My entire life, I've collected/played with Wwe figures. First figure I ever had was a hasbro Ultimate Warrior. Had white trunks, and pink and green symbols on it. Still have it. It literally has teeth marks from me, when I was teething.

My first figure was the LJN Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Don't have it anymore. Those LJN figure took a beating but the paint didn't hold up well
