Personally my pick to win the Royal Rumble assuming they keep him off of WWE TV until the Royal Rumble would be The Demon Finn Balor with him as a surprise entrant but then knowing the WWE it won't be a surprise knowing how the Internet is now we all would know that he is a surprise entrant and if he doesn't win it then people would start booing the event like how they did in 2014 and 2015
But if AJ Styles is no longer WWE World Champion by the Royal Rumble then Styles would be my pick to win the Rumble or have it be someone who the WWE universe wouldn't expect to win it...imagine if an NXT guy like let's say Samoa Joe, Nakamura, Bobby Roode or Austin Aries were to win the Rumble Match in his main roster debut could you imagine?

I like the Balor pick. Him returning and winning the Rumble to go on to face Rollins at Mania would have been a good story. But it doesn't look likely now with Seths impending face turn.
It's hard to say. Balor, Rollins, Ambrose, and unfortunately Reigns and Cena are possibilities. I'd like to see Seth take it. But he seems destined for a match against HHH unless they blow that off at Survivor Series or something. I don't see how they can drag it all the way to Mania, especially after he screws him again Sunday.

How exactly will the Rumble work with the brand split?

How exactly will the Rumble work with the brand split? Probably the same way it did from 2003/2012 with the winner choosing what title they can fight for.

The Royal Rumble will work the same way it has always worked whenever there was a brand split from 2003 to 2012 where you had 15 RAW superstars 15 Smackdown superstars and the winner going on to WrestleMania to face the champion of their choice If a RAW superstar were to win the Rumble they could choose to challenge the WWE Universal Champion (RAW) or they could do what Benoit did in 2004 and jump brands going to Smackdown to challenge for the WWE World Championship (Smackdown) Or if a Smackdown superstar were to win the Rumble they could choose to challenge the WWE World Champion (Smackdown) or they could jump brands going to RAW to challenge for the WWE Universal Championship (RAW)

Balor or Rollins.
If Balor can return by then or if Rollins isn't champ by then.
Dark horse pick: Sami Zayn, if Owens makes it to Mania as champion.

I just want a heel to win the Royal Rumble Match and why? Because then if a heel wins it think about the heat the heel gets by winning but also that way by doing that you actually give the fans a reason to boo and the heel who wins it eats it up for everything it's worth so for that reason I would definitely have that happen but who are good heels that can win it right now? Well AJ Styles is champion right now and so is KO so if neither one of them is champion then either one of them should win it or someone who the fans really don't want to win it

The way I see it there are quite a few options this year. Balor (The most likely) Lesnar (Second Most Likely) AJ or Cena (Depending on Which one is Champ by then) Reigns (Ugh me) Rollins I'd say Ambrose as well but unless he goes full on Heel by then I seriously doubt he'll be near the title...
