New year, same ugly ass black uniforms Did you ever think back in 2013 that one day Blane Gabbert would be considered the hot hand with effective mobility? I never thought that we'd have 3 of the first 6 QBs off the board in the 2011 draft on our roster.......and still suck.

Those black Niners uniforms are a pile. There is a certain "group" of the fan base that likes the black uniforms....I cant exactly express what type they are because it would probably go against the TOS but needless to say most werent fans before 2011

So Kaep is on his way to starting next week. Was there any doubt this was going to happen?

I thought they would bench Kaep to save their cap (see what I did there?). By starting him they now have to pay him the 14 million.

Pretty sure this was the inspiration for the Steelers' uniforms today:

I thought they would bench Kaep to save their cap (see what I did there?). By starting him they now have to pay him the 14 million. He's not been announced as the starter (yet). His contract has to be restructured first. He was on the roster April 1st so he was already going to get paid but he has an injury clause where if he was to get hurt his whole contract is guaranteed. The Niners are looking for a way out of that clause before he's ever going to see the field. Ironically enough its rumored the locker room doesnt want Kaepernick as QB but Ponder instead. Either way Kaepernick starting is lose-lose for us. On one hand we're going to get a lot of press about stuff that is going to be a distraction and the team isnt good enough to play with off the field distractions. And IF he happens to learn how to throw a football, he's going to cost us draft positions as he's still gone at the end of the year because he's overstayed his welcome and we're going to have a crappy pick to try and pick up a new QB. I would much rather we just stick with Gabbert or play Ponder and keep losing, then cut all 3 at the end of the year and take the best QB prospect out of the draft.

Pretty sure this was the inspiration for the Steelers' uniforms today: They're the Steelers original uniforms when they first became a team. I've always loved them, it's a shame they're doing away with them after this season but I think next year by the end of the season will be their 40th anniversary since the end of the Super Bowl runs so they'll go with the 70s uniforms which will be cool I guess but I'm fond of the bumblebees.

Well, they're certainly... eye catching. I suppose they're no worse than the blue/yellow throwbacks the Eagles wore back in '07. Actually, maybe they should've worn them today, considering they murdered the Lions when they wore them...

Slightly nervous for tonight. Eli always seems to rock it when he comes to Lambeau, or plays Green Bay for that matter, and the secondary allowed 205 yards to Marvin Jones 2 weeks ago, so Cruz/Beckham/Sheperd should have no problem.

Yesterday I watched "A Football Life - Chad Johnson" . Man you looked like a tool wearing slack shorts , long sleeve dress shirt with a dickie jacket over it, all while holding a cigar that wasn't lit the whole time.... Other than that you were a elite WR, a guy that had a good sense of humor, but never could learn our playbook

How many ways can San Diego find new ways to lose? This is some Murphy's Law bullcrap for them.

Chargers season is incredible. If it weren't for the amazing little season the Raiders are putting together and adding to with this win I would feel terrible for them.
