Porridge is number one for me. The writing, the acting and the actual situation of the sitcom was immaculate. I am a big fan of Father Ted too, but felt it was let down by a weaker final series. Honourable mentions to Rising Damp, The Thick Of It and pretty much every other series mentioned in this thread and another Rik Mayall vehicle The New Statesmen. Yeah Rising Damp is class...got the DVD set real cheap new like £9.....Rigsby n Alan class

Glad to see some love for Game On, definitely underrated. I actually like Neil Stuke's portrayal of Matt better than Ben Chaplin's which may be an unpopular opinion. Rewatched the whole series a few weeks back, funnily enough. I preferred the first Matt but Neil Stuke played Matt in such a better, unhinged way the character was. The episode when he's trying to convince Martin and Mandy he's shagging the woman upstairs, comedy gold. "IM SHAGGING HER".

The League of Gentelmen is great. Loved Father Ted. Partridge is genius. Loved Spaced. I never really liked Bottom, or The Young Ones either.
