Yep, that's why the Bill and Ted series failed and the Ferris Bueller series did too I think the list would be smaller if you tried to name the shows that were better than the movies. Buffy Friday Night Lights Harry and the Hendersons MASH Stargate Is that it? La Femme Nikita? I'd say the Clone Wars are better than any of the prequel movies, if that counts. Hannibal and Fargo are probably close to on-par to their predecessor films. But yeah, the list of great movies turned into terrible or mediocre shows is lengthy. I really liked Limitless but it worked as an extension of the movie since Bradley Cooper was somewhat on it. I was disappointed that one got canceled. As far as Rush Hour 4? Seriously, worse sequels and reboot ideas have actually happened. I wouldn't count it out. Jackie Chan is still a busy guy and Chris Tucker has finally kind of come back around to Hollywood. I wouldn't bet against it, honestly.

So let me get this straight... you came into this conversation with the belief that one of them was refusing to make the film, but you still made this thread anyway? K. Jackie Chan said he wouldn't commit to the film without reading/liking the script first.
