I want WWE to buy them. Only because it would lead to their library being added to the WWE Network and being able to freely watch 2002-2009 TNA would be awesome. That's why I want WWE to buy them too. Yeah, it would suck for people who still watch TNA, and for all of their employees. BUT. It would be pretty cool to binge watch the early years of TNA. I thought you could do that now on YouTube on their Channel

I just wish that there was an easier way to watch the weekly shows from 2005ish to now in order.

Not sure if they're still selling them though.

I like TNA Impact Wrestling. They are currently my second favorite Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment company, and my third favorite of all time. I hope this isn’t the end for them. If it is, so be it. My second favorite Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment company was bought out by my first favorite Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment company, and everything turned out fine.
The WWE is the New York Yankees, the Montreal Canadiens, the Boston Celtics, and the Pittsburgh Steelers of Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment. There is no denying that the Raw, Smackdown, and NXT is number 1 AND number 2 AND number 3 shows in this business today. Anyone who says otherwise is in denial. You don’t have to like them, (and I can’t stand the Yankees, Canadiens, Celtics, and Steelers), but you can’t take away the fact that they are the most successful franchises of all time…for now. Although they each have the record number of Championships in their respective sports, they can be defeated, and have been.
TNA had some of the greatest moments in Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment history. When your flagship event is named “Bound For Glory”, you kind of give off the vibe that you’re not quite there yet, but you’re almost there. If you have a good player on a bad team, it’s a waste of a good player. That player should consider being traded to a good team that can utilize their talents better. If the TNA goes under, I believe the best way to preserve those moments is to embed their history into the Network.
The WWE can take the TNA roster and assign each of them to the Red brand, the Blue brand or the Yellow brand. TNA also has a whole roster that can be a part of the Purple brand as well. With the likes of A.J. Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, and Eric Young, there is also an Invasion angle they could run…just saying…

Seriously though it would be sad if WWE bought them.

I just want to know year over year how much money they lost. I doubt they where ever profitable.

Going to be a sad day if TNA closes it's doors. Another portion of wrestling fans lost.

Corgan, Sinclair, Ted Turner again, I don't care, just don't let it be Vince.

This is one of those situations, its just a matter of time, they have been hemorrhaging money for awhile now, I mean its like the final days of ECW not paying ring crew and having checks late to talent, honestly It might be better for them to sell or close. I hope another investor would come in and buy the company, because at 1 point I truly enjoyed watching TNA more than WWE, I felt the in ring work was better, and they were pushing young talent and using established talent well. Sadly not anymore, Dixie ran the company into the ground, she had the finances behind her and with bad decision after bad decision has left the company a shell of what it was.

Well the reason a sale is difficult is supposedly because TNA has more debt than the company is actually worth. The name is tarnished, and anyone interested in TNA would almost be better off using their money to start a new, debt free company. That's why it will end up being Vince who buys it. He will pay their debt and a small price for the company itself in the end. Sooner or later.

This is just about exactly what I was thinking short of any other investor other than Vince. For those thinking of all the people losing jobs, I look at it this way. Either you are a decent enough wrestler/made a name for yourself where there is plenty of work elsewhere (ROH/Japan/Indies/Etc..) Or if you were a low level production guy, stage hand, etc... it seemed like for the last year or so you were lucky TNA was paying you anyways with the unpaid checks, late money, etc... Thats not much of a job. TNA's value these days is within their tape library. The better days of the company where focus was put on younger stars determined to move the company forward. The AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Christian Cages, Samoa Joes, Bobby Roodes, James Storms, Abyss's, etc.. of the world are the ones that made the company what it was. Not the Hogans, Hardys, Bischoffs, Nashs, or WWE Future Endeavored stars of the world. I'd much rather see it bought out now rather than later, while it still has some dignity to go out as a once cult-classic brand that at its highest peak was able on some levels to compete with WWE. I haven't watched regularly since 2012, it just was never the same once Hogan/Bischoff came in and crapped on it.

Where does TNA even fit into WWE? They've never acknowledged it before.

I have everything crossed that Corgan finds the money. I do not want to see TNA swallowed up by WWE and a lot of good talent put out of a job.

It would be a sad day when TNA does close. I haven't watched them in years, except for the Final Deletion match which I really enjoyed. It's a shame they never were the legit competition to WWE they wanted to be.

Billy just did an interview on Facebook saying he's headed to Orlando rain or shine, but it does sound like it's going to come down to the wire again. My hope is that Billy can take full control of the company and we go from there. I think he attracts eyes and sponsorship that someone like Dixie doesn't have access to for obvious reasons. Billy also said he met with POP TV and they're great with where the product is at as long as he's the guy driving the ship.
Seems to me this is a Billy buys the company or WWE puts them out of business type of scenario. Even then, I have to think Billy has to go into it with an investor if he's going to buy the company so that he's not writing checks out of pocket just to get shows on the air. Then he needs some lead time on how they're going to become profitable. The website, merchandising, live events, all of that stuff needs revamped with a change of ownership.
I guess we'll see. Seems like this weekend is the "Doomsday Clock" for them.
