Ive never been close to being a Rodgers fan but man you gotta feel for the guy and the Jets/fans. The Jets pretty much put all their chips in for this season and ARod didn't even get five snaps. I know its a lot of talk this morning from the sports shows about bringing in Brady,I just dont see its a chance he'll come play for the Jets. Welp,guess they're fire up this week and knock the Cowboys off sundayπ

I have a friend whoβs been a season ticket holder for the Jets for the 20+ years Iβve known him and he was so excited for this year and was there last night for all 4 snaps of Rodgers Jets career. So heβs gutted this morning after the reports of the mri confirming the complete achilles tear.

We've seen Aaron Rodger's last football game.
Not a big Jets fan. Not a big Rodgers fan.
That is one of the worst send offs of all-time. I've never had a pit in my stomach watching sports before. Seeing my team lose the playoffs, seeing injuries, player meltdowns...this was so different. NY was finally excited for football again and Aaron was gonna try to rewrite his narrative at the twilight of his career.
I am just sick to hear the confirmation of a torn Achilles. I knew it was coming by the way he was acting last night and after seeing how his foot bent so far inward towards his shin.
If there's a bright side to see here, Jets landing Rodgers made it an attractive place for some nice free agents. Even though Rodgers is gone, this is a better team than it was last year. Maybe some time spent with Aaron really made a big impact on Zach Wilson.
I don't know. I just can't imagine the whirlwind of being a Jets fan right now.

NFC
Cowboys
Lions
Saints
49ers
Wildcards
Eagles,Giants and Rams
AFC
Dolphins
Bengals
Jaguars
Chiefs
Wildcards
Bills,Chargers and Browns
Just looking at the wild card possibilities shows how much deeper the AFC is to the NFC. I had no idea who was good enough to pick for the last two spots for NFC and AFC has the Jets(before the season),Ravens,Raiders and Titans all good.

Niners over Jags in the Super Bowl Wow! You feel that confident in Jacksonville? About every pool I'm in,I had them going out in the first round to the top wild card team but with that division I can see them finishing higher then 4th because the other three divisions are gonna be beating each other up so bad. I think I way underestimated them,Baltimore and NY(before Rodgers went out)compared to what I'm seeing from most people and is way to high on Cleveland but I just keep expecting the Browns to break through and it never happens lol. |
