Even though Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn still run the WWE, the landscape IMO has changed dramatically when Triple H replaced John Laurinaitis behind the scenes as it all began with FCW being rebranded as NXT Wrestling. Under Triple H, the WWE has:
* Phased out models such as Kelly Kelly for more talented female wrestlers such as Charlotte * Hired the likes of A.J. Styles, Samoa Joe, Sami Zayn and Apollo Crews * Phased out midget wrestling which resulted in Hornswoggle being released * Reducing Cody Rhodes' role (rumor has it is that Laurinaitis was a huge fan of Rhodes)
Any others that you could think of?

* Phased out midget wrestling which resulted in Hornswoggle being released Hornswoggle was released because he failed the wellness policy and had nothing going for him

Actually, Hornswoggle was featured regularly on WWE Programming but his role was reduced back in late 2014 around the time time that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon gained more power backstage. In addition, longtime timekeeper Mark Yeaton was a Kevin Dunn Guy but was released because of The Game and Stephanie.

I knew as soon as I saw the OP that in the end it would revolve around Cody Rhodes in someway.

Triple H became head of creative in 2013. There were midget matches between Hornswoggle and El Torito in 2014, and before that it had probably been seven or eight years since WWE had midget matches (I don't recall many after Hornswoggle vs Little Boogeyman). So HHH was the guy who brought midget wrestling back, and WeeLC was one of the best matches of the year.

Not sure about the Cody Rhodes or midget wrestling parts, cause neither makes sense, but I digress. But a few things I've noticed...
Vast improvement of the in ring product.
Women matches are actually entertaining.
Focus on real tag teams.
Rebirth of the Cruiserweights.
WWE is no longer afraid to sign top indy talent.
Talent feels far more unique. Not everyone is a bodybuilder in baby-oil.

As long as we're focusing on the positives, let's shine some light on the negatives, too:
- Largely responsible for CM Punk quitting the entire industry thanks to his backstage politics.
- Wanted to bury Daniel Bryan on the card at WM 30 in exchange for two of his best friends main eventing the card.
- Revolved every episode of RAW for roughly a two-year span around him and his wife.
- Beat Sting in his first WWE match for absolutely zero reason whatsoever.

Also, hasnt created a star on the level of John Cena or Brock Lesnar despite signing all the top independent and international talent and recruiting outside athletes with impressive credentials. HHH gets too much credit for how good NXT has been but none of the blame for how bad Raw is.

El Torito actually isn't a midget. Just saying. But phased if out? It was never really a thing besides on Smackdown in 2005 when they had that guy Palmer Cannon bring them in lol

If you think about it NXT is pretty much what TNA used to be.

I often say, NXT shows what TNA could/should have been.

So true. For every good thing HHH has done, there's 3 bad. And i dont even like giving him credit for NXT or the women's division. Maybe he helped in getting them more exposure and pushing for their style, but without the talent, HHH couldnt of done squat. He couldnt take an NXT roster of Cena, Reigns, Batista, and Sheamus and turn it into what NXT is. I still dont really understand what HHH "does" in NXT. Because all im seeing is great wrestlers being given freedom in NXT. He might be reslonsible for that, but theyre doing the work, not H.

I would rather see Kelly Kelly, Maria Kanellis, Candice Michelle, Christy Hemme, and the likes of the 'models turned WWE superstars' compete before girls like Charlotte, Bayley and Sasha Banks.
Look back at the 70s and 80s, there were unattractive beasts for women and they had good matches, but nobody cared to watch them. They wanted eye candy, and with the likes of Kelly Kelly and them, we got just that!

He also mended the relationships with several past superstars who we thought would never return to the wwe like warrior and Bruno.

El Torito actually isn't a midget. Just saying. 4'5" makes him a midget. Technically, Hornswoggle is a dwarf... and his release had nothing to do with his wellness violation... which was due to not being able to produce a sample. His hair test came back clean but it was inadmissible.

Triple H has done FAR more good for wrestling then bad.
I don't know how some people can't see that.
