Eddie was such a breath of fresh air. To me, it I never saw him as a main event/champion, until they gave it to him and then all of a sudden I realized "wow, this guy really is championship material". IMO, he would have had a lot more staying power at the top b/c he could vary his persona a lot more than Benoit. Very sad they're both gone.

Eddie for sure everything he did was gold. Beniot eventhough he deserved it didn't have the charisma Imo to keep it going afyer the original hype wore off I was more than happy to have a new champion.
